Thornton Flooring put new carpet in our basement and did a phenomenal job! They did everything in one day and even vacuumed the whole area when they were done. We met with Nick and Jason to pick out the flooring in the store and they gave great insight in terms of what would be best for our family. I can be indecisive when overwhelmed with so many options but they made it effortless and I love the carpet we picked out. The price was very reasonable for high quality carpet and they were able to keep everything within our budget. The crew who did the install were very friendly and courteous. I felt like they went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with the install and they left my house cleaner than when they arrived. 10/10 would recommend this company for anyone who is looking to get new flooring installed. We will definitely be back!

I have bought flooring from Thornton before. They have always been kind and true to what they commit to. They are helpful and not pushy. This time around is no different. I have recommended them to others over the years.

While in the store staff was helpful, but when calling with questions or to make final decisions it was always leave a message on voicemail. That is not so bad except the calls were never returned. Very poor customer service and will take our business elsewhere.

I always buy all my carpet and flooring here they have lots of different choices of floors carpets padding they also give you a choice of installation and I had angel come and do my flooring What a wonderful job he did I wouldnt go anywhere else. Good sales practices, not too pushy, and felt heard. Lots of product to choose from, and when we made a decision, we paid, had cuts done, rolled and they loaded us up quickly. We shopped as DIYers, so no experience with the bid/measure/install process. Also shopped the one evening they are open late (Mondays until 8:00pm), so it wasnt busy, but service was good and fast. Product looks really good so far! Felt like pricing was good, too.

Everything went really smooth and the carpet layer was very good. We love our new carpet.

2nd time we have used them. Overall we are very happy with them. As can happen on a remodeling project. We had a minor hiccup or two. But ultimately. They started/finished on time. They were knowledgeable and courteous. The job looks pretty damn good. Well use them next project.

We had some damage to the wood floor in our house. We contacted Thorton to arrange for someone to repair the seven boards that were damaged. We provided the boards for the repair. The gentleman who came to fix the floor did a great job. However my issue is that it took him approximately two hours to replace the seven boards and we were charged $850 for the repairs. I don’t mind paying somebody a fair wage for their work, but $425 per hour is excessive. After expressing my concern to Thorton they did get the price reduced to $650 but I still feel like that is a tremendous amount to pay for two hours of labor.

We worked with Tyler and he was very helpful. We did some wild things with tile that most would not have done, but wow did it come out great. We found the tile to be very consistent in dimensions and high quality. We went with the Acacia flooring and it is beautiful. We ordered extra because we thought there would be about 10 percent waste. We had very little waste and they were helpful with returning the extra. Because it was a stocked product there was not return charge. It was a wonderful experience. We are 400 miles from their store but we saved enough that it was well worth the trip.

We remodeled a bathroom so we only looked at the tile selections. We found a good variety tile choices at reasonable prices. We had a great experience working with Tyler Burrows. He explained all the different types and styles of tiles and was a huge help with design ideas. Tyler also did an excellent job calculating the correct amount of materials for our job so we were not left with a large amount of extra tile. We will probably be remodeling another bathroom next year and will head back to Thorntons to work with Tyler for our tile needs.

Thornton Flooring did our carpet in the entire house. We also had ceramic put in the kitchen and bathroom. We were very impressed with the installer and the quality of work they provided. We updated our home recently, including putting in both new tile and carpet in our whole house. I started asking family and friends and everyone recommended me to Thornton Flooring. They were easy to work with and helped us save some money too!

I went into Thornton Flooring today at 3:40 PM. I was greeted by the receptionist who reminded me they closed in 20 min. I told her I was aware of this. She said the sales people make her say it. I was led back to an extremely hot location to look at carpet . Probably around 10 min later a salesman came in and looked totally annoyed that I was even there. He was absolutely no help at all. I guess I will definitely be taking my flooring needs somewhere else. Very terrible customer service Thornton Flooring!!

Poor experience. The installer did significant damage to the floor trim and the corners of the wall/ceiling. He also carpeted over a floor vent. Rather than sending someone out right away to fix the issue they told the installer to call me back…he never called. Thornton’s did compensate me for the damages but still a poor experience.Also, pay attention to the square footage on the quote. Ours was much higher than necessary. They’ll only buy back unused carpet if it’s enough to sell as a remnant. Do your own measurements and compare them to those that are used for the quote. The salesman eventually agreed to drop the price after I pointed out the measurement differences.

The project went flawlessly. Drew and his crew worked diligently until the floor was completed- ahead of schedule. They all did a great job!

Great selection and you can see the whole role of carpet not just a little square. It was only a few days wait between my selection and installation of new carpet. Instalation crew was really helpful, friendly, and careful . Salesman got back to me right away when I had questions. Overall my experience went really smooth and timely.

I got great sales service and advice on both carpet, pads and vinyl when installed nearly 2 years ago. The installation was perfect too all is wearing well and still looks like new.Im VERY pleased with results and service!

Was given a quote 100 sq ft larger than two other estimates. When I questioned the company, they assured me I would be able to return any extra unopened flooring for a full refund. When my project was finished, I had over 100 sq ft left. When I acquired about the refund, they told me this type of flooring was not eligible for a refund. There was no mention of any flooring not being eligible for a refund. I tried reaching out to the company multiple times and received little feedback and eventually my calls were ignored. Very shady business practice that really ruined my experience.Edit: Was contacted by general manager and received refund for extra quoted flooring.

Not only is Thornton Flooring such a great business because of the quality work they do. They also give back to the community by donating. I cannot say enough good things about the business.

The sales people are knowledgeable, attentive and really worked to get me the look I wanted. Installation was easy to schedule and the installer showed up on time and was very careful to clean up after the job was done.

I ordered some tile and after a month I was informed that the materials were lost in transit. It took another month for the reordered materials to come in causing multiple project delays and unhappy customers. After some back and forth they did end up refunding the cost of the materials. If I were to go back I would make sure to get shipping info so that I could track my materials.

Matt, the owner, was very nice and did a great job for us. He found us things that were in our budget. I also liked that I never felt pushed to make a decision right then and there while we were visiting.

I am so happy with the choice that my family and I made to go to Thornton Flooring. Julie was such a great assistance to us as well as patient when we were indecisive with the final decision. The installation process was conducted very precisely and the end results were beautiful.

We went in to Thorntons to order flooring for our whole house, plus a sunroom that was in the process of being added onto the house. We paid for it up front except for the family room, because we were living in the basement while the kitchen was being remodeled. We continue to receive billls from Thorntons even though everything was already paid. We have been to the store several times to discuss the errors on the billing and were told we would receive a refund check. We have not received a refund check, we received another bill! I do NOT recommend Thorntons to anyone.

As one of the previous posts made that they had the same experience as us , we drove 100 miles to get a bid from them and not one person would help us!!! We walked around what seemed like an eternity even amongst the sales reps. not one time did anyone ask us if we needed help! I cannot tell you how angry I was when we said we give up and left! Meet and greet within 5 feet people!!!!! Your customer service is horrible! Get off your damn phones, quit talking amongst your selves and pay attention to your customers!!! We went across the street to flooring America, totally different experience! Most likely will get our business. Thanks thortons for making an already stressful day even worse.
