Truthfully, the only thing I would change about our entire wedding experience is doing business with David Jones. From the initial consultation we had a very “off” feeling. David was rude and unprofessional during the consultation. We had been searching for specific pants for the groomsmen that only David had, so we decided to proceed. I had little to no faith in them during the process. They demanded that all wedding party members come in to get measured within 14 days of the consultation, or they would be charged. Out of 8 total pants for the 8 men in the wedding party, 7 of them needed tailoring or alterations that the wedding party were required to pay for. We further found out that David did not even order the pants based on measurements, but rather “guessed” on all sizes. One of my groomsmen was forced to go to another place two days before the wedding to get the pants altered for a 3rd time because David had still not got them correct. The day of the wedding, some of the men explained that their pants still did not fit them well. Furthermore, all 8 men did not have the same shirt. Some had pockets, some didn’t. While they were all the same color, they were not the same shirt. The men in the wedding party ultimately looked very nice the day of the wedding and everything turned out fine, but all in all, nobody really got what they paid for. Their process is extremely unorthodox and unorganized. I would not go to David Jones if I had to do it all over again.

I had a very important meeting at which I was going to attend. David Jones fashion offered me first-class treatment.David gave me a very nice classy suit.It needed some touch-ups.I was surprised at how fast I got it ,and I was able to successfully attend my meeting.Everybody who saw me was impressed with the quality of the suit and kept wondering where I got it.David puts customers first, hes friendly and he gives you honest advice(I mean this )on fashion because not only fashion is his profession + many years of experience,he knows what he’s doing .I strongly recommend working with him on all your fashion and event needs!One last thing!!!

I can attest to the quality of this store, great customer service and a great experience over all. They had me in and out within the hour (as I did not have a lot of time) and never felt rushed. I would recommend this store to anyone in need of formal attire.

We were walking by, popped in on a whim - and found our new favorite men’s store. My husband bought a very nice shirt, and the owner David tailored it immediately while we waited. Perfect fit! The store has a variety of men’s clothing: Casual, stylish and high quality, as well as suits and formalwear. We will be back!

May I just say, WHAT A HEADACHE! In all honestly in the craziness of wedding planning, buying Tuxs from David Jones Fashions was the only downfall that I regret. We just got married August 2021 and we went in to get fitted/bought our tuxs for the bridal party in March (almost a half a year in advance). Our initial visit was fine and we chose to purchase black tuxs for the wedding since rental/buying is around the same price. All of the men went in together to get measured (which they didnt really measure, just guessed) and ordered the tuxs in. In late July when the tuxs came in, EVERY SIZE WAS WRONG! Plus, they ordered the wrong shirt that I had asked for. I called many times trying to fix this issue and they told me that it was my mistake (may I add, the bride is NEVER wrong). They reordered for correct sizes, now after measuring, and continued to make our wedding party keep coming in to get refit and most lived more than 3 hours away. Some of our groomsmen didnt get their tux until the day before. In addition, all of the shirts were wrong once again and we eventually just went to Mens Warehouse for those. David was very rude to myself and the whole bridal party during this process and talked down to us like we knew nothing. At least he had once nice young female employee that was the only reason we returned at all. In the end, we ordered everything but the pants and jackets from other places because David Jones was so unreliable. I would NOT EVER RECOMMEND going to this place of business for your big day! (Thank goodness for good looking groomsmen and a photographer for making the men look so good for the big day!)

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. My husband and I trusted them to do tuxes for our wedding. In total, we needed 11 tuxes. Only 3 of the 11 were good. Our wedding party had to go in multiple times to get them altered & had to pay for every single alteration even though it was NOT our fault as they are the ones that took our measurements. “Mr. Jones” was also incredibly rude. For example, one groomsman’s pants looked more like leggings & you could literally see the muscles in his legs through the pants. He could not have bent over or even bent his knees or it would’ve ripped. He told them it wasn’t comfortable & wasn’t going to work. Mr jones said “well have you ever worn a tux before? This is how it’s supposed to fit”.Not only was he rude to customers, but also to the poor girls working there. I will absolutely never recommend them to anyone & wish we would’ve went elsewhere for our wedding. What a disaster.

Top quality products at a reasonable price. The staff is highly professional and courteous. David Jones personally worked with me to ensure my suit fit perfectly. He was also extremely patient and spent almost 30 minutes to help me pick out a dress shirt with a demeanor that made the experience fun and showed how much he valued providing the best possible experience to his customers.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. My fiancée and I made an appointment and arrived ten minutes early. We were told by unbeknownst to us, the owner David Jones, that we would be helped at our appointment time. He was helping someone else and we knew we were early. We were seated and waited 45 minutes after our appointment time to be helped. David Jones talked over us the entire appointment and was very aggressive and rude. He repeatedly interrupted and told us there was no obligation and we didnt have to buy from them. It was severely uncomfortable, but we decided to give them a second chance. David said he would get back to us after he looked for the color suit I had requested. He never called back and I called back three times. I was told he would call back and he never did. After a few weeks, we looked somewhere else and found a great suit. I dont recommend this shop to anyone, ever.

Needed to be measured for a suit that was being purchased in a different city, called and was told they do free fitting appointments. Showed up and Riley was incredibly helpful and provided me with everything I needed. 10/10 will come back to David Jones.

If I said I was less than impressed, that would be a huge understatement. 4 out of the 6 guys in my sons wedding, had wrong size pants. My son, the groom, even went back in to get the right size, because he literally couldnt even sit down, and was told that he must have gained weight. When in fact he lost weight. He had to pay for the tailoring on a new pair of pants, which is wrong. They messed up when measuring, not my son! Two other groomsmen were also extremely tight. One actually went and bought a pair of black pants at a box store in case he ripped them out. He was so miserable and decided to change even before the wedding began.When I went in to pick up my other sons suit, I was met with the owner and was told I needed to make an appointment but it would only take a couple minutes to tailor. None of this was ever explained to us on the process. He took about 5 minutes to lecture me on the process.As I was waiting to pay, I was then lectured on his political views. I couldnt get out of that place fast enough, but he took his time as he felt the need to make a point. Saying we shouldnt have large gatherings. Um excuse me...arent you in business for large gatherings? You have no problem profiting from these gatherings.Just when I thought I was in the clear to leave, he walked me to my car and placed the suit in my car. VERY CREEPY!I would NEVER recommend this place. He didnt take care of his client and they spent good money in his store.

I went into this store with great expectations of our son and his groomsmen having the best experience. We specifically chose this store so they would have a decent suit to keep after the wedding. Listening to the entire sales pitch from David himself about the amazing service for weddings and personal tailoring service (at least twice), how could we go wrong?This was nothing shy of a terrible experience - the promises of calling all the wedding party for their measurements (which never happened), the empty promises of suits being on the way when they weren’t even ordered yet, paying for the higher end suits and getting the cheap ill-fitted suits instead, the chaos in the store and disorganization of the complete experience, was the worst.This is our 3rd wedding in 5 years, we know what we can expect. Total waste of money!

How David Jones even has 4.9 stars is mind boggling. But our experience is the exact same as the other 1 stars. It has to be acquaintances of the owner. I wish I would of read the reviews before considering this place. We can relate to all of the other negative reviews and 100% say they are all SO true and the exact same experience for us as well. From our first appointment he was over 30 minutes late, acted like we didn’t have an appointment when we did. He made me, my fiancé, and my maid of honor feel like we weren’t supposed to be there. Stared at us like we were wasting his time and didn’t take the time to listen to us and just kept looking at his watch.David Jones is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. He lost ALL but 3 of our 9 measurements. He even lost my fiancé’s, the actual groom measurements which David Jones took himself. He changed his story so many times, at one point saying I was going to bring them to the store. When he physically took my fiancé’s measurements himself. No one would return our calls when we would ask for more information, so I finally drove out to the store to see what was going on and give address for the suits to be shipped. He got confused in his own mess it was an embarrassment.I left BAWLING. And all he did was make up lies, blame me, would not stop rambling about a contract for an appointment and I shouldn’t even be in his store. He doesn’t even stop talking long enough to let you defend yourself and just blames you for his errors and took no accountability.We ended up getting our deposit back and dodged a huge bullet with this business. He even said that the only way he would give our money back is if we wouldn’t go on the internet and slander his business. This is nothing but an honest review from factual situations. And if our review with the exact same experience like the others saves someone else the trouble, he could of kept our money. It’s bad and I would never recommended David Jones.

Service was ok but my suit turned out awful and I was just told “that’s how it’s supposed to fit”. So I asked around to some others in the wedding party and they all said they had issues too. Ended looking like I was wearing balloon pants at the wedding. And to top it all off I was called by one of the managers and chewed out for talking bad about them and not “communicating”. I’m sorry but the suits there are a little on the spendy side and I figured they would have a lot better service. I have absolutely no idea how this place has 5 stars.

Theres awful service and then theres these people.VERY unprofessional during our sit down to discuss my tuxedo sizes; David, I am assuming who was helping us kept watching the TV on the wall rather than assisting us with my measurements.I was told that this company would call my groomsmen, get their measurements and then get the suits made and sent off. That did not happen obviously since Im taking time to actually write out this reviewI did not have to do anything but wait, but boy did I wait; waited for them to NOT do their job, make MY wedding plans difficult and take my money (NON REFUNDABLE by the way).So, if youre up for losing money, come on in! if not, go to a Mens Warehouse or a reputable chain for formal ware; not some local shop with no sense of business ethics.The fact that I can only give one star and no stars for this review disgusts me.

The staff here went above and beyond, they were willing to order a shirt for me, steam depressed no extra charge, even stayed late to make sure that I got the shirt that I wanted oh, and even walked it out to my car, cant recommend them enough!

This is store is awesome, came in and gave them what I was going for. They were able to work with the look I wanted and made some recommendations as what to go with. We ended up finding something that worked, and they also took care of steaming my suit to make sure that I would look my best at my event. I would STRONGLY recommend anyone to this place for any look that they are going for.

They were absolutely fantastic! I forgot all my dress clothes for a wedding and was running out of options. They were able to get me a shirt in my size and fit it to my length in minutes! Very professional and just great guys to deal with. Highly recommend for any occasion.

We were very optimistic going into David Jones to get suits for our wedding, but realized as time went on that they are very difficult to work with. They were not good at updating us as to the status of our suits, nor the timelines. We had to continually call, and at one point were told that we were a few weeks late to do fittings, of which we were never informed of. They would call after we had contacted them to save face, but would never remember or be ready for any appointments we made. All our men paid in full for the suits just to make things easier, but when the world took a turn our wedding plans changed to continue without a bridal party. David Jones understandably would not refund the deposit, but would also not refund the additional balance for suits they no longer needed. They had not been tailored or even touched, as we tried to explain to David. The responses we got in return were very unprofessional and began turning into harassment as they would talk over us and not let us explain our situation. We would never return there for any reason nor recommend them.

I needed to get sized for a suit for a wedding and the experience was quick and easy with measurements. I plan on returning to this location for future formal wear needs!

We were looking for some nice dress shirts and they usually do not fit me because no matter where I shop are you my arms are too long my chest is too wide and my stomach is too skinny. So 10 minutes in the store found a shirt that fit and they tailored it very quickly for me and I am walking out with a very well fitting sure but did not cost me an arm and a leg. thanks David Jones new at the Sioux Falls Mall
