I asked for a quote to get my impeller replaced on a mercury 9.8. The quote was $1000.00! These guys over charge big time - go elsewhere

I would highly recommend Vector Yacht services to other boaters. They are super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They were super efficient at doing a full services on my 2 Bravo legs in March 2018 and have never disappointed me.

How is it that a boat yard doesnt have a ramp? 200 $ to travel - lift a 16 ft. boat out of the water to do an engine service is freaking ridiculous.We will NEVER use this place again.

I talked to them in June and had detailed discussions about repairing my boat, which then I made arrangements to have my boat dropped off right after the long weekend. They said they would be able to turn the job around in two weeks. After 1 week I phone to see how the job is going. They dont remember me and said I was wonder whos boat that was in the yard. It all came back to them and due to extremely poor service I dont see my boat for almost 4 months. Poor communications, only called me 3 times in 4 months, always went to my voice mail, when I returned the call the person was unavailable and would never phoned back. I always had to go out there to talk to someone. At least one of the reviews are by people that work there.

I purchased a brand new boat that was commissioned in Seattle. From day one the Yanmar engine had multiple problems and after some run time would stall out at idle. Stressful when trying to anchor around other boats. We sat at the dock in Seattle for two months while 3 different firms hired to get the boat running came on and off the boat, finally declaring that the engine was fixed and they were not coming back. The engine was not fixed and our first day out returning to Canada the engine died again at Deception Pass anchorage. We got it running again and brought it to one of the Vector locations in Sidney. In 2 days they had the problem nailed down and the engine is now running great. Mark, Doug, Trevor and Stan, we can not thank you guys enough. Great job ! I highly recommend these guys.

Truely a professional team lead by Callum Sutherland. I really appreciated their thoroughly researching our Yanmar Saildrive issue by calling other leading experts at Land-Sea Power in Delta, Boatswain in Costa Mesa, and Mack Boring in NJ before cracking open our drive. Not only did they quickly and correctly find root cause, they made the case and successfully convinced Yanmar on our behalf to pay parts and labor despite being out of warranty. Thats service!
