After 2 other inspection sites, Midas and Pep Boys, shot me down, basically as I walked in the door, We dont have time, Mitchem Tire & Wheel, on S Campbell, was courteous, sensitive to my needs, and did my inspection right away. They will definately get my business in the future. SUPERSTARS

Was looking for a new place to service out personal vehicles. Cannot get an appointment for tire rotation. Dropped off my truck at 8:15 am and went home to pack up for vacation.Had not heard from anyone at 11:00 so I had the wife drop me off. Thought that they might be about done. They had not even started on it. I told them that we were leaving and needed it back. Told them I would have to reschedule. They told me that I was next. 40 minutes later we headed out. This helps me figure out where to get new tires. Not going to be buying them here.

(UPDATE BELOW) It’s a Saturday and the John Deer dealer is closed. My John Deer yard trailer valve stem broke so my Saturday was looking unproductive. I came to Mitchem and the gal at the counter was one of the most customer service oriented people I’ve dealt with (my wife says I’m always analyzing customer service in a critical manner so that’s saying something). To top things off their top mechanic came out of the shop and said, “do you want me to fix that?” I replied yes and he took it back to the shop. I left with a Dr Pepper in hand (which was a positive customer service story in and of itself) and a fixed tire in a matter of ten minutes total. This place is awesome. I would recommend their customer service to anyone after this experience.UPDATE: Round 2 it’s been over a year since I’ve been to Mitchem Tire but I’d say my luck with lawn mower tires is not good. I came back (cause my last experience was superb) and the gal at the counter remembered me from last time. This time a different tire got a hole. When she went to get my receipt she snuck over and got me another Dr Pepper. It was a good laugh and again, another great experience at Mitchem Tire. My family moved to Springfield in the fall of 2019 and this is definitely OUR tire shop now. Relationships are where it’s at and Mitchem has it down!

Like this place and they have always done a good job on the services provided but didnt appreciate the discrimination that I felt towards me and my husband on Friday when we were told we would need to stand outside while the work was done.This unfortunately is discrimination because the mandate says people do have exclusions to masking. Your business could have offered us a mask but when you said we had to stand outside in the cold while the car tires were put on was an act of discriminations. This was your businesses choice to keep us outside and not the mandates as the mandate only requires you to recommend the mask. I would recommend you do your part and offer the mask but if the customer declines you have done your part.Many business owners recognize their rights and dont discriminate against those that do not wear a mask. Additionally the Mayor is not a law maker. Missouri State Legislators are the only ones that can make laws.Discrimination is the act of making unjustified distinctions between human beings based on the groups, classes, or other categories to which they are perceived to belong. People may be discriminated on the basis of race, gender, age, religion, or sexual orientation, as well as other categories. J.P. even took me back to work and returned with my car a few hours later since there was a mix up on my tires. Love the new Michelin tires they helped me pick out, with my long distance drive to and from work in mind. You will be glad to do business here. I guarantee it. And Im hard to please. :)

They couldnt get me in it seemed like they werent real busy but a girl said it would be a 2 hour wait for the guy ahead of me to get a state inspection so I knew I wasnt getting my new wheels put on my car anytime soon through them. I could be wrong but I got a vibe the girl was blowing us off. Or at least the time frame wasnt realistic. I cant really say for sure but I guess everyone should call ahead of time with them because face to face might be to much for them not sure. Like I said I cant be completely sure but didnt seem like they had a lot going on. If they did I should of called first

Ive gone to mitchem now for quite some time. Ive been to many of the mechanic shops around town and this is by far my favorite place. Prices are always fair. Issues are always well explained and Im always treated with respect whether over the phone or in person. I strongly dislike most the shops around for issues Ive had along the way. Its nice to have a reliable shop thats not trying to take advantage of people or treat them like theyre ignorant. Only negative is their cramped parking and traffic cramped location.

Only second to the Ozark location (my home shop 👌)Found time for me after 2 last-minute cancellations (😉) 2 days later and informed me that I actually didnt need the alignment. So theyre not out there performing superfluous services and charging for them, and I feel more comfortable knowing that.As a single mom, I really dont like to be made a fool of by people who think I dont know what Im doing... Which is so often the case with car repair/maintenance shops.I dont get that vibe from either of the Mitchem Tire locations Ive been to: S Campbell and the Ozark one.

This place has been awesome each time Ive been there. Theyve fixed everything within a timely fashion. Theyre honest and reliable. Overall a great place. I HIGHLY reccomend David!! Hes super chill and VERRRY easy on the eyes ;)!!Anything they provide, I dont think theres a better place in Springfield to go to.

Hands down amazing! Had a wheel I thought wouldnt hold air again...they fixed it...what really got me was the small detail of putting all new caps on the valve stems! The details matter! Excellent service!

Called in advance to make appointment for safety inspection, and was told 1 hour. I arrived for my appointment, and then was asked to wait another 30 mins. Another 40 mins goes by and still nothing. Waste of my time.

Great Friendly customer service!! I would recommend them too all!! The only complaint and its not a big deal but just being honest the parking lot on Campbell road is not the easiest parking lot and getting out of there drive is crazy!! But worth the trouble!!!

Sorry to say I believe someone very close to me was taken advantage of today while getting a Missouri State Inspection. Not only did she have to wait 40 minutes, but when they came back to her with her inspection she supposedly needed new windshield wipers to pass. The windshield wipers she had on her car were working perfectly and were fairly new. Unfortunately, they insisted it did not pass without new ones and that they just happened to have the right ones right there for $20.00. I think had she been an older male her original windshield wipers would have passed the inspection no questions asked.

Shout out to Corey, Janice and the gang. For taking care of me and my car. They took care of on of my vehicles for normal maintenance, and front tires. They went above and beyond for me, and I cant say how much that means too me. Thank you so much guys!

I had a unexpected leak in a tire on my Honda Accord and they gladly got it right in, but warned me the sensor might be the issue and it could cost 75 dollars. They were done in 5 minutes and told me what it was, and said it was free of charge. Now that is outstanding service!

I was please to find a shop in Springfield MO my kids can take their vehicles to while in college with the same level of customer experience. My kids are driving up to St Louis this week to fly home and I wanted my sons vehicle to have a maintenance check performed before they made the drive. We found Mitchem Tire on Google, they have great reviews. They also share the same website provider we use so I knew they were a top shop. The experience my son had only confirmed that. They brought his vehicle in, performed a quick maintenance check, topped off his oil for him. Staff was friendly and location was clean. Thank you to the Mitchem staff!! We will be back!

I was a walk in without an appointment. I wanted four new tires for my van. They did not have the kind of tires I wanted on site but they got them in about half an hour and quickly installed and balanced them. They have a large comfortable waiting area with a TV and places to plug in your laptop if needed. They also have wifi available.

Horrible service. Ruined my rim and claimed they had nothing to do with it when I took before and after photos. Tire and rim ruined and they didn’t even offer to replace or help. Owner Basically kicked me out and said leave because he didn’t want to admit that his employees screwed up my tire. If they had customer service at all they would have apologized and admitted and replaced my tire.

Ive done business with Mitchem twice now. The first time was for a state inspection. They couldnt have been kinder, or more honest about what I needed done for my vehicle.So when my cars AC and heating suddenly stopped working or only working extremely intermittently, despite a full tank of antifreeze, I called and asked if they could help. They said they could. They told me their initial finding was that my blower motor needed replacing and what the cost would be. Came back not even 10 minutes later and said they had fussed around some more to make sure it the replacement was absolutely necessary and found a bad connection and some gunk to be cleaned out.They fixed those issues and Im good to go. I got my oil changed in the same visit and thats all I got charged for. No charge for cleaning up the filters (or whatever it was the cleaned), no charge for fixing whatever wasnt properly connected. Just the oil change. They even aired up my tires.After getting burned from other local shops and seeing friends go through the same, Im beyond pleased to have Mitchem around. Theyre not in the business of selling you something you dont need. Theyre in the business of doing right by your car, by your wallet, and most importantly - by you.At least thats what my experiences with them thus far have told me. But its told me enough to know theyre keeping my business.

Needed an oil change and all 4 tires rotated. Dropped by at 7:45 am on a Saturday and was in and out by 9:00 am. They even had the Mobil synthetic oil that I requested. A very well run organization. Wish I could find that type of service where I live in Texas.

First, I’m a long time customer of Mitchum Tire, and so great service is one of the many reasons I keep my business with them. However, in a recent visit, they went above and beyond even their usual high standards.A couple of days ago, I stopped before I left to go on vacation in Colorado. I was getting my tires rotated and an oil change. I had called ahead, but when I arrived I was greeted by one of the owners and explained my upcoming trip. They promptly started servicing my vehicle. One of the technicians identified that my front brake pads were almostworm out. Cory, one of the owners, conveyed this information to me and suggested that I should get new pads. I agreed, but it was in the middle of the afternoon and I had a bunch of errands that had to get done before we left, and not much time to do them. I was in a pickle.Cory recognized my situation and desperation. He found me a vehicle to use while the worked on mine. I was able to get all my errands finished and when I returned my vehicle was ready to go.This business is amazing. I would recommend Mitchem Tire to anyone needing tires or other vehicle service. They are a local company. The owners live in our community and care about providing great products and service. After all these years, they still impress me with their dedication to their customers.

Great lifetime service. Free rotation with tire purchase. Tire prices are very reasonable. Lots of walk in traffic so might have to wait a bit, but a nice waiting area with TV, coffee,etc. Id say worth the wait(waiting now while giving 5 stars)

Arrived at 9:45 am and was told it would be 30 min. At 10:50 was asked which car. They looked at a list and an employee took the key out to the bay area. At 11:10 the car is still not in the garage.All 4 tires had been purchased at Mitchem, so we go there for oil change, tire rotation, etc.We will not return with this kind of service.

Update: All still good, but FCFS - call ahead to check on wait. // Friendly and willing to take time to discuss options. Bought Run-Flat tires here last year and have been happy with tires and follow-up service.

Amazing!!very very pleased w the service, helpfulness, friendliness, and most important the job done. Other tire and wheel shops have made a mess of my rims. But mitchem was fast cheep. cleaned my old adhesive of my wheels from old balancing weights, hid the new weights. Cleaned rims and put new tires on. They also will fix flats for free and and free rotation after 5000 Miles. I have never written a review for a company good or bad but. I had to today :-)

My brakes started grinding and not working on my way to work from a doctor appointment around noon. I called around, and no one else could get me in until Monday. Living 40 miles from Springfield, I didnt want to chance driving back and forth on bad brakes. I called mitchem and they got me right in! Fixed my brakes for low cost and then let me know that my back ones were bad as well... Even gave me a quote on what that would be. Wonderful customer service, they explained everything thoroughly. Totally recommend.
