Our battery light came on and we pulled into the nearest car Dr. , Les Schwab. It would be about an hour to an hour and a half wait to be seen. So I Googled nearest place to see how long (Mechanics Pride) and he said, as long as it takes me to see whats wrong, maybe a couple of minutes. Yall, this place is amazing! They have tons of cars to attend to yet slipped us in immediately. They ended up having to stay AN HOUR after close because Napa delivered the wrong part initially and we were pretty much stranded without our car. They go above and beyond. We are so thankful! Definitely recommend!

I have been going to Mechanics Pride for almost five years. Every time Tony has been so awesome at getting my car in and out the same morning I call for an appointment. Tony tells me the honest trust about what my car needs, which isnt much since its a 2013 Toyota Corolla with under 50,000 miles on it. I get my routine oil changes there, and a mount and balance for my snow tires in the winter time. I get my fluids topped off every time I get an oil change.A couple months ago I decided to take my car into Spokane Quick Lube down the road, I didnt have enough time this time to go to Mechanics Pride because we were leaving on a camping trip.What a mistake, my car was leaking oil, and lots of oil.I called Tony the next day and he was able to get me in and check it out. There was something wrong with the bolt, like it was stripped or something. Well Tony was able to fix it and no more oil is leaking.Everyone there is so awesome, they made sure to check out everything else in my car to make sure everything is running properly.They are quick and efficient, trust worthy and local!

Very bad experience.Here is what happened.My car broke down, and I had to get it towed and dropped off at mechanics pride. I understand they were backed up but Tony was too aggressive to me on the phone saying : I HAVE 40 CARS TO WORK ON, YOU GOTTA GIVE ME TIME OR COME TOW YOUR CAR!!He eventually got back to me saying its The Starter and ITS GONNA COST $600 TO FIX!!! . He was trying to charge me 2.5 hrs for labor !! Which I considered blackmailing and taking advantage of me.I asked other mechanics and they all said its only an hour for the labor to replace starter.This is my last time to go there.

Took car in for ac diagnostic. Got quotes 1300 for repairs. Two other shops quoted me half. Factory part was 600 less than their quote. Only reason got 2 stars is they didnt charge to diagnose.

I love the way they receive u and they dont over charge u, or put things in ur car without authorization.

We have all our family and business vehicles serviced at the South Hill location. Theyve done everything from tires and oil changes to dropping in a new engine. Some may argue I have minor control issues and dont easily hand off important tasks to others but with Tony, Cosmo, and their crew...I simply hand them the keys. They are friendly, honest, locally owned, and very good at what they do. Opinions are subjective, but math is not... there are reasons why their lot is always full!

These Guys are Great !!! I had a flat on Friday, I pulled up to their business ; they fixed it within 1/2 hr While I was waiting I asked the gentleman if I could make a appointment to have my Subaru looked at , he said no problem I could come back Monday . Meanwhile the other man worked on the car ...He came back & Told me that the left rear wheel bearings were Real Bad. I was advised not to drive it home & they would gladly take me home & pick me back up when the car was done. This was all Great ... But then Mechanics Pride Tire & Automotive went above & beyond refused payment for fixing my tire.

Changed over winter tires, but also had them troubleshoot a steering issue. Turns out it was just the 4WD auto setting, and no repairs needed!

An easy 5 star to give. When every other shop was quoting me 2 or 3 days to even look at it, they had my vehicle diagnosed, repaired and ready to go within a couple of hours. Very friendly and professional. I think I found my new local mechanic shop today. I live in Cheney and it is worth the extra drive.

I want to give a good review of this establishment but I am now taking my car in for a third time on the same issue. I am really frustrated at the lack if concern they have for fixing my vehicle and am now wishing I had taken it elsewhere in the first place. The people are nice but I am once again without my car and struggling to find options to pick up my kids and get to work. Im really over this entire experience.

More than great mechanics, they have great values. I cannot speak more highly of this place.A week or so ago I stopped to help somebody who was broken down on the side of the road a ways outside of town. This gentleman moved here somewhat recently on refugee status so unfortunately he did not yet speak English fluently. I am no mechanic so the couple obvious things I checked did not get his car running again. We picked our way through a conversation and settled on dropping him off at a mechanic’s, somewhere nearby. The South Hill was the closest part of the city so I began Googling. Mechanic’s Pride was close and, more importantly, had great reviews so that is where we headed. When I dropped him off I explained the situation and told them where the tow truck would find his car. Before I headed home I gave them my number so they could call with an update when they figured out the problem. A couple hours later the shop manager called and informed me that they had diagnosed and fixed the problem and sent the gentleman on his way, free of charge.Many businesses would have jumped at the opportunity to take advantage of somebody in this man’s position but they did not. They did the exact opposite. Next time I need anything done with my own vehicles I will definitely be bringing them here.

They were really accommodating. I requested some work but didnt leave the right information, they too the extra step to get things done right. My wife has used them for years and they dont try to do too much.

These guys are awesome! Manager Tony keeps me informed about costs and schedule. They do great work for very reasonable cost. Ive taken 3 vehicles there for various service and repairs and they always exceed my expectations and cost less than Id thought!

They are fast and efficient. They work with me on finding the best prices for the products my car needs but are hard to find. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience with them.

Paid them to replace rack and pinion over 1000 dollars and started leaking power steering fluid right out of the gate. They paid another shop to fix it and its still leaking to this day 3 years later. Not only did i pay 1000 dollars get it fixed but they ruined my vehicle forever because I cant pay to get the original problem fixed. I feel cheated and upset that I am now loosing my only vehicle. And to top it off now they tell me it is my problem, its not under warranty, and I have to pay now AGAIN, to fix the same issue. Thanks for taking my money and ruining a vehicle for a single father of 2 daughters.

I came in to get my fluids changed on my vehicle... after spending three hours in the lobby my car was finished. They told me I needed my fluids changed and some other stuff done to my rear differential... thats cool because thats what I asked for not for you to be the third person to tell me I need my fluids changed. I guess thank you for the 90$ oil change! Im not trying to knock this company but I wasnt even written in for an appointment when I made one earlier in the week.. like two days before. Maybe they were having a bad day or communication issues. I would love to give this company a good review but I left the establishment less than satisfied.

Called last minute to get an oil change and alignment and they were able to get me in the next day. They did a great job and prices were not bad.

We haven’t taken our car here yet but I’m going to be buying my brothers car from him (he’s in spokanne & I’m in Idaho) and it needs a wheel bearing replaced before we pick it up. Tony was super nice over the phone and worked the best he could to help us get it figured out in such a short time. We’ll be taking it there next week and I will post another review then. Five stars, hands down. Had changed my own oil but was unable to replace the filter because I stripped my filter wrench, so I went here hoping for some help. They helped me out right away, and it turned out the filter cap was on wayyy tighter than it should be (likely was my own fault). What ordinarily would have been a five minute job ended up taking about 20 minutes (they tried three or four different things to get the filter cap off and finally got it). After putting my new filter in, checking the oil level, and graciously giving me several tips, they sent me off without charging me a dime. Talk about service! They will be seeing me next time I have an issue with my car. Thanks Mechanics Pride!

Weve been here twice and twice we got screwed. Our cars check engine light was on and the car started shaking whenever it idled. Took it to Mechanics Pride and they said we needed a new manifold which was $1,200. My husband said he didnt think that was the problem; they insisted it was so we paid the $1,200. The next day we pick up the car and the check engine light came back on as soon as we got home and the shaking never stopped. Took it back to Mechanics Pride. They said Whoops! Looks like its actually the fuel injector. Thatll be another $700. Reading other reviews below, this seems to be their MO. I will never give them a dime again.

These guys are honest and quick to get to working on your vehicle. I had lots of help from them in dealing with my after market warranty especially. I brought the vehicle to them with the warranty information and afterwards I didnt have to do anything until it was time to pick up the car

We went to Spokane, WA to see a concert. We came from Regina, SK (Canada) approximately 800 miles from where we live. A few hours outside of Spokane we realized we had issue with our car. We stopped in at the Mechanics Pride Tire location to find out what the issue might be.They were super busy, but Nathan who works there took the time to get us in right away when he found out we were from out of town. The issue was found and rectified within an hour and we were safely back on the road to enjoy our vacation.If I could give a 10 star review to the staff at this location I totally would! Thanks for the help and quick service.

Honest and Great Price - I went in to have a couple small things fixed on my car. The Toyota dealership downtown and another shop on 57th told me it would cost about $200 to replace my headlight because they would have to take off the bumper. Mechanics Pride did it without having to remove the bumper and when I went to pick up my car, they didnt charge me for either fix. It made my day and Ill definitely be going back if I ever need something else done.

I wish I had found them sooner! Ive been to the downtown and south hill location and I feel like they have been so fair and honest... not two words normally associated with car repair. So thankful to find this shop! They have fixed my car noises, changed oil, and properly fixed my AC, driving belts, and thermostat. All at a reasonable fee 🎉🎉☀️

Over $1300 to fix a few leaks on my truck the labor cost was more than anything. My best advice is if you have the time go on youtube and google and learn to fix whatever is going on with your or a friends vehicle man or woman doesnt matter anyone can do it I now know this from experience and yes I am a woman at about 100 lbs and I can show up a lot of dudes when it comes to fix in a car or truck dont matter. And its all because of mechanics pride and their outrageous prices.!

The staff at this store are not only friendly, professional but also do excellent work with reasonable price. Tony fixed my muffler and resolved this issue which bothers me for a long time. I also get two referrals from Tony to fix my fender. The online reviews of one autobody shop I chose from the two are highly positive.Update on front axle replacement.For the first two jobs, fixing muffler, and changing serpintine belt and drive belts, the prices are reasonable. Replacing front axles is almost two times more expensive than the quote I received from another auto shop. Mechanics Pride gives me free oil change and fixing my dripping transmission hose for free, to make me feel better. Most likely go somewhere else when I have a car problem next time.

Had a leak in a tire on the way to work. Pulled over here. They got me in right away and fixed the problem quickly.

Recently brought my wifes rig in. Whe. We got it back we heard a clicking noise. We were busy with funerals and vacations, so we couldnt bring the car back for over 2 weeks. We half expected to be told it was our fault for not calling in sooner. But No! They took full responsibility for the issue, replaced the parts that same day. Car drives like it should now. We wilk continue to reccommend Mechanics Pride to our friends and family.

Honest, didnt suggest anything I didnt need, and when I was nervous about a noise after I got my car back they checked it over for no additional fees. Would definitely go back if I ever have a problem again.
