Employees seemed to have a good time. And will even take turns buying product if they have enough to share with each other, it has good vibes and seems like a great place if you like community.

Super rude and management needs some work. Ive been calling that gamestop for months now to aquire info on getting a job there and on every call i was put on hold for over 30 minutes and a couple of times over an hour,and the hiring managers excuse was she forgot. If the memory of the manager is really that bad then maybe they should consider finding someone capable of handling that position.

Overall my experience was pretty average. Staff was definitely polite, but the selection of some games was low. Will return in the future.

Always got updated stock in switch, xbox, playstation games and accessories. Lebanon mo location is better for switch accessories but the amount of games in the springfield locaton is far superior. All the stores have different stock for the most part. Except for the heinous amount of marvel merich. But Im biased. Iron man forever

Im not a gamer but I do purchase games for my autistic son and the times I have been there the staff have been very helpful and friendly. And although there are an unbelievable number of games there they seem to know what each one is about.

Absolutely worst customer service! I understand it was busy but the way the rep handled my transaction was absolutely unacceptable! Didn’t greet us as we walked up to the counter, told us nothing about the game. Told us our total and asked if we wanted a bag. Nothing else was said! Other reps were taking with the customers giving great service and being a great help. Never going back.

Every time I come in here I receive great and friendly personal service. One of the guys turned me on to a game called the forest after taking at least 20 minutes of his time looking for games for me and chit chatting about my gaming preferences. I feel bad that I dont remember his name but he has that light frosted hair. You know who you are dude lol. Gamestops Glenstone location is by far the best that I have ever encountered in a gaming store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The selection is great. The store is clean and well lit as is the parking lot. The store has a selection of refurbished items as well including games, and phones. The store also offers gift cards.

I got some used VR controllers, and they made it seem like they would be $45 for the set, but they were $45 per controller. Thats only $10 less than the original price without tax. Im still super excited to use them, though!!

Overall welcoming environment. They usually get pretty busy in my experience but never fail to help each customer and get everyone serviced in a timely manner. Like all gamestops, their resale prices suck, but hey... thats the price you pay for security and professionalism.

I walked into the store today and there were two sets of employees that were talking to each other. I walked up to the marked location for next customers so I could get some questions answered and after about 20-30 seconds one person looked at me and said “We will be right with you” and walked off.Another person walked up to the register without getting in line and one of the other employees instantly walked over to them and asked what they needed. I turned around and went to Best Buy and made my purchases there.I used to spend a lot of money at this location but after my last couple experiences I will spend my money at other stores.

The variety of games is kinda low, friendly staff on hand with a high IQ for games. But you feel that you are being doubled crossed when you look at the price of the games on hand when it comes to used games.

Honestly, never had any issue with Gamestop but especially never with this location. Even though most games are digital now a days you can still physical copies or buy the digital copy at GameStop to earn rewards. Ive got the Pro rewards and, seriously, worth it. Guys they give you $5 coupons every month but discounts. If you dont want the games themselves theyve got a pretty good selection of merch at very reasonable prices. Plus accessories like headsets, controllers, theyve even got keyboards and cameras and the occulus quest now. Honestly, people say GameStop is a dying breed but I disagree I think they can reimagine and get those merch sales going and cater to some pc players and streamers and theyll be golden. Once the pandemic is over, Im looking forward to a good old GameStop Midnight Release party. I dont think GameStop has to die just because the world is digital I think theyve got the capability of evolving and continuing to give power to the players. I may be a small streamer but Im still loyal to GameStop. Something about that place just feels like home.

I want to give recognition to Jordan. He assisted me and he was awesome. He was very helpful, patient, had good advice and was just generally pleasant. The location was out of both things I wanted (despite saying online they were in stock) so I couldve easily left there feeling frustrated but he made the visit stick out for me as a positive due to my interaction with him.

Not much help on older game systems more for the big buck on whats out now was not impressed

Saw they were having a special, so I proceeded to pick the titles to qualify for said special. This older employee comes out of no where and immediately tried to sell my wife on Pop Vinyl. She said multiple times that she wasnt interested but didnt get the hint. Then he started rambling about other stuff even though it was obvious she was trying to walk away from the conversation. Because he would just let it go we left. If this is how they do business then I say screw that, never coming back or bother going to the other locations in this state.

The customer service here is great. Their 1800 customer support line is terrible.The in person staff at the glenstone store is awesome. Pre-ordered AC Valhalla and received the wrong edition. The glenstone store took care of it no problem. The 1800 customer support line would not answered my questions and said I needed to mail it back and when they received the would mail out the correct one. 7-10 day turnaround for something I pre-ordered to enjoy on launch day. They werent the nicest those kids they actually were too busy talking amongst themselves to even acknowledge what we were needing then when they did go get it their conversation kept going not a goodbye not a thank you not a high nothing its crazy we had to interrupt with them very rude

My sister and I stopped in looking for a replacement Wii remote. The staff was really nice and helped us quickly. The store was clean and organized and that made finding what we needed way easier. 5 stars if the price had been a little more reasonable given the condition of the used remote we purchased. Overall I would still recommend!

While I was waiting outside for the ps5 preorders I was second in line and they only had nine, so after waiting HOURS the guy came out giving papers to preorder and the tenth guy said I wasn’t there so the GameStop employee took my preorder paper and gave it to him. He literally ripped the paper from my hand.

I ordered a product bundle online. The bundle pictured a console, game, spare controller, accessories, and a case. The product description also said it included a $50 gift card. After receiving my order confirmation, I noticed they changed the line items to separate the gift card. I called to confirm the bundle was correct, and told it was not available and they would be cancelling my order. The next day the order was not cancelled, and they had not released my funds. Since there was another sale for the item in the coming days, I called to confirm my funds would be released, or the bundle shipped. During this call I was told my items had shipped. Finally, I received an e-mail (after the sales) stating the picture was wrong, and I was only getting the Console and Gift Card. To compensate, they would provide a code for my choice of game. I called and they refused to send the additional controller, or make any other reparations. The representative seemed to believe the game (that was already supposed to be included), should be enough. I feel they waited until after the other sales to prevent me from getting a better deal.

I needed a new gaming console and they told me to blow mine out and see if it would work before buying a new one. ( not many people would Offer this advice instead of selling you another one) . I have bought games and Accessories and have been pleased with them all and the price.

Poor customer service. Came in looking for one product, waited for single employee to finish convo with bored housewife, take multiple phone calls, and service people who came in after me. She still didnt give me the time of day.

Went at 4PM they were closed with no explanation. Went at 7PM same day they were closed with no explanation. Drove to Springfield and they did not have what we wanted. Ended up buying from Walmart.

Just the last two times alone I was there, I was given the wrong game I paid for (then told I was SOL on getting it too), and then the next while I was waiting they allowed at least two people to blatantly cut in front of me in the line.Will definitely choose a different location or EntertainMart next time.
