Ive had nothing but great experiences with the team at the Springfield shop. As a woman rider, its unfortunately a rare occurrence to not get mansplained about bike maintenance and bike shopping. Whether they have done tire swaps, replaced derailleurs, changed out my frame, packed one of my bikes for travel, the service has been great and not once have I ever been talked down to by the sales or mechanics staff at Bicycle Pro Shop. Theyve even tolerated me asking a gazillion questions and obsessing over new bikes during the pandemic when no one could even get any. Andre has been especially patient and helpful and ultimately located my dream full suspension bike! I was really happy to give them all my money. LOLz. They are not the closest bike shop to me, but I wont go anywhere else.

We have bought 2 Santa Cruz bikes from here in the last couple of years. Their staff and service is amazing and we always enjoy visiting the shop. Quality bikes and service!

What a great experience and nice group of people! Walked in today needing some minor fixes on my wifes bike. They were literally able to jump on it while we were there, scoped the bike, let me know what to keep an eye out for, and in 5-10 minutes we were on our way. Really first class experience and everyone was friendly. Having had less than stellar experiences at another bike shop, we know where to go now!

Bike was ordered to their shop. They built it and had it ready for me on delivery day. Great service. Had the bike adjusted and they were super friendly and helpful (specifically the mechanic with flower hamsa neck tattoo. I didnt catch his name).

My experience here was the best Ive had at a bike shop in the NOVA area for quite some time. Other places I have been to recently seem to want you in and out the door as quickly as possible, but not here. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They made me feel welcome, and made sure that I understood the features of my bike before walking it out to my car for me. These are the kind of people that you want to see running a bike shop. Even though this location is on the opposite side of the county from me, I will be returning in the future.

I dropped off my bike recently and was happy the issue was resolved by a tune up. I had my bike back in less than a week.

As a new rider, I was out of my comfort zone when looking for the right bike for me. All of that changed once I went to the Bicycle Pro Shop! Andre (I believe that is his name) and the other staff were all extremely patient, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable when helping me through the process. I felt that I learned more from them in the short time talking to the staff than the hours/days of research that I have done online and at other bike stores.The staff was so friendly and ensured to find me the perfect bike for the right price. The time and attentiveness they provided made it such an enjoyable experience. I honestly could not go to another bike store after the experience I have had with them. I recently moved into the neighborhood. I came in to the store tonight for a part that I found they didnt carry. The guy at the register didnt hesitate to look it up and text me the link. They have definitely found a new customer for life.

We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with this bike shop. This spring we bought an intro mountain for our 8year old son and after a week’s time, decided to come back for a bike for my husband and myself so we could go on some socially distanced adventures as a family. They gave us an awesome deal, have always friendly, accommodating, and willing to explain things in a straightforward way. We’ve been really happy with our bikes and when my son had some shifting issues (due to a few crash landings and lots of “super big jumps” off a homemade ramp... *sigh*), there was no trouble getting it fixed—easy peasy.We recently inherited an older Specialized bike from a neighbor who was moving and was about to throw it away because didn’t want to deal with it (both tires were flat, lots of rust from being in storage a long time). To see if it was worth revitalizing, I brought it to the shop for an assessment. Garrett was very knowledgeable and helpful—pumped up the tires, lubed up the chain, confirmed that brakes and shifting gear worked, and let us know what we could expect to pay for replacement if parts with rust went bad (and which parts were going to be tough to replace due to shortages with the high demand for bikes during the pandemic). We will always return to this shop for our bike needs and gear because the staff have always met or exceeded our expectations for customer service. Enthusiastic 5 stars!

I bought a Cannondale Quick Carbon from their Georgetown store in 2018. Last fall, the seat mount failed and I took the bike to them looking for a replacement part. Over the course of several months, they ordered 3 different parts (all of which did not fit) only to find out that Cannondale no longer made the seat mount for that model. Andre arranged for Cannondale to replace the entire frame with a Synapse (which seems crazy since only the seat mount was broken) and they moved the existing components from the old frame onto the new one at no labor charge. This is outstanding customer service!About the only negative is that - like many bike shops - their new inventory is decimated due to COVID demand. But if you need your bike serviced, these guys are awesome! I will continue to use the Springfield store for all service/tuneups and highly recommend them for new purchase once inventory stock comes back up.

So accommodating! I reserved a demo bike, but when I arrived to pick it up, the previous person had not yet returned it. This was very inconvenient, but the shop made it right! They let me try a couple different bikes next door at Wakefield while I waited, and then they waived my demo fee when my reserved bike was finally returned later that day. I SUPER appreciated how they turned what I thought was going to be a bad experience into one that actually worked out much to my benefit in the long run! I left as a satisfied customer. Go check them out, ride some of their demo bikes so you can try before you buy, and say hi to Stella the shop dog while youre there :)

I have been coming to Bike Pro Shop for the last year. They are hands down the most knowledgeable, friendly, honest staff I have encountered in the nearly 20 years of mountain biking in the region. In my opinion, they know mountain bikes better than any shop in the NOVA region. They recently overhauled my bike, rebuilding the fork, drivetrain, tires, saddle, (essentially built me a new bike) and the level of detail they took in ensuring that my bike was ready to go was great. They were upfront with their costs and talked me through in detail the options what what made the most sense for my bike. I am never disappointed in the work that Zach and his guys do. In short, bring your bike here, you wont regret it.

This place makes you want to ride. Great and friendly customer service. Bikes and accessories from $10 - $5K. ...probably more expensive than that if you need it. Great location for the neighborhood. In-store visitors are allowed, but not for too long (understandably do). Cool store!

We are new to the world of bike service and repair but could not have been happier with our experience here. They are very busy right now so appointments are needed for all service/repair. Once we got to our appointment though, they were thorough and reasonably priced. They are only allowing one person in the shop at a time so there can be a line at times. I felt they were professional and am quite happy with my experience. Will definitely be bringing our bikes there in the future.

This is the 2nd bike I have purchased from Bicycle Pro Shop Springfield, and Zach was the reason I went back. My first purchase was a 2020 Santa Cruz Hightower C that the team did a great job customizing we also and parts! When my 4 year old mastered her Minnie Mouse bike I knew it was tome to reach back out to Zach and get her a real well made bike. Zach had the perfect 16 inch Specialized in pink and blue all ready for her when we got there today. He helped her for it and made sure it was ready to ride. Zach also get her the perfect matching helmet to upgrade from the Disney helmet she was using.I will say Bicycle Pro Shop is not convenient for me to get to, but they have a lifelong customer in me.Thanks again-Will

The service provided was okay, but I was surprised that after spending $170 on tires and tubes from their store, I was still charged $30 dollars to install them. I have never had to pay for installing tires when bought from the store. They also didnt give me back my tires that came with the bike which is pretty new. I had to call in to call in to ask for them, yes I was in a hurry when I left but they should have been honest and gave me my tires back.

Helpful and courteous with my parts request. They had one of two items in stock and placed a special order for the second. Only one customer in the shop; no browsing. Knock on the door or call them to let you in.

Dropped by to shop for Shimano parts for the bike build project. Staff werent exactly friendly. They did very little as possible to help or answer my questions. I walked out unimpressed and I wont[t be coming back again. I drove right to the Contes bike shop at Falls Church. They took the time to find the right Shimano parts for my bike and order them for me. Contes Bike earned my business.

Visited this place today. I was looking for a tagalong bike for my special needs child. I was told that they were sold out. They were sold out of everything. That they didn’t have anything for me. The guy Didn’t even give me the chance to place an order with them. The guy wearing a cast, didn’t even give me the chance to look around the store. Shut the door on my face basically! Poor customer service! Not the right way to treat people and potential customers! Very sad!!!!

Stopped for upgrades on my classic road bike (simple upgrade that I can do but just lazy tbo) no one in the store had a clue. Immediately wanted to sell me all sort of expensive parts that, when I showed them were unnecessary, just stared at me with a bewildered look. If youre looking for a pro shop where they have a clue outside of the owners manual of the specialized bikes they hock, then you probably want to look elsewhere like me. Over 1k of family bike work thatll go to another shop.

I had been wanting to check out the new Bike shop near my house; I also didnt mind supporting my local business. These guys were super nice and helped me find a great pump for my bike. I liked how they had multiple choices from the floor pump to the mini pump and various price points in between. The guy helped me settle on a really nice and simple pump that I could attach to my bike or carry in a bag. They answered all my newbie questions and were very helpful. I was also impressed with how they seemed to be embracing the electric (hybrid) bike. They had a really nice looking Specialized electric bike for commuting...

I love this place. Very professional, they listen and document every detail you say and it gets done. During these busy times my bike was completed in a very timely manor. 10/10

This shop is top notch! I originally found them after searching for a new bike, but ended up purchasing one online. Problem with that is that u still need it serviced! Zach has been beyond helpful over this past year. This last visit was for a simple (for them, lol) derailleur adjustment. Hes always friendly (all staff there are btw) and quick to offer his advice. Bike was fixed within minutes!! I know ill need more stuff done at some point..and ill definitely be going back to them. Highly recommended!

Had something crazy happen with my SRAM derailuer at Wakefield and the guys at Bicycle Pro Shop sold me a better a derailuer and it is running great! Truly loving this shop.

These guys were great! Zach is from my area back in Harrisonburg VA, so it was nice to have someone to relate my bike needs and experience with. He helped me really get dialed in on what bike I needed. The shop is really nice and they have a great selection. Would highly recommend for your biking addiction needs! :)

I went to this store and I was the first costumer I was asked what I needed I replied I wanted to buy a bike ,the gentleman said ok and proceeded to talk with next costumer and served him, so I figured the other gentleman that was on the phone will help me once he was done with the call so I waited until he hungs the phone up after that he proceeded to ignore me and do other things until he got another call and picked it up to talk again so I left, this is bad business practice and im definitely taking my money elsewhere.

Came in here because it is right around the corner from my house and my wheel was way out of true. The guys were super friendly and got my bike running right. The mechanics really know their stuff. They have a solid stock of mountain bikes and gear for this area. They earned my business on the first visit.

Do not shop online at Bicycle Pro Shop. Ive completed my transaction online and supposed to pick up the bike at this store but turns out they bike is not available. We were only told we will get our refund in the next few days :( Waste of time!

The Bicycle Pro Shop is an outstanding business, located in the Ravensworth Shopping Center. Located just off of Braddock Road near the Beltway, this shop services the greater Springfield-Burke-Annandale area. My wife and I bought two Specialized Como 2.0 ebikes from this relatively new shop in November 2018, and we absolutely love the bikes. Moreover, we cant praise enough the support and extra kindness shown to us by Andrew, its general manager, and by service managers Zach and Kinzer. Each possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of all things bicycle; and they always generously take the time to share their expertise with us in an open, friendly manner, with never any pressure to make a sale. This low-key approach is very appealing, and it is ensuring this businesss success. Most importantly, the extra effort shown by Andre, Zach, and Kinzer in setting up our new bikes and car carrier, promptly ordering up requested accessories, making adjustments to enhance our riding comfort, and answering all of our questions has made this new endeavor for my wife and me a very positive experience. Just refuses to service my bike saying that they are booked for another three weeks. Although a friend of mine dropped his bike there on the same day. Either they though the job was too small or who k it’s what. Anyway this is disguising.
