I found them very hard to deal with.it took them along time to get back to me. they will try always possible to deny a claim. any claim they have to repair could take a few months for approval regardless if its a essential item or not. i suggest anyone not to purchase it!!!!!!!!!

Dropped off a camera to be repaired at the end of November. Product was sent to cannon for repair. In return shipping it was destroyed by fedex. Things happen, that’s not my gripe.1. They should of called me to let me know my camera was destroyed... before I called them asking “where is my camera?”.2. Instead of me calling numerous times after that asking “What’s the status of my camera?” Someone there should of took the initiative and said let me call MY CUSTOMER and give him an update.So would I use them again..... probably not, for the reasons mentioned above.

I would give negative stars if I was able to. DO NOT TRUST THIS PACK OF LIARS! I sent my laptop into them for repairs in September and when I got it back in October, they cracked the back base with a Flathead screwdriver and then tried to blame the crack on me that was not there when I sent it back in the second time! I shipped it back to them a few months later to fix the fan, processor, graphics card and WiFi card because the unit was overheating badly along with acting sluggishly when I did anything on it. They tried to force me to take a reimbursement, gave me the run around, lied to me several times Kathleen, claimed that the problem was from software issues when it was not, did not re seat the face plate around the keyboard properly, ate over my laptop while working on it, left visible gouges from prying the face plate off with a flat head screwdriver and to top it all off, they tried to pry the speaker grill off! Words cannot begin to describe how infuriated and disgusted I am about how they damaged my laptop, expected me to believe their lies without asking questions and tried to blame me for their clueless along with dense techs not knowing what they are doing when I spotted their sickeningly amateur screw ups and called them on it! You are better off getting a warranty through Square Trade, they are competent!

This place isn’t trustworthy. They won’t handle any business during the Chinese flu. I understand closing your doors for business but you can’t close the store entirely. Bad business. Now I’m stuck waiting for you guys to open so I can ask for my camera back and give you guys zero business. I can’t give them my business after having to go out and buy a new camera to continue my business. The worst part was I got zero calls or emails letting me know they would be closing for the nonsense, shows a lack of respect for there customers. I got a generic email apologizing about the inconvenience when I emailed them requesting for my camera back, found it very unprofessional.Please don’t respond with how sorry you are. End of the day actions speak louder than words, and I don’t want to hear about the Chinese flu being the excuse for bad business. MERICA!

We are very happy with Mack retail and video service! We have used Mack for new purchases and repairs for years now and currently have 15 canon c-100 cameras under Mack warranty. Recently we needed audio and lens repairs on several of them at the same time. The repairs were done correctly and quickly! Our Mack representative Theresa was phenomenal in making it happen and keeping us up to date. In my 15 years of managing studios and equipment in NYC I have yet to find a facility this efficient or a representative so well-informed. Theresa is now helping us purchase another fleet of cameras and accessories.

I needed to have my camera looked at under a Mack Warranty and called ahead of time to make sure that this would work out for today.I showed up this past Tuesday, Aug 4, 2020, in the throws of Hurricane Isaias around 2 pm.As I entered the store, I was given a friendly greeting from the back room, and as the service person was working their way out, the electricity went off.The service person identified herself as Destinee (Montaserio)I would not have been surprised if I would have been told to come back after the power returns. However, I did travel over 30 minutes in difficult conditions, and Destinee asked me to wait a moment, and she brought out her own personal laptop from the back and took down all of my information, so she could upload it when the power came up.. I asked her how she was getting an internet connection, and she replied that she gave herself a hotspot from her own phone.I was very impressed that Destinee did not let anything stop her.. not lack of lights or power; not the lack of internet ! She also e-mailed me a receipt and work order.Hoping that I will be receiving another confirmation that the camera has been sent out for evaluation, and that the future repairs will be covered under warranty, but so far, I am very impressed that Destinee, as an employee of Mack Camera, has gone way above and beyond. I went in to repair a Sony G lens that wasn’t working properly after being dropped. The staff was polite and did several tests before taking it in for an estimate. They offered a fair price (pricy but still a lot cheaper than having to buy a replacement) and got it back to me in working condition after about 1 week.

I have an old film camera and yesterday the shutter stopped working. I was told to come to Mack from the usual camera store I go to, Unique Photo since they dont fix cameras. I came to Mack and told Theresa (the kind lady who helped me up front) what I thought was wrong. Im going camping tomorrow and need my camera for the trip and asked if they could fix it that day. She said they usually dont do same day fixes but she would ask. Five short minutes later Theresa came out with my camera. The shutter was fixed and my role of film in tact. I can easily say I am a happy camper and will definitely come back and develop my film from Mack from now on.

While on vacation I ran into problems with my Nikon D3100 but waited until I got home to get it repaired. I was recommended to Mack Camera at the place I originally bought it and was very glad that I took my camera there. I dropped it off last Saturday at 1:55 pm afraid that I would be rushed since they close at 2:00 pm on Saturday. I was met at the counter by a friendly, patient and extremely knowledgeable young lady named Theresa. She took time to speak with me and to answer all of my questions until past closing time. She promised to have the camera checked out and serviced for a very reasonable price. I was delighted to receive a call on Wednesday saying the Nikon was ready for pick-up at the quoted cost. Theresa mentioned her students in conversation and I found out she also teaches photography classes at the store. I have just finished my third lesson and I already have learned much more than I ever had in the two other photography classes I attended previously. This is a great store and Theresa is a fabulous teacher! Highly Recommended!!!

I own two Mack digital camera warranties for different camera bodies and lenses.When I had an issue with my Sony a77II, I sent it to Sony who sent it to Precision Camera for repair. The issue came back after the warranty repair period had expired. Neither Sony nor Precision Camera would even attempt to help me. I will never do business with Precision Camera ever again.Ive found Mack Warranty to be fast, efficient, and very friendly.If you have a choice, buy the five year instead of the three year.Thank you Mack Worldwide Warranty!

Went to get my Tamron lens serviced (which I purchased from Mack) under manufacturer warranty and Mack assisted in processing my claim. They sent it back to the company as a courtesy for me thus eliminating shipping fees and made sure I got the lens back in a timely manner so that I could continue working. The staff are friendly, informative and helpful and I look forward to doing business with them again in the future. I even went to their presentation on Travel Photography with Ron Wyatt last night which was OUTSTANDING! This is the second educational opportunity theyve offered that Ive attended and Im glad to see them moving in this direction. We need local photography educational offerings. Thanks Mack. Re: Work Order # 333672. In the old days, cameras and lenses were very reliable, but today I believe that a Mack Warranty is essential. Digital cameras and lenses contain very complex electronics, sensors and servos, and Ive had equipment failures a few times over the past 7 years that were not damage related. Mack has been there for me every time. Well, to be clear, the last time I bought a camera and lens, I decided NOT to buy the lens warranty-- thinking whats to go wrong with a lens? Well, while in Italy, the lens would only work at the wide angle setting--it would not zoom. I sent it to Mack, thinking it was covered, but they politely advised me that only my camera was covered but they would repair it for a fee, which I thought was VERY reasonable. It has been fine ever since. Thank you, Mack!

Serviced my camera for a sensor cleaning. seems to be taking shots better than when it was brand new! generally looks like a great store to get photography gear, prices are competitive and you have a place that knows the ins and outs of your camera (and lenses) to up keep them and fix it if anything goes wrong.

How many times do you reluctantly go for the extended warranty on a product...never to use it, or if you do try, the problem youre having is not covered??? This was NOT the case with my experience with Mack Camera Service. The service people at Mack where very helpful and kind. The shipping was easy, and I was very satisfied with my experience. As soon as a buy a new camera I make sure and buy a Mack warranty for it. I have Mack warranties for all of my film and digital cameras and could not be more pleased with the service. My cameras have been repaired to my satisifaction numerous times. In addition, with the Diamond service, Mack has professionally serviced and cleaned my cameras as well. They really know how to service customers who take pride in their photography and therefore the proper function and operation of their cameras. Work Order # 327203.

My TV just stopped turning on. I called Samsung and they offered to have someone come to my home, and that I would receive a call in 1 to 2 business days to schedule an appointment. Within 10 minutes I had a call from Mack Camera, and they had a guy out in less than an hour! I believe it was Luis that came, and he was fast, nice and did a great job! Im glad I now know of Mack Camera, and will use them in the future! (RE: Work order 383241).

I sent Off my camera two months ago for repair and after numerous phone calls and times of being told that It will only take 7 days to repair, After the forth time of being told it will only take seven days I called asked to speak to a superior only to be greeted by a voice mail. My call from the supervisor and my gear have still not been returned. I shoot canon for weddings and events and I will only buy the Canon drops and spills warranty from now on along with CPS Membership. I feel so stupid for for doing business with this company.-I just received a voice mail from the supervisor and he briefly said that there was unspecified issue that prevented the repair. Also that he would expedite the repair and try to have it out by the end of the day.-Its been a week since my voice mail and I just received my camera. Instantly upon Inspection I noticed the lcd flicks on and off (In a way that I have never seen a camera flicker/not respond) and then gives an er code, when I hit the menu or image review button it just show a light black screen. I just got off the phone with cs and she wasnt surprised nor did not she offer any sort of apologize or show any sympathy/acknowledgement of the inconvenience that this is for everyone. She said she will send a new shipping label and we can start this all over again. Also at the very, very end of the conversation right before hanging up, almost as an after note she ask what was wrong with the camera/repair.

Maybe they are good with cameras, but do not get a television warranty with them. Go to SquareTrade instead and save yourself the hassle.The company will look for any way to get out of the contract you purchased with them.I live in a large metro area, and they are telling me there are no dealers within a 25 mile radius to honor my in-home repair. So now I am stuck with a 64 television, that is my responsibility (and cost) to transfer to their nearest repair center. Horrible experience. They should take Worldwide out of their name if this is the case.

Gary blamed me for misinformation about a business phone line I owned for 20 years...and also quoted me 5.00 for shipping my product. Upon paying the bill, he then said that it was a $20.00 fee for shipping . Used them in past, but you may want to ask for a different salesman other than Gary. Other stores would acknowledge their error, apologize and waive the difference because it was their error in the quote... not simply say disregard, the price I gave you... the new price is $20.00. Doesnt gain my confidence for future sales.

Mack Camera made repairing my Samsung LED TV so easy. I called Samsung and they put me in contact with Steve from Mack. My first impression was nothing short of great because he was able to send a service tech in less than 2 days to evaluate the problem. When the service tech arrived he was very courteous and I could definitely tell he knew what he was doing. Exactly one week later the part was in and they installed it in less that 20 minutes. Steve and Mack camera definitely have a great business and great employees that I would definitely let back in my house again. I was actually so impressed with the service tech I called Steve to let him know what a great job he did. You have to be picky now a days, you are letting people into your most valuable investment, your home, to work on things you spent a lot of money on. It is refreshing to know, only a few towns over, I have a place, Mack Camera for my electronics repair needs. Highly Recommended. WO# 372031

Mack camera did a great job fixing my lens and cleaning my camera. Dust or lint found its way into my lens, which appeard in every photo I was taking. Mack camera removed it all.
