Well what can I say..ace on Frances in spokane are some on the nicest an knowledgeable people Ive run into..someone is always attempting to get to u as quickly possible. Pricing, well it cannot compete 100% with its competitors but who can. Service though is more important to me as long as prices are fair. I guess after 30+years I may as well stick with them.😆😇🤑

Needed parts for my coleman duel fuel lantern and the had them and knew right where they were. They are always helpful and know their hardware, nice place to shop at.

In the past I have appreciated this store especially due to their excellent customer service. Unfortunately the last 4-5 times Ive been in Ive had sub-par service with unhelpful employees and staff that didnt know where products were located.

Went into Ace to get a replacement part for a weed eater the guy was helpful lettuce to the correct spot and we purchase what we needed

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and the craft soda cooler is a bonus on top of (almost) always having just what I need. If they dont have something, they usually know who does. They really are helpful hardware folks.

Called to see if they had milorganite. Lady said one moment Im gonna go look. I was able to drive from by SCC to the store while STILL on hold and when I get there they were just b.sing instead of going to look to see if it was there. . No reason for them to have forgotten about looking if they had it in stock and forgotten I was still on hold up tell I got to the cashier with the product and told them to go Head and they can hand up now.

Always have helpful employees at this Ace location. The commercial means something to these folks.

The employees and management are on top of their game. They continue to maintain their inventories and work with customers. I would recommend you try Ace before you get lost and annoyed in HD or Lowes. Specifically, I had a unique situation with a donation that our nonprofit recieved. The manager was able to think critically and assess the issue and make a decision. This is so hard to find now days.. thank you for your assistance.. and I prefer to spend my money at Ace on Francis Ave next to Safeway.

The prices are a little steep, however, they usually have what Im looking for. I do like the bird food selection and planting/potting sections are good. I bought most of my annuals here this year. They are doing great.

Sad to report they are EXTREME price gougers. A 10 fan cost $50 only because of our deadly heat wave. The company prefers profits over human life.

A great place to buy still equipment

I needed a replacement bathroom ceiling fan and the old one is so old it couldnt match up by model number. The person at Ace helped me match it up by size. Excellent service and a busy store.

The worst experience ever dealing with their repair shop my snowblower was in there for over a month when I got it back it didn’t last 20 minutes then they asked for it back and supposedly diagnosed it without taking it apart and said it was the gearbox can’t get anybody to return phone calls I’m two blocks away and have been up there several times and always get the ruN aroundSo in your In your description as to what you did to fix the machine you stated that you put new shoe pads on the ironic thing is is that one of your own mechanic said that the shoe pads failed which made the auger hit the ground which Stripped out the gearboxI totally understand that you have to have your employees back and I do not hold haste towards that but do you understand that you’re getting fed a different story than the actual truthAs I told Jim this morning at 8 AM I don’t care about the machine it’s the service. Which was totally unacceptable

Great selection, but I am annoyed that I buy for customer or someone else and they always ask if I want to donate. Owner we dont need your solicitation when we come to buy so please stop asking regular customers the same questions . If your sales people dont know there regular customer then figure it out . I have a hard time being ask every time I come there to donate my customers money that I am purchasing for. And please we all dont want to be a member, so ask if we are a member, not enter your rewards number please with the condescending arrogance that I am missing out on something. Your location is handy and the staff that helps me in the store is great and fairly knowledgeable, but the sales counter makes me want to scream No and No to the exact same two questions I get before I pay. You know what those are because you trained them to ask them. We all are not shopping with our own money ,so we are all not at liberty to donate, and we all dont want to be on your junk mail list. I believe in giving hilariously, that is not a problem , it the attitude that I get when I say the 2nd no that makes me want to shop else where. So really 0 stars for sales counter practices, and 4 stars for associates in the field and supplies on hand.

Lighting and electrical? Yup. Friendly staff to greet you and take you to whatever you need? Yup. Great prices? Yup. I love this store!

Ace has always been my go to store when I need something and dont mind paying a little extra but I have recently discovered their greeting card assortment. I did go back to get a certain birthday card but they will carrying it.The problem with Ace is that if you go through whole store, youll find too much that you need and didnt even know it, this place is a candy store!

I always try to come here first for my hardware needs. Most times they have what I need. While they dont have a massive selection of anything and everything they do have most common items. As long as you dont need a prehung door or lumber this is a smart choice.

This isnt a store....its your next-door neighbors who will do anything to assist you! You walk in the front door and ALL the staff gives you a super friendly greeting. The pricing on products, as well as the quality, is excellent and if you ever have a challenge...NO problem folks!! A great place to shop with an outstanding staff!!!! I rate Ace Hardware on Francis two stars. They get the two stars only because the a store manager Jim works for you. Long story short. I take my Toro snow blower back in after using it for one snow route. I let them know it is not running up to par, as I have ran many of Toro singal stage snow blowers in the last 4 years. They tell me it is fine and nothing is wrong. They tested it out front in some slush while I was present and of course it will though some water slush. I call in two weeks down the road because Ive got no answer back yet. Their reasponce was everything works fine and they will not refund me the money for around $730 that was spent for the machine. So am I suppose to eat it? I now have to go buy two more now blowers from online because they dont carry what I need anywhere else but online. And mind you this is one day before another snow fall. I do not recommend doing any huge transactions with them. Go to Home Depot Ive done a ton of business with them, and no problems at all.Message to the Owner, should treat your customers with care, they pay your bills.

I went into this Ace location looking for a few pieces of hardware. Dusty helped me (he deserves a raise!) and even though I only spent $4 he treated me like someone who was making a much larger purchase. Super attentive and helpful. Id highly recommend this location, especially if you are intimidated by home improvement projects.

Friendly staff. They have the cheapest dog food in town of the brand I use. So theres that. Excellent selection of screws...yup. I suppose the nut selection is good too, but I havent had a need for nuts lately since I still have mine. I like the ceiling. Its high...very high...So I can breath and dont have to bend way over when I walk in the store...That would suck. I mean who would put a four foot ceiling in a store? Thats just stupid. Ace IS the place.

Dusty was AWESOME. He helped me find exactly what I was looking for in just a few minutes. Store was clean, well stocked, and well staffed. Couldn’t ask for more.

From the local owners to ALL of the staff, they are the best. I had a little emergency with my snow blower gas line freezing and they took it in the back and 5 minutes later had my snow blower running- now thats service!And with everything else I go in for, which is a lot, they find you, you usually dont have to look for them, they work with you one-on-one to help you find the best solution for your problem or project. 5 star rating for sure.

Great prices and bigger selection than you think. Locally owned unlike the box store. Most of the time someone is trying to help you as soon as you come in the door. The staff are all quite knowledgeable about location in the store at least and most of them are knowledgeable hardware store stuff in general. Dont worry if your not sure what you need, they we help you figure it out.🤘😎🤘

I always have a fantastic time at this Ace Hardware. The staff is super friendly and always make sure that I have what I need, even if Im not sure what I need (theyre really good at deciphering my vague descriptions of remodeling materials). I always manage to find interesting things that I never seem to find at Big Box stores (such as this key for our dog sitter) , and they have a great selection of dog treats and toys as well, so when I being them with me they can choose some treats.

I have to say this is my favorite hardware store in town! They have a great supply of all the little things you need and the staff is excellent. I am often in there for bolts/screws, paint, Stihl needs, BBQ stuff, ect.

Awesome service, expensive compared to other stores, but cost is worth it for the customer service, and help finding what you need. Really appreciate these guys and gals. Will continue to shop here as long as I love in the area.

As I went to talk to the manager on day shift today regarding at tool (blower)I purchased I was treated like an idiot. I expressed my concerns of the machine overheating and was told by her I probably have a bad extension cord or maybe the outlet was bad. REALLY. The machine was purchased less than a year ago and was used for 15 minutes and became so hot I could smell the engine burning. I was told by her to only use the machine in the cool weather and not longer for 10 minutes. This is a blower that should be able to withstand longer than 10 minutes of work. She told me she couldnt do anything about it was not willing to send it back to the company. She did plug it in and ran the blower for 5 minutes and told me their was noproblems. I came home attempted to blow the dust off of the driveway, within 5 minutes the blower became so hot, and the smell of the engine burning I shut it off.I feel this manager it very condescending, even though she is a women, she is able to make one feel very stupid. Where is the costumer service ...... Maybe if I had a 3rd degree burn or the blower caught on fire she might believe me or then again maybe not.... Sincerely, (What has happened to customer service)Stuck with a very expensive overheating blower that smells like a burning mess..?????? To bad I love ace most of the time, except basically being called a lair to my face. Now I am sad....
