They made it difficult to make a purchase. I came in to purchase another Mac for our business, The manager refused to accept our business card as a form of payment because my name wasnt physically on the card. Then proceeded to lecture me on how I would be committing fraud if they used said card. My recommendation would be to stick to selling products and take peoples money if they are willing to spend it with you. You are not the only provider of these items. I think I will stick to using Apple or Best Buy in the future.

Absolutely fantastic customer service here. I cannot say enough great things about everyone at this store!The earpiece speaker and charging port on my IPhone 11 Pro Max began failing recently. I contacted Apple Support and they recommended that I take it to an authorized Apple repair center. They set up an appointment for me at the Simply Mac location in Springfield for the following morning. I was greeted upon entering the store by multiple employees. They were all helping other customers and assured me they would be right with me. Within a few minutes, one of them was over and talking to me about the issues with my phone. They ran a host of tests to make sure they correctly diagnosed the issues with my phone. Within a few minutes, they had the problems figured out and offered me two options; repairing the earpiece speaker assembly and charging port, or replacing the phone altogether which given the two issues, was recommended. I carry Apple Care+ on all of my devices so I chose to have them replace the phone with a new phone. They told me that it typically takes about 5 business days for the new phone to arrive from Apple and I was allowed to keep my phone until the new device arrived since I am a small business owner. THE NEXT DAY, they called to inform me that the new phone had already arrived. I went back to the store and within 30 minutes I had my brand new iPhone set up with all my stuff transferred over from my old device and I was on my way! I highly, highly recommend them! I will absolutely be bringing any future business to them!!

Everyone at SimplyMac in Springfield was absolutely outstanding. They communicated with me every step of the way, listened to all of my concerns, and truly went above and beyond to ensure I was back up and running as soon as possible. I’d especially like to mention the store manager on duty Kyle, who was extremely knowledgeable about the service I was receiving - and it seems everything else in the store. I work remote and my laptop is my workhorse, and I wouldn’t trust it with anyone else but the team at SimplyMac Springfield.

My iPhone was stolen a couple months ago and unfortunately was disabled. I tried to get it restored on my own but literally was impossible. Took it into SimplyMac and they had it back and running in 20 minutes. Not only that, they were extremely knowledgable on additional Mac related questions I had, even making suggestions on product that they didnt sell in their store to meet a need I had. I scheduled an appointment to have my battery replaced on my iPhone. The process was simple and when I arrived, they were expecting me and ran diagnostics first and then 2 hours later I had a brand new Apple battery. My phone is working like new again and the Simply Mac techs were awesome. They explained how the process works. The process of having an iPhone battery replaced was easier that I thought, especially when you take it to the right people. Thank you Springfield Simply Mac, you guys are great.

Outstanding service! Love the new location which is easy to get in & out quickly. It is quick and convenient. We had an issue with our Apple phone and they diagnosed it then packaged it up and sent it back to California for repairs. They provided a loaner phone during the time ours was being repaired. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED. Several months ago I came into the store to have my MacBook Air wiped and asked that all of my files be put onto an external hard drive. After buying the hard drive that the employees recommended, being the second external hard drive I had to purchase, they told me that all of my files were transferred and there shouldnt be any issues. I plugged in the external hard drive yesterday and ALL OF MY FILES ARE RUINED. How? I have no idea. I cant open any videos, any photos, any documents.. I have been working on a trial for four and a half YEARS, I told the employees this, asking that they PLEASE try their best to make sure everything was transferred safely, to have all of my work and evidence GONE. After spending nearly $300 and being sold on their process you would think it would have been worth it.

The individual was rude, he started to yell at me. I was trying to explain to him that I have Apple care and he wanted to argue with me and told me that I was incorrect. I was needing to get my Iphone 12 Pro Max Screen replaced but ended up walking out because he was extermely rude to me and the customer before me. I wont be going back there for anything.

Absolutely the worst customer service. We were checked in by one person who told us someone else would help us. After about 10 minutes another person came out and plugged in our Imac. We brought it in because it was so slow in loading anything. It finally got finished with initial startup. The guy that was helping then waltzed out the door, got into his truck and drove off without saying a word. He was gone for about 30 minutes. No one else came to help. He then returned walked right by us, didnt say a word. He then proceeded to help another customer. We unplugged our computer and I told him we were not waiting around any longer. He just grinned and went to help another customer. Rude, rude, rude.

I went here in December 2020 for a 2018 MacBook Air. They change $99 for a service fee. After recommending a new battery and c port for my computer the total was $500.Prior to going my charger wouldn’t hold or would die quickly after getting to full charge not being used.I took it back within the 90 days warranty for them to tell me the new battery and port are running fine and there was actually a free software reset to do as well (which was never mentioned on my first visit).Although the service rep was nice, the service didn’t work. The MacBook is in pristine condition besides the charging malfunction and none of the solutions are working. I would recommend going to the other repair store or somewhere else.

Poor experience.Make sure you make an appointment. I learned that the hard way. I waited for 2 hours as all the other technicians were booked up. Ended up leaving and going home.Returned the next day with an appointment. Was finally helped 30 MINUTES after my appointment start time.Bottom line, make sure you block out half a day to visit this store.It’s a disgrace that this is the only authorized Apple technicians in Springfield.

The scheduling system is flawed however I don’t have a suggestion on how to improve it because working on these machines must be similar to working on a car and difficult to estimate.The staff is knowledgeable and kind and there are places to sit while waiting.My 10 year old MacBook suddenly blew a gasket and they successfully resurrected it.

Went to get my battery replaced in my MacBook after Best Buy’s geek squad told me they couldn’t do it because my Macbook was too old. I dropped my computer off around noon and picked it a few hours later. Customer service was great !!!!

I love Simply Mac! The techs are wonderfully friendly and accommodating. I am an elderly woman who knows little about technology. I am always treated as the smartest person in the room when I take my Mac in for service. Their prices are OK. They have given me a lot of advice at no charge when it is a stupid question. I appreciate this very much. I would recommend this business very highly. AND, they do their best to get you on your way. If they keep your machine, they get it fixed in a very timely manner.

The worst place ever. My Airpods (which had Warranty) had connection issues with my phone. I had to go there 4 times and every time, the guy just used to restart the Airpods or put them in another case and then in mine and give it back to me and said theyre fine. Eventually I had to get new ones. Definitely never visiting this place ever again. Pathetic service.

After several years as a customer, I decided to purchase a new MacBook and iPad here. The “up” button on the iPad never worked. The tech told me me that it did *not* come that way, essentially calling me a liar, and that it would cost $400-plus to replace. This was after they refused to refund an accessory they sold me that also did not work, citing damage to the box.If I can find a better option in the Springfield area, I will not be returning.

Needed a new screen on my phone because the LCD part was broken... I payed money before my phone even was fixed and then told 2 hours later my phone was not fixable due to “tampering”. My phone has never been anywhere to be fixed and is in great condition, besides the screen. I was told that I need to pay additional money for their time and even more money to ship my phone off....Very poor customer service as well, Richard (I believe thats his name) was rude, snobby and in a rush to get done with me.This store is the last option you should look into when getting your phone fixed

The Techs at the store in Battlefield were very friendly and helpful. It seems that they could use more sales staff but they handled the influx of customers with grace and professionalism. Josh and Henry both assisted me and I was very pleased! I had previously bought my Macs for the business in St Louis so it is nice to have a store in Springfield! After setting an appointment then spending that last 2 1/2 hours at Best Buy trying to get a phone looked at ( that we got from Best Buy)to see why it will not turn on. We were told they can do anything because there systems were down. On a whim I called to see if they might be able to help get or sons iPhone looked at to see if they can do anything. I was told they would try to work us in but work on appointments only. We came over to see if we can get worked in. After being in the store for less the 5 minutes there trying to help get the phone fixed. With no appointment and no knowledge of what is happening Christian jumped right in and is working on helping us get our son Christmas present working. I will never go to Best Buy again. We got this phone from them less then a week ago and it was like pulling teeth to get help from Best Buy. Even if they can’t get this phone fixed the overall service is so much better the geek squad. If you need a shop with friendly face and helpful people go here Christian and Andrew are very helpful.

I’m one who never leaves reviews or complains but I’m just so annoyed with the “customer service” I’ve received here on more than 1 occasion. I’ve been in here twice now. Each visit a year apart. Each time they were very rude. Completely ignored the fact I was there until I’d been standing there for at least 30 minutes. Then they make you wait another 1-2 hours to get your phone “serviced” only to say they can’t do it. Honestly wish I could give them a negative star review. I will never go to this store again.

This is literally the worst most unprofessional service I’ve ever experienced and if I could give it 0 stars I ABSOLUTELY would with no hesitation. Their store manager Andrew was very unprofessional rude, literally belittles and undermines you while seeking pleasure from it. He also refused me service for simply asking for and owner or corporates number, while also telling me he doesn’t have to tell me corporates contact info. I made an appointment and watched the employees walk around and check out other customers all while ignoring me. Mind you I went in a couple days before yesterday and was next in line when the very friendly and knowledgeable Henry explained to me that there was a customer there with an appointment and that he would tend to them and then get to me... So it seems as if they pick and choose which customers they value and which they don’t. I will be taking this issue to the BBB because I felt like I was treated unfairly and discriminated against. I seriously wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemies. This place is a disgrace.

This is going to be a little lengthy. So over the past month I have been dealing with an update problem. The 12.1.4 update shut my phone down completely. I went back and forth with Apple and finally went to Simply Mac. I work with several employees and managers to resolve my issue. They all went above and beyond by contacting Apple and other sources to not only help with my phone issue but other personal issues I was additionally dealing with. These guys need to be recognized for their dedication to the customer experience and service. I had dealt with multiple representatives over the past month and excluding three representatives from other companies, these guys are the best. They are vary knowledgeable on their products and the systems they run. I want to mention them personally to be recognized. Andrew, Christian, James, and one more that, unfortunately, I can’t remember his name. Thank you all for your help. Oh and one more thing, Beard Power.

First of all, their customer service was awful. I had to call at least 7 times before I was able to actually talk to a real person. Then once someone answered they had no clue what they were talking about. I had to ask multiple questions just to get one answer. I think they need to get more people who know about the Apple products than just a salesman. When I got to the store I had to wait at least 10 minutes before someone even came up to me and said hi or asked what I needed. They weren’t friendly either. Yes they did a good job replacing my laptop screen but if I wasn’t in a crunch for time, I would have much rather gone some place else. My experience was not good and if I can avoid coming back here, I would. Yes I’m a college student but I deserve the same respect as other adults. When I go into a store I am friendly and just want my problem solved. They did not do a good job of customer service or making me feel better about replacing my very expensive computer screen.

My 27 iMac has needed several warranty repairs, and Ive had two upgrades as well. Simply Mac has been an easily accessed store -- the nearest Apple stores are StL or KC -- that has done good work. Andrew, the store manager, has been excellent.On several occasions, however, Ive noticed customer backup with quite insufficient upfront store help. Staffing could be better arranged, I fear.

Quality of service is good. Service times are outrageous though. I had two iPhone batteries replaced, it took six hours to compete. On top of that there were some “surprise charges” on top of warranty work. When my second phone was brought out for inspection the two bottom screws were missing that the store manager caught as he was handing me my phone back. That was a bit disconcerting. Staff however was very friendly and accommodating. I will seriously consider using Best Buy next time I need Apple certified work done since there isn’t an actual Apple Store nearby.

The interaction I had here left me quite impressed, and would be absolutely happy to return for any other Apple needs. This place is the bottom of the bucket for apple sales and repairs. The make you sign in online and then wait for 30 min while there salesman try to push all their products on you. They skipped my name on the list and when I told them they did they just told me to sign in again. This place sucks. Find another place to buy your apple products and do your repairs

My iPhone battery exchange was 29.00 dollars back in February so when my wife finally takes her’s in it’s 60.00 some dollars but they never mentioned this increase until I go to pick it up, the cost to check to see if it qualifies for the battery was waved if it needed a battery and it did. The service clerk completely understood my complaint and when the manager offered no resolution, this clerk offered to pay out of his own pocket, We of course couldn’t accept that and paid the 60.00 dollar charge. I think this needed to be mentioned up front so I could decline the services before they did the work

I had a really crazy, probably unbelievable warranty issue with my phone. The sales manager (I think) was who took care of my problem. He was very thorough, and very helpful. He was able to take care of my issue and get me a new phone. He was patient and friendly. Thank you so much for taking care of me! You turned my day around! My son bought a LapTop (Mac-Book 15 Pro) at this location. It was labeled as a display Model for $1300, it stopped working after 2 months. We did some investigating and found out it was a return. He would of never bought this if he would of known it was a return. They did nothing to help! It will cost him another $500 for a new mother board. I recommend not to shop at this business, if they take advantage of a 16 year old, they will take advantage of you.

I paid close to $800 (thank goodness I paid for a warranty) for a 2013 laptop. I’ve owned it for about 6 months and have been back to the store three times for crashes/glitches/repairs each time having to leave my computer for a week or so and have gone through two of their computers. Now back for my fourth time with my “new” 2013 computer and they refuse to give me any upgrade even though the old software continues to fail. I’m afraid I’m going to go through everyone of their 2013 laptops before I get any computer that works properly.

Christian was friendly, helpful, and willing to work with me until I had no more questions. I think it would have been a 5 star visit if Id been able to understand one question. Its probably my fault Im still in the dark, but heres what I dont understand:My Mac is loaded with pictures and so is my iPad, but those are not also on the cloud. I know that because Christian helped me look at my cloud photos, and they are all taken recently from my iPhone. I dont know how to transfer my Mac and iPhone photos to the cloud. I will come back in the store after I return from a trip and get more help. However, I was able to understand many other questions. It was a good experience, and I will be back.

I’ve been here a couple times and the staff is always friendly. I recently had the battery replaced in my iPhone.My disappointment is the $20 diagnostic fee. They ran the diagnostic feature through the Apple support app on my phone, I had to push the “I Agree” button after he pulled it up.I thought this was just something standard they did and then did some diagnosing with special equipment or something but no. When I asked if that’s what I was paying $20 for, they said yes and explained they only get paid pennies on the dollar for battery replacement from Apple so if they don’t charge that it’s almost not worth doing.That’s not the customers fault and not our responsibility to ensure you make a profit because of the agreement with Apple. Businesses are for profit, I get that, but charging the customer $20 to run a free app feature is absurd. I will not return to them for battery replacement in the future. Maybe this is a business standard across the board and if so, I’ll change it myself.

Somehow, my MacBookPro picked up malware and I couldnt identify it. My phone wasn’t working right so I took it the Mac store but they weren’t able to fix it. So they had to send it off, and they ordered me a new phone. They were supposed to call me when my phone was going to be at the store. So I gave them my mom’s number and they told me it would be ready in 3 to 5 days. Five days later I called them because I still didn’t receive a call on my moms phone, and when I called them they said they already had my phone, and it’s been there for three days. Then when I got my new phone I got it all set up, and I checked my voicemails and they had called my phone 🤦🏼‍♀️ Even tho I told them to call my moms phone. Also they need way more employees to work there, there was five people in line and I had to wait almost an hour just to be seen by someone.

Gentleman was verbally kind but did not hook up my phone did not do any diagnostic just simply told me what all the costs would be of potential problems. He basically didn’t want to help in any way. I will contact Apple directly, this store was utterly useless. This was after we used this store on a previous iPhone re-call. It took us bringing the actual news report to this store and showing them that Apple did in fact have a recall and our phone was a recalled phone. You have to convince them to help you!

Would rate 0 if I could. Absolutely horrible customer service, both the regular staff & manager were extremely rude. Date of service 4/26/19. Also the young man I spoke with over the phone the evening before was very rude/flippant/unhelpful/put-out/arrogant-sounding. & Even with the required appointment had to wait over an hour past the appointment time just to leave the MacBook & pay for a repair in advance w no estimated time given for the repair to be completed-(it was a cracked screen under extended Apple Care warranty)-ridiculous! Would have taken it anywhere else but this was where we were forced to take it in our area (still 60 miles from where we live) Haven’t had this level of poor service anywhere ever!

My experiences with the Simply Mac had not been good, finding the employees very rude, so I was hesitant about going in when I had my recent phone problem. This time I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the two employees were. They were very knowledgeable and actually friendly.

First off I am not a big fan of Apple at all to begin with. The company I work for wanted me to purchase a ipad to use in my job. I purchased it and set it up without writing down my passcode. (password for every other device in the country, but Apple has to use passcode like they invented it.Anyway, I got slammed at work for the next month and when I got a breather I tried to log on to the brand new ipad. My fault that I didnt write down or remember the passcode so I googled what to do and found I had to install itunes...to attempt to retrieve my passcode. I fought for an hour before calling Applecare a name that sounds like they would care about their customer...they dont. The tech on the phone had to talk to higher grade tech which now put me on the applecare line for about 30 minutes. They couldnt help so they set up an appointment with Simply Mac.I showed up to be greeted with Its gonna take at least an hour and a half if you dont have an appointment from a guy named Kyle. I rebutted that I do have one and gave him my name. He said it doesnt show up on his scheduling book. I suppose Applecare set this up for you? That was a mistake. As if following the manufacturers recommendation was stupid.Much like purchasing this tablet to begin with... I waited and watched him get smug with others that came in after me, with no appointments yet he was able to get his insults in and try to act as if he were Mr. Knowledgeable helping while I sat with an appointment waiting.Long story short, I was held hostage for the almighty $39.95 for them to take the 10 minutes to make promises and get my payment with nothing fixed but a promise that I would hear back from Iforgotmypasscode DOT something or rather. I asked what happens if I dont hear back and they dont unlock my phone? He gave me another website to contact.Im assuming this is a licensed representing company to Apple since they scheduled my appointment. I was insulted from the moment I walked in by Kyle....Henry did take my info and of course my money while he tried to be funny in conversation while acting as if he were saving the world, but what it felt like was a con-game confounded with insult from the moment I stepped through the door. Extortion is what this store and Apple feels like. I will never purchase another Apple item nor will I darken this ripoff representation of Apple again. $400 dollars and never used only to top it off with a $39.95 FU fee for ever purchasing it to begin with. I truly wish I would have told my company I would rather have an android tablet or nothing at all, because at this point so far...that is what I have...a $400 dollar nothing at all paperweight until Apple is satisfied their piece of junk is really mine and Im worthy enough to have it unlocked for me. Whatever happened to helping a new customer not familiar with your product? What is so special about a product that you can tell a customer as they walk in the door that basically we should feel grateful to graced by their great Apple enlightenment? Hey business owner...you should teach your employees to show respect to your possible customers and you should be ashamed of your store policies of cash first before any real service is completed.Btw...it has been over a week and no owner or manager has reached out or responded, not that I expected it...AND my ipad is still locked out after paying these grifters $39.90**UPDATE**After I reached out by actually emailing Simply Mac headquarters, the manager of this store did reach out and listen to my experience. He did refund the charges and was much more personable than the two employees I had delt with. I do appreciate the fact they need to have a service charge to keep doors open. I hope he truly talked to his employees because you need us...the customers to keep those doors open also. Apple finally unlocked my iPad after two weeks. I still am not, nor will I be a fan of their product or practices.

Went to get my iPhone replaced under warranty and they told me I had to get the screen replaced first because of the smallest crack. I told them I wasnt going to get it fixed so they said they could run some test to see if theres anything they might be able to do told me to come back in 20mins I did and I was the only one waiting after an hour of waiting the place was packed. And Andrew bald big guy told me he was helping the others before me because I left the store and came back. I told him I was there first regardless of leaving and he still wanted me to wait. I told him Ill just take my phone and leave and he told me no Im not giving your phone back. The tech came and handed my phone back and told me he was so sorry. I will never go back to that store ever again. Andrew was very rude and disrespectful to me the tech was fine and he tried but I will never go back because of Andrew.!

I scheduled an appointment to have my iPhone battery replaced for $29 under the Apple replacement plan for iPhone 7. Apple advertises this as a $29 replacement and included this place as an authorized service provider. I get there and I am told that a $20 diagnostic fee was necessary in order to order the battery. The phone is a model that is covered by the battery replacement plan, what needs to be diagnosed? This is clearly a scam to get $20 on top of the $29 replacement fee from everyone who walks through the door. To confirm my suspicion i called Best Buy who also does the replacements and they told me it is a flat $29 plus tax to get the battery replaced, same day, in 2 hours. I have no idea how companies like Simply Mac stay in business in todays marketplace. IF YOU ARE HAVING YOUR IPHONE BATTERY REPLACED DO NOT GO HERE.

Can you give an establishment a half a star? I have had a terrible experience with this store. It is unfortunate that this is the only resemblance to an Apple store that we have in Springfield.After dropping my phone off and receiving a loaner phone, I called to check the status of my repair and the associate I spoke with said to me “Apple won’t repair or replace your phone and are sending it back” when I asked for further explanation I was given very litte explaination. I requested to speak with the manager and he was rude and provided no further information.Directed to Apple customer care, 2 hours later I was given resolution. The supervisor I spoke with stated my phone would be replaced all and was so sorry about that trouble this authorized dealer has put me through. All that the Simply MAC store would need to do would be so send the device back and they will replace my phone.When I called the store and spoke with Todd, he was rude and continuously spoke over me. He provided no assistance to make this experience easier or faster. I asked Todd to let me speak and he continued to speak over me in a rude and disrespectful manner. This is completely unacceptable. The level of professionalism the employees of this store have is incredibly underwhelming.I will be picking up my broken phone and doing business with Apple, directly.I will not be doing business with this company EVER again. Rude, unprofessional and disrespectful.Don’t go here! Deal with Apple directly.

If I could leave a 0 star review or a negative one I would. This company has lost my phone and are liars as to when and how they find answers needed. I would not recommend this company to anyone they are the worst place to go for any repairs. I could have driven my phone to get it repaired quicker than they can ship it and get it back to me without losing it.

My iPhone was having the No Service factory issue which Apple has now released a repair plan for. The first thing someone tells me is that the issue could be due to my screen being cracked in the top corner. I asked him to clarify since the company had just published a repair plan. I didnt understand. I asked him if everyone who had the same issue had a cracked screen too. He answered my question with probably. I leave my phone there, then come pick it up and another gentleman tells me theyre not going to charge me any fees because we basically made it worse and now you dont have a phone at all. I went to Verizon afterwards and they said they never send people there because the terrible service is pretty much known across the city. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone either.

Needed a battery replaced on my Mac and have AppleCare and had spoken with Apple so they told me Simply Mac was only provider in my area code with an appointment. Took in and Simply Mac tells me I dont need a battery because my battery passed a test they gave it. I stayed at the store and got the contact from Apple on the line to talk to them and he said I needed a battery and provided a code for them to use to replace my battery. They said the code wasnt showing up in their system and wouldnt order my battery or help me get my computer fixed. I was at the store for over 2 hours and couldnt get them to order my battery. Took the Mac to another provider in my area code today and no problem whatsoever with ordering my battery. Will NOT use Simply Mac and if I cant get into the other provider in town when I need future help, I will drive to Kansas City or St. Louis to an Apple Store before I go through that experience again. I too would give no stars or negative stars if I could.

I feel bad giving 3 stars.... the salesman was amazing. In fact everyone there was very helpful.... but the product I bought for $50 bucks, was/is trash. I know they say you get what you pay for but if that dollar amount has moved from cheap to $50 y’all need to reconsider what you put if your shelves.... no a good business move at all. But seriously every thing else was spot on.

Honestly I am not very pleased with my experience here. I have an iphone 7 plus which stopped working due to some internal issue (would not turn on/charge). The same one I had taken in to the store previously for a different issue. They ran diagnostics on the phone, or attempted to, and nothing came of it. I essentially paid $20 for them to tell me they could not fix my phone. It was a waste of time and money
