The young ladies in front desk are pleasant, and the mechanics are very professional and easy to talk to. Price is very reasonable. My food truck smokes really bad, and I am so happy that I took it to ICDI and it was fixed like magic. I would not take it anywhere else. I will give a perfect 10. Great place and great crew! ICDI was recommended by a good friend. He raved about their customer service, quality of workmanship, and competitive pricing. I dropped my truck off, they checked out my complaint while I was there, inspected the rest of the system and found it alright. Diagnosed, kept it to repair. I would be surprised if it wasnt fixed in less time under budget. Great shop!

My AC compressor fell apart 50 miles out of Spokane and these guys got on the problem the next day once it was towed into their shop. So happy they got me in right away and fixed the problem with the utmost professionalism and timeliness. Hopefully I wont need them again but would highly recommend them for repairs. Thanks ICDI!

Made appointment for a Tuesday with the stipulation that I was camping that weekend.. waited to do any work until Thursday. I had to call them and tell them to not proceed with any tear down and leave truck alone , I did not want it sitting in there shop over the weekend. I thought by making an appointment I would have had work started day of..Definitely a huge let down on a professional impact.

These are the only people I trust to work on my rigs. Ive trusting a mechanic is hard to find these days. Except for me! Ive got a trusted mechanic.

Have been here a couple times to service my duramax, both times have been a good experience. They seem honest, have reasonable labor rates (better than chevy), and so far have done a quality job. I will be going back in the future for all maintenance and repairs.

Ive done business with this shop for a few years now, and their service every time has been great. They have always been very upfront and honest about what repairs/services my truck has needed. They are very straight forward with no B.S. and for me i like that in a business!! They have never tried to sell me something my truck doesnt need! When I first brought my 1997 F350 RELIC in 2015 I had to have the motor rebuilt . They did an outstanding job on fixing my truck that I wont go anywhere else. They have had it back for other maintenance needs to keep it on the road and DOT CERTIFIED. They are always professional. They are knowledgeable about all makes and models diesel and gasoline. If I cant fix it they will. I appreciate all that they do for fixing my truck.

Amazing shop!!! Took our truck here to have the repairs made, and they wouldnt call us to pick it up until they had it up and running correctly. The most amazing thing about it is this truck hadnt ran in almost 2 years, and they had it fixed correctly, and they even check everything else on the truck, and called to tell us other items they had found wrong with the truck, and provided a price upfront before doing the work. Gave us the best deal of anyone in town. Honest, Upfront, and very caring people. They even took our truck in and double checked something that someone else said was wrong with the truck, and guaranteed us it wasnt. We had the truck first at another so call diesel specialist that charged us a 1000 bucks to fix this issue, and within 2 days the truck was doing the very same thing I believe had we taken it to ICDI 1st before all the other places that we have fixed things that were not wrong. From Now Own ICDI will be Getting ALL of our personal and business auto work, and we will be sending everyone we know there as well!!! Thank you all very much.. Now to clean it up and get her sold!!! Just wish I had thought to see if you all have a detail department as well!!!

This place is outstanding. If you own a diesel truck, this is the place. I found this business when calling around to see how much it would cost to drain, flush, and refill my F350s cooling system. After getting two quotes, I called ICDI, and their price was about 55% of the two other quotes. Then when I took the truck in to ICDI, they tested my coolant and said that it was not needing changed out yet. They are always honest like that, which is not the norm when dealing with auto shops. I am a return customer now.

If you own a diesel there is no other place to go for service. The staff here is the definition of quality and integrity. Prompt courtesy service with detailed information. Very glad I went there.

I was on vacation and developed a fuel leak from the top of the fuel tank on my Ram 2500. ICDI told me to bring it in and fixed it right away to get me back on the road. Great people great service!

I have been taking my Chevy Duramax 2500 Classic to ICDI for the past 4 to 5 years. I have been real happy with their expertise and quality of work. I know everytime my truck is worked on, it is in real good hands! From the knowledgeable receptionist, the technicians, and the owners, everyone there works real hard for their customers and their trucks! The pricing has always been real fair also! I know I would pay more at other Diesel shops. At ICDI, I feel like an appreciated customer and today places like that are hard to find!

After first bringing my truck in they fixed something else that wasnt the reason why I brought my truck in. One week later after bringing it into get fixed for what I first wanted fixed. They gave me a price then when I picked it up it was $200 more than the Price they quoted me. They never called me to tell me it was going to cost more. As a matter of fact I had to call them several times to find out if my truck was done. Communication is not one of their best qualities. When I asked the two ladies in the front about the price breakdown they both started getting mad at me. They thought it was too much to ask to tell me that it was gonna cost more than what they bid me. Their comment to me was I guess well call you every time theres a price change. Maybe theyre overwhelmed because theyre pretty busy but they dont pay tension to detail or customer service. For spending over $1000 in their shop disappointed and wont be going back.

Have read most of the Rants. Positive & Bad. All I can tell you is I have been going to them since I bought my first Diesel. Most of the issues I have are self inflicted. Still chasing a few Ghosts, but from the way Gus Johnson put the truck together, I’m surprised there aren’t more. Ron and crew have treated me very fairly. Latest incident was a blown transfer case, and they had the beast running in less than a week. Checked out others before I started going to them, but their attitude was the best. They treat me like I’m one of the family. They get all my business unless I’m on the road and a long way from home.

Very clean and does a good job

I own a small repair shop in Sandpoint, ID. Came across an issue on a Ford 6.4 Powerstroke I am rebuilding that I had never seen before. Through a series of referrals I ended up talking to Ron at ICDI about the possibility that he could fix the problem. He very easily could have had me bring the crankshaft in and he would have fixed it as well as I would have known. However, he took the time, and even a little phone tag to explain to me that I could fix the problem with the crank in the motor myself. Saved me a TON of time and effort to no advantage to himself. THANKS RON!!

I brought my truck in and explained to Ron exactly what was going on and that I had already hooked my truck to the scanner and had already done a wet and dry compression test, and leak down test. Put in all new injectors, all new rockers and push rods. I asked how long it would take and how much they would charge to confirm for me if I needed a new head. Ron promised by Friday that he would know what was wrong and if I needed a knew head and the cost would be $110.00. I called daily for a status finally Thursday evening I call and ask if it will be done, the office person said I would recieve a call, I did not get that call, I called again Friday morning, now the office person tells me they need to do a compression test and that they will not know anything until the middle of next week and that it will take 5 hours to do a compression test. So now the $110.00 just jumped to $700.00 to troubleshoot my truck. The thing is a compression test was already done, and they knew that. So now the bill would have been $700.00 and they still would not be any closer to telling me if the head was bad. I told them not to touch my truck and I would come and get it. When I finally spoke with a tech he told me that he hooked it up to a computer but that thier was not faults, which I knew already as I had already had it connected to a computer, he then stated he needs to do a mechanical compression test, which would take 5 hours, really 5 hours, WOW! You really have to love a MAC chart, that quotes 5 hours to do a compression test on a 5.9 cummins, if that did not show the problem then my injectors where probably bad. Remember earlier I already told them the compression was good and all the injectors are new Bosch injectors that had been flow tested and honed by one of the best performance injector shop in the PNW. The techs response, Oh! I did not realize all that was already done. So if I would have left my truck the repair bill would probably have been over $3000.00 and they still would not be any closer to getting my truck fixed. I go to pick my truck up, thank god I had been a Diesel mechanic for 26 years and I knew they were just trying to run the bill up and told them to not touch my truck. When I picked my truck up thier true colors really shined through. One of the techs decided to start yelling at me from thier holding hard yard, calling me just about every bad name in the book. Now of course the coward would not step off thier property and come across the street and say anything to my face, instead the little coward stood next to his buddy, behind a fence and ran his little punk mouth. Not sure who the little coward was but he did say he owned the place, he did look a little young for that but maybe his Mommy and Daddy own the place and this little punk COWARD has spent his life running his mouth and then jumped under his mommys skirt to hide. Bottom line I would not trust this business to work on anything as they will do anything they can to charge you as much as they possibly can. I went to them on a recommendation from someone because I just did not have the time to fix my own truck, but I am glad I was a diesel mechanic because if I was not and just brought my truck to them they would have screwed me out of thousands of dollars, so beware of this company they ate not good people and when they get caught at trying to screw you over they resort to name calling or anything else. UPDATE!!!! I brought my truck to a different shop turned out to be a loose harmonic balancer. FIVE MINUTE FIX AND THEY DIDNT EVEN CHARGE ME, I sent them 6 large pizzas, bread sticks and drinks the next day. AGAIN THIS BUSINESS WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF!!!! AND THEY ARE RUDE AND RESORT TO PROPHANITY WHEN THEY ARE CAUGHT TRYING TO CHEAT YOU AGAIN THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME A NEW ENGINE AT THE COST OF OVER 10 THOUSAND DOLLARS, BEWARE OF THESE CHEATS. Just to update how bad this business is. The problem with the truck was a loose crankshaft balancer. ANOTHER DIESEL SHOP, found and fixed the problem and charged me $60.00.
