Just stopped by and picked up a couple of paint extension poles for frog gigging. The staff was great at helping us out finding the poles and recommending ones they thought might work best. There is always so much more here than at the other hardware stores in town.

This place has never failed to amaze me. Its smaller than Lowe but they have a lot of stuff. Excellent service

Great folks here. Yes, you can save a couple bucks at Lowe’s or Home Depot, but these guys know what they’re talking about. Plus, they have a nicely curated selection and often have oddball sizes of things that you might not find at the big box stores.

This place is something else. I went in for 1 part. For a lighting problem. Walked out ,seen something else on the out had to go back to the register bought 2 MORE THINGS. . Just think 🤔 if I wasnt in a hurry. Id STILL be in there . Theres all kinds of interesting things for around the house. The help was great. Everyone I talked to knew all the answers to my questions. Very informative. They even helped with all the heavy things I got . Even helped me an put them in the car for me. I loved the way they were so good to me. Were else can you go an get that kind of service? This day an age? NO WHERE ! IM GOING BACK. .

No one is really willing to help no matter how long you walk around trying to find someone to help. Employees are there but they are the Helpful Hardware Store. I love ace hardwares and go to them all across the country just will not go back to this one ever again

Great people and great customer service! I went in to have a snapped key duplicated. I had 5 employees that either directly helped or asked if I was being taken care of. Not a lot of places like this anymore.

The store is nice and staff are helpful, but their website is something to be desired. As a commercial account customer, I need to research items for pricing and convenience. Westlake is certainly convenient but almost everytime I have look online, the descriptions are severely lacking and usually no photos to confirm this is what Im looking for.

I love this Ace Hardware. It’s obviously a box store, but maintains a small hardware store feel. As I walked in, I and others that walked in near me were greeted by a warm older gentleman. I easily found what I was looking for because the store is so clean, well-lit and (most importantly) intelligently organized. Oddly enough, almost every time I’ve come into the store, I’ve had to use my phone to identify a song playing on the speakers above that interested me.TLDR: Clean, organized, great people, great music

I used to hit Westlake Ace BC it was in my neighborhood. But we Just bought a new home and doing a lot of work. Hitting all the big box stores to get supplies bc they are near our new home. OMG when I entered a beautiful young lady asked if I need assistance. She was a worker just coming in to work. WAS SHE SO HELPFUL! I didnt get her name; she was so kind and convinced me to purchase items! And, the young man who cashiered my purchase....kudos to him, too! Both encourage me to visit here in the future!!!!!

Went in to purchase a new grill. They had a solid selection and competitively priced. Staff was friendly and quick to help. Westlake provides the selection of the big box home centers and a personal service experience.

I went there to get some Mums which were very nice. I also got windshield wiper fluid and a broom.Clean and friendly

Always feel better in an Ace. Prices and selection fine. Big box guys are well... bigger. And usually offer better prices. But hate feeding the beasts.

Went to pick up a few things that cost more than they would at a big box hardware store. There was a customer who was holding his mask. The city has an ordinance concerning wearing masks, but this man obviously believes the law does not apply to him if he doesnt like it. He was yaking with an employee who was wearing a mask. I get the things I came for and Im walking to the check out line and this guy is still running his mouth to the employee and still not wearing a mask.I can and will shop somewhere else. I try to support small local businesses, but if they dont care about my health, I dont care if they survive or if the big box hardware stores put them out of business. Thats called competition.You know how you ask an employee a question and they want to be helpful and youre happy you shopped at that store? This is not that place. Also the paint selection is teeny tiny. Good thing I need a small amount of white exterior paint because thats all they had.Over the next few months Ill be spending a significant amount of money on fall plantings and home improvement projects at one of those big box hardware stores where people wear masks and they have curbside pickup and theyre open at 6 am during the week.

They have a large variety of products, helpfull and knowledgeable staff and great customer service. I found the stuff I was looking for and it was sold out at both big box stores. Very large selection of bolts and screws.

Need help? Westlake is the place to go for answers. Very helpful staff. The store has something for everyone, including grilling items and bird feeders. Huge selection of everything.

Husband ordered a stovetop coffee pot from Walmart only for them to lose it. Went online and found the same one at this location for same day pickup and less money in general. There was no easy indication for where the pickup spots were so we just parked as close to the door as we could and called. Very lovely woman took our call and brought it out to us. Very happy with overall service and product availability.

I wish I had gotten the names of the 2 employees that helped me so much today.I dont have a car so I make my way around town by bus. The bus route 7 Red has a stop right out front with a bench. Which is such a plus.I tell you this cause most of the day the muscle in my back that helps control my left arm was in spasm. So, by the time I got from bus stop to the front door my pain level was real high. I also have other back issues too (with asthma to boot.)The first thing I wanted when I got inside was a place to sit. I get inside no chairs. A very nice gentleman employee was walking near me. I got his attention and I asked for a chair. I explained why and he gave me no trouble to getting one for me.With using his headset asking for a chair with urgency (I think he said he was afraid that I may collapse to the floor.) I see a lady employee who had no customers at her register offer to go find me a chair.The young man stayed near me untill the lady came walking up to the front with a chair. Which she got out of the break room.I told her what I was truly there for. Was 3 different kind of nails. I had one of each with me. I was getting them for my dad. She took them and with her headset she had someone meet her in the area where nails where. She came back to where I was sitting with what I needed.With being able to rest while she shopped for me, helped me a great deal. My pain level went down enough to where I could get up and go to a register.I am so greatful for there help. Its good to know there are good people out there and this location has some real great people working there.Thanks so much.

They had the craftsman wheel that no one else in town had, they also have the weber grill series. I wish there were more smaller stores like this one around town

I really enjoy this Ace. The super stores like Lowes and Home Depot are too large and can feel overwhelming. The Ace on Campbell is large enough to carry everything you might need while still small enough to feel like a mom & pop shop.

Great place that has everything I never knew I needed. Great selection, the guy working in the paint section was less than helpful and guy that was checking me out was just not super concerned with being friendly. Bare minimum, really.

Our maintence man suggested we get some, Liquid Fire to help clean drains. So to Ace we went.

If you need help picking a part this is the place for you. Not like the big box stores no help. But they have what you need.

Needed an odd bolt for a small engine carb. Took the carb in and found exactly what I needed. They even had the belt that I needed for my tiller.

Nice and clean like all other Ace stores. No ice melt but theres a shortage everywhere.

The local hardware shop to run to when I need an odd thing or two. The staff are very helpful in helping me find things or help me solve my issues. The store sells and services Stihl products which is great in helping me maintain my lawn.

Horrible experience at this location. I went into the store and shopped around for at least 20 minutes, not once being offered help by any employee. After getting the items I needed I head to checkout. I have a rewards account I wanted to use with 40 dollars in rewards. I let the cashier know and instantly she became irritated. After scanning in a couple of the rewards coupons she stopped and told me she didnt know how to scan them in and that I wasnt allowed to use more than 3. By the way, the last time I was in this particular location using rewards I was taken care of by the same employee. Just like this trip on my previous visit she claimed she didnt know how to scan them in and I could not use more than 3. Luckily on that particular trip another employee stepped up and showed her how to do it. So I reminded her that she had helped me in the past with a similar order and all she had to do was scan them in.She then made me show her each certificate and the dates. That is completely fine you have to check dates on these things, I get that. This however was her obviously attempting to try to get out of having to deal with me all together. Once she verified all of the dates were still valid she asked/insinuated I was trying to reuse my rewards. I told her I was not trying to reuse rewards, that they were all fresh rewards as she can see by looking at the app provided by Ace. She didnt even look at the screen from this point on she just proceeded to glare at me and do nothing else. she would not continue checking me out she would not even speak. she just gave me a death glare like I had insulted her mother.At this point Im fed up I dont believe my butt should be kissed but I do spend a lot of money at Ace so I feel I should be treated with respect at the very least even somebody who doesnt spend money at Ace deserves at least that. I decided to call the manager and let him know, assuming he would want his business represented better. He was no more of a pleasant person to talk to he did not care how I had been treated and he did not care when I let him know I would not be returning. I used to love coming to Ace unfortunately I will never step foot in this location again.

GOOD PLACE TO GO GET PLANTS

Confusing experience today. I ordered a weed eater online and scheduled a pick up. I walk in the door and Im greeted by a gentleman in a maroon polo. He had a name tag on. I assumed he worked there ( My wife and kids are waiting for me in the car). I asked him where the pick up is online orders. He tells me he doesnt work there, but he starts to pitch me on a free give away. Please be aware of the marketing trap at the front door. Other than the misleading welcome, I am happy with my purchase. The staff was friendly. The cashier could have used some backup. She was doing it all.

Convenient and they carry a large selection of items that you dont find at other big box stores

I’m not a big customer, but have bought lots of plant material here since 1998. Needed a couple of bolts and thought It could be a good place to shop during Corona. I was wrong. Some cashiers were not wearing masks. I left.

There was a wonderful guy tall slender young man who helped me find what I needed. And the girls at the checkout was very outgoing and friendly

Great place for craftmen. Not busy, small nice atmosphere with a great selection for house maintenance so its my go to place for handyman supplies for houses and lawn/gardens. Prices great! Fast convenience for most jobs. Their hardware is the biggest selection iv ever seen, hint the name. Help available anytime to find items, not seen anywhere else this good.

Only go here if you need the most basic, simple hardware/tool, and expect to only have one option if they have it.Went in for 6in ducting, they have 20+ adapters for 6in but no ducting itself... when I asked about it I was told “it would be on isle 13 if we had it but we don’t.”Thanks I guess....As much as I hate going to Lowe’s at least they have what you need.

Went in for bookcase shelf metal pegs. Had a variety to choose from & plastic. 2 different helpers quick to help as I also looked for indoor digital thermometer with clock. Did not have style I wanted but had some. Did not look around but I will next visit. Great to avoid online not sure if you get what you want. See it in store get what you need. I liked this experience

Place was great. Customer service way better then the big box stores. I had a good conversation with the lady n front. Then the feller in the back was quit helpful. So was the cashier. Smiles from everyone. Even the other customers was smiling and happy. When your greeters politely and treated with respect. its amazing the energy is felt by everyone

I love shopping at Ace. Employess are generally on the spot to help me. Sometimes the peice is a just a but higher, but its worth it to me because it SAVES TIME and frustration. The store is organized, they have screws, nails and bracket of nearly every size, and plenty gardening items. I live close to the store and shopping there is my first choice.

Had to there to have keys made. Knowledgeable staff and was out in 15 minutes.
