I called for my first appointment at this location, and like many people I was a little wary about trying a new salon. I asked if I could schedule with a stylist who was good with cutting short hair and Candace was recommended. Candace is a professional. She was skilled and attentive. I couldnt be more pleased with my haircut!

Called to inquire about hair donation and schedule my 5yr old an appointment. They where informative and helpful on the phone. The appointment went smashingly! It was my little ones first fancysalon experience and they made it great. Treated her like a VIP, she was ear to ear smiles the whole time. Its my favorite haircut shes ever gotten, just what she wanted! We had Jennifer and Id highly recommend both her and Nancy.

This is the only hair salon I will ever go to for my hair. Amanda and Nancy are simply amazing at what they do, youll never be disappointed! I personally have gotten so comfortable with Amanda that I tell her to try any color on my hair, and having gone there almost 4-5 years now I havent been disappointed once! I also worked there for a short time and its a fun place to work with amazing perks for someone like me who loves getting cool styles!

Very friendly staff. Great conversations during the session. Accommodating most of the time. Definitely would recommend getting an appointment prior to making the trip there - basically eliminates the wait time. Pictures usually help if you have something very specific in mind. I actually had a slight change of mind the day after my most recent haircut - they generously performed the slight alteration free of charge which I’m very grateful for!

My family of 3 have been coming here for years. We have had 3 GREAT stylists, & everyone is very friendly, willing to give their input when asked about colors & styles that are right or wrong for me. The owner is very friendly & runs a great shop. We LOVE Phyllis and hope she stays put for a good long while. Highly suggest South Lyon Fantastic Sams AND Phyllis!

I went in this salon today with my sister. We were turned down at another salon but here they let us right in and we were taken back within 5 minutes. My sister said she loved her stylist and that she did a great job. She used an online coupon so she got an amazing deal on a cut! She also said that she will continue to go to this salon from now on as oppose to the one we tried to go to. My stylist was Alma, or so it says on my receipt, and she was wonderful! I wanted to try a different style, and she worked with me on how much to cut it for my hair to look great (I had some bad split ends), she talked with me about how she will cut my hair in a way that will look more like the picture (I have fine hair and have been told many times by stylists that my hair just wont do that). She also taught me how to style it the way my picture shows, and gave me many other styling tid-bits and secrets! Then at the end, the salon had a great deal on some shampoo and conditioner sets, and she picked one out for me that would go best with my hair type. I have already taken many selfies and have been looking at my hair very often in the mirror! I am tucking away my receipt so I can pull it out again when I need to remember her name for next time!P.S. My receipt comes with money off for my next cut and a coupon to the Java House (next door to the salon).

Love my girl Nancy! She ran into my daughter at Target (where daughter works), told my daughter to say Hi and to make an apt. soon. ;)

I wanted a trim while keeping most of the length and the lady cut off way more that I told her to. I asked for texture and shape but I just got a bland mess. that is my last time going there. they repeatedly mess up my hair and i’m never satisfied.

Just walked in for a hair cut but was turned by Pam at the front desk because they don’t accept walk ins. Says clear as day on the website walk ins are welcome and no appointment necessary.

If you want your hair dyed brown, green, teal and purple (when you specifically asked for blue) uneven with the worst of the colorist and manager attitude this is the place to go and dont even ask for the warranty because they treat you with rudeness and as if you are crazy.I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!

This place stinks. I ask to get my hair thinned and they cut two inches off and give me a hair cut that makes me look like dora. I would never recommend to get your hair cut here. Theyll mess up your hair and not listen to your request
