Central Illinois is so blessed to have Visions by JDR! This is a wonderful metaphysical shoppe, with a sprawling, ever-changing selection of stones and crystals, literature, quality herbs, incense and candles, as well as tools for spiritual development of all kinds! I’ve been shopping here for years and each time I visit, staff and customers are smiling, laughing, interacting, and helping one another. This New Age store is an exemplary model, not only for other shoppes of its kind, but for all stores as well, because the staff here treat clientele with respect and a unique, thoughtful concern for their needs. Wellness practitioners and spiritual folks of all walks can find something worthwhile here. Thank you, Visions team!!!

This was an Amazing Store, the sister of the owner passed in November 2019 and 2 weeks later the owner passed away. The store is closed and in probate. Totally sad she was young and a great person. May their spirits fly high at peace till we meet again.

This is in reply to the individual complaining about the lack of masks.As a grandma and 20 year holistic professional, I know that not only do cloth masks not prevent the passage of most viruses, but they are harmful due to the limited oxygen supply allowed through breathing intake. This directly affects your immune system and response. I refuse to wear a mask. I only shop at stores who honor medical exemptions. The CDC has changed their website as a continuous way to distance themselves from their original thoughts on masks. I foresee lawsuits, in the future, for those requirements. Businesses who require their employees to wear a mask all day causing future immune system problems should be sued by the affected employees. It’s time to stand against the wearing of masks.

I bet you a lot of Crystal places and this is the best Crystal place you could actually go to everything is real and the staff is very helpful. I had a necklace that actually called out to me and bought it and ever since then I been wearing it and its thanks to these loving people for giving us the opportunity to actually buy their crystals candles all that good stuff.

Would love to give a positive review as it seemed like a cool place to visit, wasnt open even though it was during posted open hours. Maybe someday will come back but cant trust the hours posted.

Not a single mask in sight. If you like metaphysical stores because you think crystals will protect you from communicable diseases then this store is for you. If your interest in the metaphysical comes from a well of empathetic care for other living creatures then avoid this store. Immediately upon entering I was waylaid by a woman interested in reading my fortune. I am usually the first to get a reading but how can you read my future when you cant read the CDC website. Truly a disappointment because their selection was great. Cannot support businesses that will willingly kill my grandma.

I absolutely love this place. Darlene is awesome and so is her help. The last time I was in there they were all very helpful. I will be making a trip there in the real near future...tomorrow.

While I’m not someone who normally purchases the content within this type of shop, I came in looking for a gift or two and ended up finding the perfect items as well as something for me! I don’t know the first thing about crystals or anything eclectic - but the variety and choices were incredible.The two people working were very friendly and helpful, they weren’t pushy at all and let us look around. I would absolutely come back!

Really wide selection of items. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable... They definitely go above and beyond to answer questions and provide information. I love the gumball machine full of stones and gems!! This place is a happy surprise in the middle of nowhere.

This place is unbelievable. Better than anything I have ever been in. They do everything. Reiki and other energy work all very professional. Owner is amazing. They also have a woman that can wrap your stones for you on location. If your into the Holistic and Metaphysical worlds do yourself a favor and stop in. You will not be disappointed in the merchandise, service offering, vibe or workers. My favorite place outside Chicago and I know my stuff.

Visions is, easily, the best metaphysical store within a 300mi radius of Springfield. Make that the best in the Midwest! The ladies at Visions are SO nice and helpful, not to mention very knowledgeable. The selection here is HUGE—books on nearly every New Age subject you can think of, every type of stone you could want, and so much more. There’s something for every walk of life here. Springfield, we’re lucky to have this store!

This is hands down the best metaphysical store I have ever walked into. The staff there is just wonderful! I can either walk in knowing what I want, or I can ask a million questions. They have been very knowledgeable when I ask questions and very detailed. I recommend them all of the time.

Love this store! We got there just as they were packing things up to move to a new location, but lots of stuff was still out. I loved the large selection of stones and jewelry, plus they had a decent of collection of books still out. The woman there was extremely helpful and friendly, I highly recommend this place!

Coming from out west, I was amazed and delighted to find Visions by JDR. A wonderful gem and mineral display is a great thing to explore. So many opportunities for classes and activities can be found here. This is a great store! The last time I went to a similar store was in Sedona and Flagstaff. Great job!

It was unorganized no really help. Did have some nice stuff but wasnt sure want the meaning behind them were cause no one asked us if we need any help.

We (my wife mainly) were initially quite hesitant to enter the store simply based on the preconceived notion that maybe it wasnt exactly what we thought it would be and that it would not be worth anyones time to stop in. After doing so however, we not only learned how unbelievably wrong our assumptions were, but we were instantly elated to find out that it was absolutely the place we imagined and then some! The combined knowledge of the staff as well as some of the most amazing items for purchase, made this one of the most pleasant and uplifting impromptu stops we have ever made. Thanks ladies for the helpful advice while browsing, and a big thanks for providing this community with a much needed critical tool for human development and spiritual uplifting that most folks would have to travel terribly long distances to experience!

The store itsself is absolutely gorgeous with alot of valuable tools. With that being said. There is a strong holier than thou attitude present amongst the workers. With this being one of the largest and only midwestern metaphysical stores its obvious the owner was looking to capitalize. Not help :) reminds me of a metaphysical walmart.
