I placed an order online for pick up the night before and got a email stating it was ready so the following morning I get there there’s a line of traffic no workers out there just people sitting in their cars waiting for someone. So I go in and the guy working was trying to find someone else’s order that had been misplaced and nobody’s putting any effort to go fast or get help in this department and he finally picked my order and it’s wrong and I had to go get the right materials on the opposite end of the store my self due to my limited time schedule. As I walk through the store to get my materials there was plenty of people facing shelves and doing nothing that could’ve helped . I just want to say their order pick up is a joke and none of the employees give a hoot.

Manager was super nice and helpful. I wasnt able to get the bathtub/shower faucet I wanted because they were out of stock at both stores in town, but I did end up purchasing a better quality Delta for $50 more. The price comparison on bath faucets right now puts Menards equal or cheaper than Home Depot and cheaper prices across the board as compared to Lowes. The better prices come into play after counting in the 11% rebate. I love my rebate checks. They always make me feel like Im getting a great price on stuff. And sometimes they are big enough that I can get my entire purchase paid for with the rebate. Rebates do take a little time to come in the mail, so you have to be patient and they can only be used to purchase items in the store, not resealable for cash. Bummer.

Great prices that beat all competitors. The interior is so organized and easy to find. The employees are always ready to help and get me what I need. The pickup stations are simple to understand and best I’ve ever seen. Overall, best distributor for all your needs and wants.

Menards is ok. As a builders store its not as good as Lowes but its got a lot of stuff for the urban handy people. I hate how the entrance is so far from the exit, especially on a rainy day.

Amazing customer service. They went out of their way to help me. I am not a contractor or a construction worker, but I can assure you the individuals here are knowledgeable and very much willing to help. I would encourage everyone who is looking for home or appliance needs to make sure to visit this establishment. It is second to none.

Well for one if you’re not with a child, or a woman, expect for them to follow you around like you have stolen there 100 times…rather than of shop there 100 times. Also expect to not be helped if you don’t. Save big money when you go to Menards keep your self worth and respect when you don’t.

Sometimes very difficult getting Building material. You have to walk to back of store to place order. Pay, drive around back of building. Then pray for help to be Available. Be sure to bring a drink it is hot in this building outside!

Menards is such a fun place to shop. They have everything you can think of and more! I wish we had one closer to Tulsa!

We live about 30 miles from this location, needed to bring 25ft trlr for todays purchases,so we called, ahead reached your Team member from lawn and garden, a very helpful and respectful gentleman that went not only out of his department but physically laid eyes on product we were needing, we could hear on the phone that the desk person in building supplies was very unhelpful to the lawn and garden worker. He went out and seen that there were plenty of what we was coming up for. But, when we drove up and went to the building supplies not only did we hear nope dont have that, from very rude person and not helpful, so we walked out to lumber area and found what had called about and drove up for.When we went to get the loading ticket, same counter person, not very friendly still, kind of smartellick to us. The lawn & garden employee should get a 5+ rating.

Why isnt there a negative star or zero star rating? Every single time I have purchased anything from Menards it has been a horrible experience. This last time was the final nail in the coffin. I even ordered online in hopes that I could avoid this horrible customer service but it still went horribly wrong. The motto at Menards seems to be, oh go to... And its always a different counter or area in the store. No one takes any responsibility for any section in that store. When I asked for a manager the gentleman literally stood there and stared at me like I was speaking another language and never got the manager???!! I walked away and seriously shouted, can no one help me? And no one even looked my direction. Hate this store. Never again.

Asked 3 different employees where an item was that was on the latest mailout. Only 1 tried. But the directions were vaugh & I looked & looked. Finally gave up. Their customer service today was lousy !

We dont have this chain of home improvement store where I live, so we always love to stop by when were passing through Springfield. The selection is unbeatable and it would take hours to just to browse everything available. The lighting section is easily 4 times as big as Lowes or Home Depot with every design you can imagine. They also have groceries, a great selection of coffee, and snacks/candies youll have difficulty finding anywhere else. Certain times they also have an automatic mail in rebate of 11% to help you save money.

So they dont care about military 1st responders police or firefighters Home depot or Lowes will at least give you a 10% discount and they help you out Menards just does not care I will never shop here again And I did not purchase anything I let them put it all backup. They are not cheaper i was seeing if they will price match and they do not!! Dont waste your time go to other stores which are cheaper

Worst experience ever in my life. I went to return some toilet paper, long story short i overbought toilet paper for me and my hubby. I HAD my receitp, but it didn t matter because i wanted CASH. Even though I had PROOF OF THE PURCASE, they refused to give me cash. I talked to Mary, the most unprofesional employee iv e ever experience. She told me i needed to CALM DOWN?:!??!??!??!??!??? Never shoopping here agAIN!!!!11!! BECAUSE OF MAARY .

Very interesting store! I came from out of town and never heard of Menards. From what I saw, it seemed like an interesting cross between Lowes and a small grocery store.

The store was nice and clean, the employees were very nice and helpful, but... The store is layed out so poorly! Its so hard to find anything. I cant believe the lay out! I was unaware they sold groceries, so that was a nice surprise... Their prices were also a nice surprise compared to Walmart on almost all the things I looked at. I would have definitely given 5 stars on how nice everything was, but again, I just cant get passed at how poorly the lay out is.

I will never order on line anymore. I will pay the extra $20 at Home Depot to get my order within a week. Waiting for an order to go to the store and have to wait 2 weeks for it no thank you. Guess they only do their order every 2 weeks. If they told me that from the beginning I would have went some place else or have order to my house if that was faster. Lesson learned not to order it on line cause it takes forever to get. If I could get a hold of someone to cancel it that would of been awesome too.

Went to Menards and shopped for an hour and a half, no mask. I was the only person in the store with no mask. The guy at the front is the only person that said I needed a mask. Went to check out with miscellaneous items and a 30 gallon air compressor. Lady at check out said I needed a mask to purchase items. I left the air compressor on the cart, didn’t buy it and left the store. Menards has a beautiful store, well laid out, great selection, friendly staff, good prices, etc. All that does not matter to me if I cannot buy the compressor. I will continue to shop at Menards once they remove the mask policy. I’m a Home Depot guy primarily.

One of our all time favorite stores. We used to live with alot of menards around us. And now we have to drive 70 mi to get to one but thats okay we still love going to Menards. This one set up a little differently than other ones weve been to but other than that still the same store have everything you need and most of the time is cheaper.

Excellent store and wonderful amount of stock and more than enough options for anything they carry, most items are available for immediate purchase and pickup. The staff is friendly and welcoming during the shopping experience. The store can be very busy at times, but they sanitize between customers at checkout and a mask is required for customers to enter the store. Will return and I highly recommend.

I ordered some retaining blocks online for pickup. I got sent across the store three times, only to wait as the poor forklift guy drove around for 20 minutes to discover they were out. Then I was sent to the wrong desk to get my money back.

Normally I prefer to go full name brand on certain items. This year I got in on their Spring sale and grabbed some of the Pittsburgh Ultra stain/sealer in redwood. Our decks had a heavy layer of fi is on them that needed to be removed as much as possible and our wood siding was badly sun bleached.I was pleasantly surprised by this product. Posting a photo of our deck, wall, and sun bleached bench so you can see what it looks like now.

Im supportive of the mask mandate and glad they enforce it. I had slipped in on a slow day to get some items and simply forgot my mask. There was no one at the front to enforce it or provide one, so I went on in to grab 2 items. I was stopped after about 5 minutes and told I had to go get one. The employee was not polite about it and didnt walk me to the front. When I got to the front, I saw no masks and the people at customer service didnt even look at me for about 5 minutes. I finally found a bag of masks behind a sign and grabbed one and finished up my shopping. I also couldnt find anyone to help me for quite a while. Good job supporting the mandate, but very poor customer service.

A lot of stuff is cheaper than Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. My hubby & I have spent about 3.5 hours in the E Chestnut location & still havent been through the entire store! Some great deals & not quite as great deals... Overall, LOVE THIS STORE!!!

Very nice store, clean, bright, friendly employees. Loved the displays throughout the store and variety of things they have. The key kiosk is cool but a little expensive $2-$3 per key. I believe the yard where you pick up lumber outside should have signs. We were picking up wood and we were told to go to the 2nd door, it was ok to locate since it was 9pm and not a lot of people but I think having big clear signs outside just like inside would help. Also, they have some awesome shopping carts where the kids can sit in their own car :)

This store is great! The selection is excellent, the prices are great, but I have to give a special shout out to John P., who helped us with our particularly difficult special order countertops. Our house was built in the 70’s and our kitchen countertops are not “standard” depth which caused problems. He was so patient with us and gave great feedback and suggestions for solutions that we had not even have thought of! Very knowledgeable! Highly recommend!

Favorite place to shop in Springfield. Everything you could possibly need with the most helpful staff anywhere. Plus, theyre safe! From potting soil to mattress sets to groceries and lumber and everything in between.

So as far as Menards go they are great except when masked were required. My husband has a rare case of bilateral Trigeminal neuralgia and would not allow him to check out without a mask during the pandemic one day he needed a tarp when his face was literally electro shocked from his damaged nerve shearing being removed from an artery pressing against it. Thats my only complaint he even had a note from his neurologist. Since then he has had his second surgery MVD and has went there twice due to location of store.

I did a small order online of 3 items as a pick up order. In this covid era, everyone is now doing orders by pick up & most are curbside. At Menards you are charged an order processing fee to do this. I noticed the $1.40 charge on my receipt when I picked up my items. This is the last time I do this and probably will stay away from Menards when I can literally go anywhere else in Springfield MO & do an online order to pick up no additional fee. This might be the last time Menards gets my business.

Ive been to 3 different Menards stores over the last few years and NONE of them have ever gotten an order right the first time. The Branson store seems to do a little better than either Springfield store, but I still have to double check every time and always find an issue

I attempted to enter the Springfield Mo Menards but because I did not have a mask an employee blocked my way. I explained that I have a condition that exempts me but she said that I would have to shop online, that to enter the store I would have to wear a mask. I strongly disapprove of this policy and the attitude shown in enforcing it. I will not be back. Lowe’s or Home Depot will get my business, since they are more respectful and considerate.

Unfortunately the employees act as if they are afraid of you, no doubt cultivated by the strictly enforced restrictions. I wandered the plumbing aisle for nearly an hour, was passed by multiple employees, and not a single one asked if I needed assistance.

Really like the store and its product line, mostly hardware and garden stuff. The store blends a great variety of of grocery and gift items which allows me to cut back on my driving, saves time. Sure wish they would show or do something special for veterans, other big boxers do!

Im a new diy person 1st off..i had a list of what i needed 1st location didnt have it. Went to second eastside springfield mo location they had stock told them im new to company dont know how, where ,when to load lumber. Was told inside outside lumber section would help. Got my ticket went to gate. I had no idea what i was doing, a badly tatood employee watched me struggle with reciept to lift gate and laughed as i figured it out. Then figuring out where my lumber was a stoned dude with dreds said yeah u go through there then halfway youll see your wood. After 10 min of looking i called inside irrate. Stoner dude shows up polite and helps me load.but why should i search 4 the right lumber when i stated i have no idea what wood i payed for. I should have been directed way better without an inside embarrassing call I felt like no one cared i spent so much money at their buisness. In the future love ur 1st time diyers theyll come back be better then lowes so far home depot has deff been the most helpful

Its awesome on the selection of stuff here. There is always something that is not normally anywhere else or at the same place. I bought milk, a few totes and some grass spray. Having groceries here make it easy for one stop. Plus it is always just fun to walk around and look at everything. The lumber type selection and brick, rock are too many to choose from almost.

We asked them too hold something in the front and some how we waited 30 min for them too tell us that they cant find it good job menards

It started out a little rough asked for help from a older man he went to get someone and no one never came than I stopped a worker she answered questions and directed us to someone for the help we were needing it finally turned out good.

I love Menards! Whats not to love??!? We built our house almost entirely from Menards products. Customer service is spectacular - I could safely buy extras just to make sure we had enough and then return what we didnt need. Wonderfully helpful employees.

Clean, very little foot traffic, and helpful employees if you have a question. We went on a Saturday night and it was not busy. We didnt have to wait in line to check out, so that was nice.

I really want to love this company, but multiple bad encounters at this store have made us resign to no longer shop here. If one of their employees makes a mistake, they will invalidate your experience and refuse to help. Additionally, the manager who helped me today had her mask beneath her nose the whole time she was helping me- seems odd they enforce this for customers but not employees (and I am pro-mask.)

My wife and me have been shopping at Menard ever since we moved to the Springfield mo area. Love there store probably spend about 5000 dollars there last year. Now that the maskandate is no longer in force in Springfield we went to shop there and were td to wear a mask I will no longer shop there but will be shopping at home depot os Lowes were I dont have to wear mask.

DO NOT Purchase shop buildings from them , purchased shop from them when time comes to assemble ALOT of materials missing had to spend another $5000, the price they show when you design on their website is way off, managers are making this our fault somehow, save your self money and time buy somewhere else.

Not a fan of how it is so scattered. And I think all the employees were having a bad day. I had to ask where items were and all 3 people that I asked acted like they were annoyed.

The young man Mason is very pleasant and helpful. He goes above and beyond in helping.

Dont trust the online quantities vs actual store quantities. They are usually off and the employees are not that friendly or helpful. I prefer the west Springfield store. Plus they are out of stuff all the time. I had to go to two different stores to get items they said they had and they didnt.

Never go back they can have all 11% of someone elses money. In store by my self no one even with in 50ft of me and employee ran me down to have me pull my mask up from below my nose! I had to pull it down to just below my nose so I could see to read the package and my glasses where fogging up. I have been in Lowes many times in Springfield in the last month with no mask and no one said a thing. MENARDS can give it a rest!

Wow this place is fantastic.

Great place to save some money on tools and materials. Not always super easy to find stuff made in the U.S. but they have some and they work as well as some of the bigger brand names, which they also have a few of. Overall theyre worth a look, especially if youve never been.

Store worker tried really hard to help me but the poor guy didnt know much more about the coax cables I was needing help with than I did. Lol Also the crimper I picked to buy was priced at $16 on the rack but rang up for $30 at the register. This is not the 1st or even 2nd time this has happened on an item to me. Always make sure to check your ticket for accurate sale and other pricing. I have found that if the price differs they will give you the price on display, but you have to be the one to point it out. Tonight I ended up not buying the item because the checker just kept ringing it up and saying well this item rings up for $30. I told him I didnt want it tonight and Id come back tomorrow and look for a cheaper model. (I was there at store closing time.) Other than that, a positive experience overall and I will definitely continue to shop at Menards, I just have to remember to be diligent on checking and double checking what Im charged for things.
