My power steering was going out. Was able to buy the hose to fix it. Got back on the road after fixing it in the AutoZone parking lot 😁

Car needed a battery, was suggested that I get it from AutoZone, so I called on my way from Ann Arbor to South Lyons...they said they could install the battery and would wait for me to arrive. Once I arrived they checked the old battery...it was dead after 6 years...so I bought the new one and they installed it in 86° heat. Thanks AutoZone for being so helpful and honest!

Service at this auto has gone way down part people are way to chatty I could see if they were talking about parts or repair but Joe and the lady with the odd colored hair they tend to talk about personal life issues without regard for customers waiting in line Ive waited in line listen to gabbing Ive saw customer leave lack of service the general manager should take look at store servalance camera footage I go to auto parts store to buy part not hear stores

The staff need to learn how to make sure they order the correct parts. To many times they do not listen to me on the correct engine size and order the correct parts. I go inperson and look at the computer to make sure they get it right.

I went in the store kinda clueless with what I needed and the salesman Tom was so kind and helpful. He gave me great advice for my car and got me the supplies I needed without wasting my money. I will go back again.

They lost a customer. walked in on Sunday morning. customer at counter was not wearing a mask and both employees were not not either. there was plexiglass all along the counter so I figured that was ok. But when I explained I needed wiper blades and they were not in the book, the lady just came out from the counter and started telling me about the blades tmright in front of me. I had my mask on and just stopped her and told her I needed to leave. This was on Jaunary 17 when new records of Covid were being broken every day. Covid is real, this establishment didnt respect my safety and assuming does not respect the safety of their others customers as well.Sorry to say.

I have a new vehicle with a blown fuse. I knew from the manual which fuse I needed but wasn’t sure where the fuse box was and which fuse to replace. Jared assisted me in finding the correct fuse and then went to my vehicle and replaced it for me. He greeted me pleasantly when I entered the store and it turned out to be a rewarding experience. Stopped to get help with finding wiper blades that worked better for my vehicle. Spoke to Joe and had a really good and helpful discussion regarding wipers and how they work for different types of vehicles. Overall great service. Would recommend.

My car died at the car wash today, we were able to get it started after praying. I called Auto Zone in S. Lyon and Mitch told me they had 1 battery left for my Honda Fit, we headed over there and Joe put it in for us. I cant tell you how grateful I am for Auto Zone and the help they give. These guys have started to go down hill a bit. The other local auto parts store are much nicer on the phone and you dont have to talk to a manager to get the right answer all the time like you do here. Aaron and Eric are the only two here that have a clue, or maybe care.

This is where I recommend many of my friends, (especially single women who dont know much about cars) to come if they are having car problems. I like Auto Zone because you can get free computer diagnostics here and you have a good place to start with troubleshooting the problem. Youll often save time, stress and money by knowing whats wrong with your car and by purchasing your own parts.

I love this store. The staff there are friendly and helpful. They also recycle my oil and are happy to receive it.

Great encounters with the store until they wouldn’t wait 4 min after closing time for me to make an exchange. I even explained my car was up on a friends hoist, but still couldn’t wait a couple min. Ridiculous.

PLEASE DRIVE THE EXTRA .1 OF A MILE TO Advanced auto parts or O’Reilly’s, because the customer service is HORRIBLE. I was never so appalled at such horrible service I returned my items and purchased them at a different location.

Friendly staff. They helped me find a rear wiper blade for my car that was not listed in their system, but it was on the shelf. Apparently that happens.

The people at this store are completely incompetent and lack even the basic automotive knowledge! Every time I visit this store I have to return 2-3 times to get the correct parts or even a full refund! Recently I did an oil change on my Ford F-150 and not only did they supply me with the wrong oil filter but also the wrong oil! How hard is it screw up an oil change? Especially with a computer with all the information in front of you? Apparently extremely easy if you work at this AutoZone! Every time I come to this AutoZone I end up at the OReillys (located at 9 mile and Pontiac trail) not only did they supply me with the correct parts but it was actually cheaper! I will never give this store my paytronage again! I highly recommend visiting any other local auto parts store in South Lyon before even considering this joke of a store. It amazes me how the same 4 employees can cotinuesly mess up every project Ive ever worked on and still stay in business. Anyone considering doing business with these professionals I strongly suggest visiting any other store before resoting to the stupidity offered at this store.

Very good store, Ive been going there for years now and I think the staff is the best its ever been. Yes they dont stock many parts but the help, and knowledge is worth it just to stop by and chat! Whenever I go down the street to Oreilleys, or Advance, I find them not helpful, kind of cold, and just not as knowledgeable. There is a reason Autozone is always packed....
