I love the gerenal store. They have everything. Literally everything. There automotive section is the absolute best. Very smart staff and they have the most selection of aftermarket on parts. Turbos. Msd ignition, literally everything.

The staff are always kind and helpful. There is plenty of parking and the checkout lines move quickly. They have a lot of items including automotive, boating, camping, hunting & fishing, water sport items and clothing and shoes just to mention a few. BBQ grills and outdoor gardening too. Truly a one stop shop store. Highly recommended and they offer Veteran discounts.

When people tell you The General Store has it all, its not a joke, they really do have it all. What an amazing place! I walked I and asked the first employee I came across a question and they pointed out exactly where I needed to go and sure enough the 2gallon propane tank I searched all over Spokane for was exactly where employee said it was. They even took my outside and filled it for me. Awesome selection and excellent friendly service.

Disrespectful rude customer service. Overpricing the customer at the register.Gender bias/I want to buy your clothes and your shoes but its inappropriate for you to tell me what I can have and what I cant have and how to dress. For the record mens boots are not two sizes bigger than womens theyre one. I really hate it when stores run game on people. General store has been told many times youre rude! youre disrespectful! I believe youre charging more at the register just because of how the person is or isnt. Please get your act together before your reported to the Better Business Bureau. Visited the general store today to fill up my compressor tanks and the first guy told me he couldnt assist me, as I was walking out Marks seen me pretty upset since Ive been trying to get my tanks filled for about a good month or so. I explained I needed my tanks filled but no one was able to fill them. He said he knows how to fill them and helped me right away! Great customer service!

Nice clean store. The salespeople are happy and very helpful. I went in for a couple bolts and washers. Came out with bolts, washers and a couple bubble shooters. Awesome hunting supplies.. good selections.

I dont recommend this is place. Rude employees. All of the stuff you will find here will not last more than a few days. I would not recommend even walking in here, just keep walking and head to good will. Bad business structure

Tons of things stuffed into an interesting space. Dont miss the huge toy selection up in the loft area. Certainly not the best service but they have something for everyone.

Called to inquire about food grade calcium hydroxide. The young man didnt understand so I said it can go by pickling lime and should be in the food preservation isle, did they have any in? He asked someone in the background about it then told me the isle for pickling stuff. I asked again if it was there in stock, could he check?Tells me the isle 2 more times then hangs up. No one actually checked. No size or price.

Higher pricing on plumbing than the big competitors. Didnt have all of the plumbing fittings that I need. I still have to go to the big stores to get the job done. I thought Id give them a chance. Not next time.

I always find The General Store (Ace Hardware) to be a valuable asset in my shopping needs. There is a large parking lot replete with handicap parking. The store itself is clean, and well stocked. Every employee that Ive spoken to is personable, and patient. All things considered, this is a great place to shop.

Well organized and great customer service.

We have shopped here often through the years and rarely have an issue, but Chris in auto parts was absolutely terrible to work with. His attitude was poor and when we asked about the product we needed he said they only had the display model available. My husband asked for a discount (obviously, as the display model had multiple display and pricing stickers all over it as well as finger prints and was scratched along the side where itd rubbed off throughout a long time being messed with on the stand) and he refused and charged us full price. I was a manager at a major retailer and it is standard practice to give at least 15% discount on display models. With all the ways to purchase online these days, customer service is one of the only reasons to shop in a retail store and Chris was so unpleasant to work with it made us decide we dont need to come back to the general store.

Absolutely the best group of people. I sneaked in about 3 min before closing. they wernt mad. no no they helped me gather the things i needed for my paint job. i had 2 guys help me i gave each of them a few things to grab. and we all met up at the register at the same time. perfect.

I would give this store negative 5 stars for poor customer service. I am medically exempt from wearing a mask and I respect stores and will except curbside service. I went to have C02 tanks filled for my kids Paint ball guns. I told the store manager I would GLADDLY WAIT OUTSIDE while they filled the tanks. I was told I couldnt pay inside Without a face shield that they provide. The check out counters have clear barriers set up isnt that considered a shield .I was told to go online, You cant order this online which He knew. I was only told that they would only accommodate what they felt was the proper masks or procedures. Shame on you General Store!!!! Bad news travels fast & it looks like Im not the only one treated this way, check out all the others that were treated just as horribly.

Its an Ace Hardware, sporting goods, and auto supply shop in one. Great selection on all. A locally owned shop with a great selection, all while supporting the community.

I tried to support local, only to find the worst customer service in SPOKANE!In line like cattle for twenty minutes. I walked out and went to Walmart. Sad how bad its gotten since ATF took their gun license. Terrible! Dont Recommend!!!

Lots of stuff to choose from, plenty of clueless employees to assist customers. Employees seem to be much more concerned w-stalking customers as if everyone is a thief. Could have something to do w-it being almost 100 degrees outside & the store has zero air conditioning making both the customer & employee uncomfortable.

My husband came in to your store tonight to buy a pair of gloves for our 5 year old son, it’s 17 degrees out FYI. He wasn’t wearing a mask and was helped throughout the store by two employees no issues. When he got into line, and made it to the front for his turn, he was denied service. Our 5 year old boy had to watch his dad be denied service for gloves that would’ve kept his hands warm. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. We won’t be back and I’m spreading the word.

The General Store is decent in general, they have decent pricing on quite a few general items, they have decent staff, generally, and generally clean. The merchandise is a bit cluttered, but I think that its in the spirit of that type of store.

The general store, as the name implies has a little bit of everything. A full hardware store, Auto parts store, fishing and hunting. The staff are generally knowledgeable and a good number of them are subject matter experts in the department in which they work. Theres always a bargain to be found and theyre everyday prices meet or beat most of the big box stores.

My boyfriend went in to look for a pump that would be able to blow up his new pontoon, but while in the process of looking around for other camping supplies he was secretly followed around like he was going to steal. Ultimately this annoyed him to the point of purchasing what he had found, but leaving without everything we needed for our camping trip. I understand its on the north side and times are hard but dont make people who are actually there to shop uncomfortable to the point of not wanting to even shop there. I have worked retail and its easier to just have good customer service to deter the thieves away.😉

The prices cannot be better than Ebay or Amazon. But its instant gratification. Because, lets face it, we dont get time back.Unless we do.Maybe Time isnt important. It was important enough for me to capitalize it. I love you people. So save money and just use Amazon.On a side note, Mike the supervisor went way above and beyond the call. They have it all! I went to 5 different auto parts stores looking for some specific parts for my project truck, some just didnt have it and others didnt even know what I was talking about! Walked in to The General Store and the first person I asked pointed me right to the isle I needed and for a general store boy oh boy so they have some sweet stuff for your project cars and trucks.

I tried to call general stores automated system and the first time I called the person was rude and hung up on me. After a few other times it continued to hang up on me. I got a hold of the hardware department to get my item and the guy said he would look for it but after 10 minuets it hung up on me again.
