I always take my vehicle here for oil changes. They do a great job. It is fast. They will tell me if they notice anything I should be aware of. They acknowledge veterans. Prices are reasonable too.

Experienced and considerate staff. They do great work at a good price. I never feel like Im being taking advantage of at all.

Been here a few times and will keep coming back after trying most of the other auto places here in South Lyon (Been to 3 others in the area the last 15 years). This is the place I tell my wife to bring her car to if she has any issues.

They said timing chain was good and after few days of having it home it went out...thats after I spent 1600 on other repairs.... Ruined motor...

Been going to this Tuffy since 2012. Always extremely honest and do great work. They have often tried to not charge me anything when the work didn’t take long. Best place to go to for general maintenance on a vehicle.

My car broke down in the highway close to the shop, found that my alternator required replacement. After the repair my vehicle experience additional issues, I attempted to get a refund with Tuffy Corporate which never came. Corporate would never call back or answer the phone, always voicemail. The guys at the shop were very nice about the inconvenience, they let me keep the new part and refunded $100 of labor. I was very frustrated with Tuffy but they took care of me at the franchise. If you have any issues or concerns please just talk with the fellas here, they will work with you!

These guys are amazing! Not only fair prices but they don’t try to up sell or try and sell you something you don’t need. Also, they’re honest about timeframe of how long job will take. And that means a lot so you can coordinate a ride and simply not worry because they give you realistic timeframes. All in all. I don’t go anywhere else.

I really like this place. I had to find a shop for the repairs I needed this time instead of doing them in the garage. Checked around and looked at reviews and found that Tuffy pretty much had 5 stars. I can see why. The gentleman in the office (I unfortunately cant remember his name...I think Doug?) is one of the nicest people Ive ever met. He got my car in, gave me an estimate and didnt try to upsell me with fluids or brakes or anything else unnecessary. More importantly, he didnt talk down to me like most shops Ive been to have done.When I took my car in for the repairs, it was done before the end of the day at the estimated price. Car is running great and in the unfortunate circumstance I have to have repairs again, Im definitely going back. No question.

Staff is very courteous and the service was affordable and prompt. Very impressed with my first visit. Had sway bar linkages replaced same day at a lower than expected price. Will take my vehicles here the next time I need service.

There are a ton of Places to pick from when it comes to getting your vehicle worked on in SL... Ive used more than a few and I have to say I really like going here. They are always very fair in price, prompt with their work and never once have tried charging me for something I feel I do not need. The best part is they have always been able to work around my schedule and on a number of occasions been done with my car before the quoted time. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get any general maintenance or repairs done to their vehicle.

This is your classic Tuffy’s. Bit overpriced, courteous staff that try and get an extra purchase out of you, but overall an industry standard place with nothing special or nothing too negative. If you’re desperate you can go here

What seemed like a good experience at first was soured when 2 months after spending almost a thousand dollars on brakes, I had to put my truck back in the shop because of the steering wheel violently shaking when I applied the brakes. I took my truck to a different shop instead of going back to Tuffy. Turns out Tuffy installed my pads incorrectly and caused premature wear. Not pleased about spending another 400 shortly after getting a full brake job done at Tuffy.

Needed brakes, rotors, and calipers. Went to another place and it was going to take all day. I didnt have all day. Came to Tuffy in South Lyon and they got me right in and gave me a competitive price. They were extremely nice about everything. Going to be coming here again!

Honest guys. Cant tell you how much its appreciated. My wifes GMC Terrain was in the dealership getting some warranty work done and I was told I needed front brakes. I dropped it off at Tuffy expecting to have the brakes done. After inspection the guys at Tuffy said we have at least another 15000 miles on the pads. They didnt charge me anything. Ill be back Thanks Tuffy.

Great shop dropped of my vehicle for some routine maintence was in and out with no problems. Price was under what I was quoted and they even fixed some extra things that were loose for free. :)

Asked them what i wanted and they did it. They dont try to push you into unnecessary services. I would definitely go here again.
