They have a great selection of business casual clothing. I was able to find several outfits for my new job. My main complaint is: before we started shopping, we asked the check out associate about a coupon. We had her explain it and then started shopping. I was on a budget and had been working from home for years so I needed a ton of clothes. We checked out with the same person and she said the coupon only applies to this (one thing)... the rest doesnt qualify. I asked why she didnt say that when we talked to her originally and she just shrugged. She said there was nothing she could do that we either needed to pay the tag price or put them back. I had already spent 2 hours picking 10 outfits and trying on clothes so I paid WAY more than I was planning to.+ = great selection- = poorly trained staff and vague coupon policies

We had a really great experience buying a suit for my son and were helped by a couple of employees at different times. Certainly appreciated the customer service!

Clean store. Friendly staff. Im not sure of the cut off time but they did allow me a 24 hour hold on clothing I was debating for a family photo shoot. Greatly appreciated. A small Sephora is located within. Numerous entry points to the store. No longer require masks but signs present to keep 6 ft apart. Shields still present at check outs.

Curbside pickup is a joke. Spent 20 minutes waiting outside after checking on, then another 15 inside to get my pickup order. Would have been faster to shop in person.

Went to buy an outfit for my mother for her birthday and was hoping to get a shirt, capri and canvas shoes for less than $100 and I found the perfect outfit and shoes for only $84, thanks to the checkout lady that had an extra 25% off coupon if I used my JCPenny card. My mother loved it.

Fun Place shop at but clearance items never marked when I look and clearance items dont seem likes good price like other stores..Sephora department Amanda and rachel rock...but I wish they could bring back the Sephora products and color chosing help..how are gals suppose to be supportive if cant try on the consumer...they want to help but cant....that clothes are short in sizes and makes me mad but Im at least happy they there so we can shop...I enjoy the experience overall and thank employees.

The store had curbside pickup parking, but when I went to the app to notify the store, it said curbside pickup was not available at this location. However, the woman at the pickup desk carried my purchase to my car.

The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is they have a mask policy but I saw so many people without one. If you have a policy, enforce it. Also because people obviously dont know how to wear a mask perhaps put a picture up on how to wear one. I love Pennys it is a great place to shop. If you are serious about the safety of your customers enforce your policies. I counted almost a dozen people with no masks and another half dozen wearing them around their chin.

There shipping charges are to high and they do not have the items in store that are on line

Air conditioning was either not working or not turned on. The dressing rooms were run down and very dirty. Clothes were in piles on the display tables. Limited selection.

BEWARE OF EMAIL SALES FROM JCPENNEYSIf I could give a 0 star I would. What the ad states and what you pay for are not the same. Make sure you print your order if you are paying with paypal. They send the stuff at different times and you no longer get sale prices. I still have not received items I ordered nov. 30. I was given the option to pick up that night. Calling before I went they had no order and no idea of what I was talking about. Reordering I received 2 of the 6 items I had. They to date have billed me for both orders and when you call customer service they cannot help you. You have to contact the local store even when you order them online. I did send me a gift card for jcp on the 22nd for the original items saying they had never been picked up( even though they told me they had no order)Also the additional savings I was supposed to get on the extra discount given that night were never given.

Today I visited Sephora, and the hispanic girl who attended us was super nice very detail oriented, and has a lot of product knowledge. The next we go to Sephora she would be the first person we would go to for questions.

That’s disappointing the item size and its size on box were different and then I went to return it to the mall and then I got another one and when I opened box at home again different size inside and also some are missing 🤷🏻‍♀️

Super busy but still enough space not to feel packed. Seems like some good sales going on

I really like and enjoy jc pennys and shop there often however, they have a real problem with staffing cash registers. Throughout the store they have several areas set aside as cashier areas but most are closed or never maned. If it were me Id make it real easy and convenient for customers to spend money with me. I truly hope jcpenney makes it am just trying to offer feedback for improvement.

At check out their was line of 4 people. The ones checking out were finished when a girl came up and put ALLOT on the counter very late i would say. Tye cashier let them start with checking them out AGAIN. She should have said you have to go to the end of the line. But of course she didnt. SO everything we had went back on your shelves.

I love coming here to see all the amazing suits, slacks and sport coats! There is always something to find and it is almost always at a great price! Also, it is one of the few places that sells suit separates. Which is great for a guy like me with a broad chest and a smaller waist. Thanks JCPenney!

Def wasnt too bad. They had a sale on little backpack type of handbags and had some priced accordingly and some not. However the staff was pretty great with sales stuff, always looking up coupons to save and overriding the ticket if it was supposed to be on sale but the system didnt catch it.

Ive always been able to find things that I liked at JCPenney. They have good sales, in general, and good quality clothing. Unfortunately, they have had to reduce staff over the years so the stores havent been kept up quite as much. However, it would certainly be sad to see them go out of business. I think they fill a niche and the one in Sioux Falls always has lots of customers.

JCPenney. My go to store for clothes. Dress Shirts, Dress Pants, ties, undies, Tees, and believe it or not, shoes. Their classic Wings are the best and super comfortable. Not so much golf, fishing, or hunting clothes but for dress, hard to beat Vanhussen.

Good prices. Bought more than intended.

The people were nice, and the sales were good but the store was an absolute wreck! Piles of unfolded shirts and stacks of things completely disheveled. It was a real turn off. If the total value of your items exist in the quality and care of how your story is presented then feel grateful that I gave you three stars.

Yes folks JCPenney is still there! Stop in and check them out. They do have a great assortment of stock and they always have super sales. Its worth your visit. Get it while they are still in business folks.

JCPENNEY in general is an amazing store! Tons of options at incredibly reasonable prices, all the time! This location doesnt dissappoint. Tons of options, amazing prices, and some very cute new items. Even has a salon and photo studio. We found a new swimsuit and several new tops during our visit.

JC Penny is an old-style department store which could offer some really nice things, but I found the mens clothing section overstuffed and difficult to find items. Shelves were not neat or tidy. Racks of pants and shirts were out of order and it was difficult and time consuming to seek out where the sizes were since so much was out of order. Staff was nice when I could find someone, but overall the store feels cluttered to me. Prices seem pretty high.

I n ordered a ring on March 27th and I needed by this weeek and I’m trying to reach out to customer service and whatever but no one is answering the call. Even on the automated system they said they would open on April, 2nd and still not open. If we did order an item you should take the responsibility to ship it to them. Never ordering anything from you guys again!

I love JCPennys. I always have. There clothes are quality, and there sales are great! I guess Im not sure why everyone says their struggling. I feel like they always have something that you need.

Really appreciated the helpful staff that helped me locate 2 cago pants in my size. No one else carries cargo pants anymore. No one else has had any pants (or even brand name jeans) in my size. Got a great deal, essentially got 2 for the price of 1.

I had an exchange and the girl was very nice explaining they only do returns at the south entrance now.

Only 4 stars because there AC wasnt working. Been going there for years. Hope they dont close.

Our visit was pretty basic, looking for shoes. Got an ear full about signing up for a credit card even after saying no, that was annoying. Nobody in shoes to help but we found what we were looking for.

While it has alot of options, its a bit pricey for my taste. I can get the same or even better looking and quality elsewhere at a fraction of the prices here.

Terry was very helpful in the suit department. I didnt know anything about suits and he helped me right out and I got a great looking suit.

I have been going to this JCPenney since I was a kid because of their good deals, and great clothes. No big deal. BUT NOW I SING THEIR PRAISES. My husband is active duty Air Force and has been deployed to an undisclosed location. They have nothing where they are. They all had to bring a pillow and they have the most basic of basic mattress on the floor to sleep on. (You know how it is, if you go on a weekend trip and bring the wrong pillow from home... try sleeping on it for months and in a 0 star hotel) So when I asked my husband what else they could REALLY use, he said mattress pads and pillows. So I told my mom in case we come across deals anywhere to have an extra set of eyes. My mom used to work at Pennies and asked for a manager so she could have box of pillows shipped to them (she is the best military mom ever!) Well they didnt just help my mom, they helped my husbands whole squadron. My husband misses me and our 2 kids more than ever, and he isnt the only one over there feeling that way. His whole team is sleeping a little bit better because of THIS JCPenney. And to top it off, they looked at my moms list and took the whole thing seriously. They went out and got laundry pods, tons of hygienic products and snacks to boot. Please support this store. They not only supported my mom, my husband, but they supported your country; and they did it without hesitation my mom said, and with all the heart and passion possible. It literally brings tears to my eyes, that my husband can seriously sleep better at night with all the work he has to do, and all the meanwhile, missing us so much! Thank You Sioux Falls JCPenney!
