The standard back issues and current books are made apparent once you enter the store. What sets Atomic comics different is the Golden and Sliver age CGC books. The staff has a vast knowledge of first appearances and fair pricing. Various pop culture toys and trade paper backs as well.

Guy who owns it is really nice. No tables for playing games. Has a collection of Pokemon and MTG cards. Lots of well organized comics. Also carries some boardgames and collectibles.

Id give zero stars if I could. You know the condescending comic book shop owner in that very long-running cartoon set in a town called Springfield? This place is run by somebody even less likable than that.

The dude made me feel like I was a nuisance or bothering him for asking him to let me look through his back issues of walking dead. He was more worried about setting up his magic cards than making a sale, had he not come off like a d**k, I would have bought every issue. Although, his prices were way higher for Walking Dead back issues than any other shop I’ve encountered. I’d rather buy my back issues offline than give this dude 1 cent!

Ive been going to Atomic Comics the past few years and its been nothing but a good experience. My pull list is always correct, staff is friendly, and if they dont have something Im looking for, they go and find it for me.

Walked in a day before, told me I had some rare Pokémon cards in mint to sell. They said bring them in any time tomorrow. We shook hands. I come the next day and wait 45 minutes for him to chat on the phone with his buddy. Other customers walk in and walk out because hes on the phone. He then argues with everything I throw at spitting vague techniques to make me think my mint shadowless holographic alakazam is worth $19 and thats what he sells them for. He disrespected my time, disprespected my collection, and disrespected any thing I said to him. Do not trade with atomic comics. Do not trade with rude people, theres no need. Online prices will always be better than this store anyway.
