Ive been coming here since I was old enough to hold a fork myself. I love it. I am however upset with how they do their French toast now. It used to be good but I stick to my egg n grits and pancakes now. Nevertheless if you havent been here yet youre probably a tourist, and if so stop by it is worth it!

I Love this place the food is always great no complaints on anything servers are the sweetest and attentive definitely suggest for a real old school breakfast diner experience.

Brought my son for a little q.t. and we had a great breakfast, I personally cook for a living and couldnt make it better myself. Always one of my favorite breakfast places to go. They offer something for everyone and service was excellent.

Just like when I was younger. Family used to come home and visit from Marthas Vineyard, and wed all meet up for brunch. So glad to be back home! I loved it!

Fantastic Diner. Super friendly and efficient staff. The ham steak was great quality and over-easy eggs cooked just right. The rye toast was very good. The juke box throw back was very cool with fond memories. Easy access and ample parking.

Either breakfast or lunch this place takes you back with jute box music, friendly waitresses, and awesome food. Older style diner car with older style patrons. So many regulars, you feel like family as you eat the greatest food ever. Everything fresh and homemade. Eggs and grits to burgers and fries. Fast food like grams made.

Very disappointed! Im a breakfast lover and I live right around the corner from Route 66 Diner, so I was excited to try it out. I picked up breakfast sandwiches and homefries. First, the food was a bit overpriced ($20 for the three items). My sandwich (BLT, egg and cheese) was okay but the other sandwich (sausage, egg and cheese) was ruined because the sausage was extremely overcooked, dry and not something my guest wanted to eat. Definitely a let down.

The food was hot good portions and didnt take too long at all. I love the nostalgia of this place. They have mini juke boxes at each table that take quarters good selection of music. My only negative....the coffee was terrible.

First time there and thumbs up all around. The people working there and the patrons are super friendly. I order something that isnt exactly on the menu and they did it perfectly to my request. I will 100% go back again when I am in the area. 2 thumbs up

My friend and I enjoyed our breakfast very much...nice quiet atmosphere, a little juke box on the table for us to listen to oldies...just a chill relaxed Sunday morning...

Not bad food was good, only thing they did not have decaffeinated coffee, nevertheless there Folgers was on point..

We’ve been here a lot for breakfast and lunch. Super friendly staff that make everyone feel welcome. Good variety of food and drinks, and everything is fresh and cooked exactly the way you request it. Weather you want a simple hot dog or a full meal it’s plentiful and cooked well. I am amazed that they can make such a variety in such a small old fashioned diner. Not much to look at but clean and friendly atmosphere with old fashioned juke boxes that have a mixture of old and new music to sooth you.

One of my favorites too eat weekly! Staff is always friendly and the food is always good.

The best home cook breakfast. Every time I am in Springfield MA, I will be in the dinner of the famous grits and hot beef sausages, you will never leave hungry always full. Amazing place and the staff always great hospitality.

Route 66 has been a favorite spot of mine since high school...fast forward to 2020 and the chef forgot my salmon patties. When I called he said come on over...I got there and he made me a completely fresh order with extra everything 🙌🏾... I was truly amazed at the five star service and the breakfast was amAzing...😊

Tried this place for the 1st time the other day and wasnt impressed the food was just ok but the real issue was while I sat there and waited for my order I I literally seen every cook in the back eattin at 1 point either while they were cook and/or around the area where they were cooking! One cook actually had put a order of french toast in the window for pick up and was pointin/waving his bitten piece of egg/bread over the order while he bragged to the waitress about how good the french toast is! Thats a HUGE no no 4 me! Eat away from ur work area n out of site of ur customers and constintly wash hands! I will not return

Food was extremly delicious had Home fries which were delicous 1st time Am happy with my homefries had scrambled eggs wheat toast litely buttered. A burger steak with gravy and had the pleasure of listening to music from way bac in the days...if ive close by to Route66 do stop in and eat.. you wont regret it..

Route 66 is a throw back to memories of the good ol times. I enjoy the atmosphere and the service. Definitely make you feel like its one big family get together. If you take it upon yourself to stop in, which I recommend. Tip those hard working waitresses decently.👍

I had Eggs over easy, bacon and homefries. The eggs were perfect. Service was fast and the waitress was friendly. Good portions for the cost. Very budget friendly.

The food was good but the restaurant has an odour and needs to be remodeled. I dont know the financial situation of the owner but I would have enjoyed my experience better if the seats werent cracked among other things.

Its been a neighborhood Diner forever plus every one gets to know the staff and cooks there. Very courteous wait staff plus the cooks get the food out quickly.Very busy on the weekends,typically diner food and a great place to take a friendFor coffee and a breakfast sandwich.They also do take out.

Whew. That roadside burger will throw you into a good coma for 5 minutes and then get you going for the rest of the day. 12/5 stars best burger Ive ever had.

Today I had baked ham, corn and mashed potatoes with apple sauce and bread and butter for $7.45 including tax. How can you beat that! The staff always treat me like I am the most important customer! The owner is there every day, great place for breakfast and lunch!.

Hated it. The waitress gave me a whole racist vibe. Took my order and didnt ask the simplest breakfast questions such as what kind of bread would you like your toast how would you like your eggs she didnt even bring out our drink until the food came out. But still asked may I start you off wolith something to drink?

I love the food, always have but customer service is always a toss up. We sat for maybe 7 mins before being acknowledged and even then, the waitress just tossed the menus at us and walked away, didn’t say hello or ask about beverages. She rushed to the next table and said hello with a smile then offered drinks..... I had to ask for water before she rushed off because when she turned back around she didn’t even look in our direction. Had it not been for how much I love the food, we would’ve walked out.

Crystal the server is sweet lovely girl and one of the best servers i have ever had. But the food was horrible, over easy eggs were hard the water roll was burnt. The home fries were left over baked potatoes cookd so so much they no longer had flavor...soo i could not give a good ranking. This one star is for our ser er only.

The food use to be good . butt I act the waitress. to access to cook to put salt and pepper on it. before he cook it. he told me he didnt have time . time ..!!!didnt have time to put salt and pepper on a piece of liver really !!!(bomb)

Wen I proceeded to call back they never answered the phone again.... come on get it together guys... I come here all the time ... pisses me off 😲😲😲😲 I just want a nice mothers day breakfast...

I was less than thrilled with my breakfast. Coffee was warm at best. The plate & my cup looked like it has been around a long time. The waitress never asked how my breakfast was, or if I wanted a refill on my coffee. I was very very disappointed. I wont be back anytime soon.

Dont take any cards. Bacon was deep fried. Kids didnt enjoy the food.

Comfort food at a comfortable price.

I had the two eggs bacon hash browns and rye toast. And Diet Coke. The toast was super buttery and it was the best toast Ive had. The bacon was great and crispy, and the scrambled eggs were actual eggs and not that stuff out of a carton. The waitress was attentive and pretty cool. The seeburg consolettes however were not available on Sunday which was extremely disappointing. Food 5 out of 5. Killer for a diner. I wish I owned this place thank you.

The worst breakfast Ive ever had. The service was lackluster at best. The plate it was served on & the coffee cup, both looked like they have been around for a long time. Ther waitress never asked me how my breakfast was, nor asked me if I wanted more coffee.
