New employees have turned this into an excellent facility with top notch customer service. This is a great option for those that live in South Lake Union. Highly recommended.

I went to Seattle Vault Self Storage and recieved perfect service from Brad. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything that has to do with moving and set me up very quickly. If you want friendly service I recommend coming here to Seattle Vault Self Storage. They have a loading bay and U-Haul to help you move in. Brad was able to set me up with U-Haul and a Unit all in done stop. I could not be more thankful.

In between moving and getting new furniture, so needed some space to store things. We currently live in a studio apartment, and starting to receive shipment of new things. We contacted Seattle Vault today and was able to get a storage space + uhaul rental on the same day! The assistant property manager, Bradley Rice, was amazing throughout this whole process. He even stayed during after hours to help us unload our boxes out of the uhaul. Can’t believe that we were able to do all of this within 2 hours! Thank you so much Bradley! Exceptional customer service on your part!

Seattle Vault Self Storage is excellent. The new staff is a great team that goes above and beyond to make sure we are happy with our service. I always feel welcomed and have every confidence that my storage unit is safe and secure. Reasonable rates, too! This is the place to use for storage if you live downtown to capitol hill.

Super helpful staff - Came in 5 mins before the office closed and they still helped me out half an hour after that as well. I used their storage as well and while its annoying that one of the staff members has to operate the lift, the guy was still running around to make sure it wasnt a hassle for me.

This place aint perfect but aint nothin ever been perfect. Do NOT use this location! My experience couldnt have been worse, and you should avoid at all costs unless you want terrible customer service and a refusal of any refund. The man working behind the counter is one of the rudest and most unprofessional people I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. He is a Caucasian middle aged gentleman with glasses. All of the negative reviews online are totally valid. There is a 100% customer satisfaction return guarantee and place, yet this gentleman argued with me and never sent me a refund. Now, he refuses to let me speak with a manager to register a complaint. A few people I know have had terrible experiences with the exact same employer at the exact same location. When I called in ahead of arriving, he argued over the phone with me in the most unprofessional way, and ended up hanging up in the middle of my attempt to rectify the situation. This is totally unacceptable, and no self respecting company or business would allow someone like this to work with the public and its customers. Bottom line; this is the worst self storage and moving vehicle rental company I have ever experienced, avoid at all costs!

Its okay... But just okay. The prices are relatively decent for being in a good location downtown, the facilities are clean and its got all the basics youd need. However their hours are shrinking - over the last couple years they are closing earlier and earlier, first they just closed earlier on the weekends and now on weekdays too. 6 pm weekday closing just does not offer a lot of time to make it after work, and its frustrating since their former 8 pm closure was one of the reasons that got my business. They used to have the loading dock open during all business hours for easy parking and unloading - but now they have it closed until you request it. In general their customer service and amenities seem to be decreasing lately - disappointing when were still paying the same price for less service.

Their employee Bob told me to take my business elsewhere (in no uncertain terms) when I said that it was pretty sad that a shop selling moving supplies didnt have any packing paper, foam, adjustable picture boxes, and literally only enough packing supplies to wrap up 6 plates.And then he called me an a**hole. Wow.Just heads up I guess. This is not the place to go to be treated decently or get any moving supplies, Even though they are a U-Haul distributor. Consider yourself warned.

Bob was very helpful even though he was busy. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes.

They cancelled the uhaul pick up one hour before the reservation start time. They called in and said as a courtsey we are calling you to let you know that the uhaul reservation has been cancelled and call uhaul customer service for more details. I had done online reservation few weeks prior and planned my move out but this location dont know how to work or help their customers. Its better to avoid this location. Horrible service!

Had a very pleasant experience renting a U-Haul cargo van from here. My check-in and check-out were super fast and the staff were extremely helpful all throughout!

We had one of the best experiences working with the Team at Seattle Vault. They were very patient with us and showed us several units to choose from and on different floors. We did not make a quick decision and they were happy to hold a unit for us. The place was clean and new and close to where we are living on the Hill. There is easy access and privacy as well. Leo was especially helpful since we came 3 different times before making a decision. They also have all the supplies you need to move including the rental trucks that we reserved but did not use. We would highly recommend.

Just Moved my items into Seattle Vault! Great Experience, staff was friendly, helpful and quickly got me taken care of..good deals for downtown storage! Showed me different sized units, to find the right fit! Clean building, Dry and heated.. concrete building.. new storage, so everything was pleasant.. no odors, pests or anything of that such to worry about! surveillance cameras at front desk that keep watch of all floors! Easy access and wide hallways to move items..Thank You Seattle Vault.. Keep an eye on the cameras! ;)

Having responded to a special they were sponsoring we found that our storage unit was large and new. The staff working at the facility is excellent and friendly! Another advantage is the in-town proximity and the easy access loading dock. Try The Vault, a storage facility with flair!

Outrageous... even before a hello you get greeted with a ahhhhhh man, this isnt a good time. Im swamped. Keep in mind there is not another living soul in the room besides myself and this older gentleman and the phones are dead silent.Dont waste your time here.

Terrible Service!! All the way to the Manager Bob McCoy!! I have come to this facility 3 times to either store more items or take items out of the storage that I pay over 100 dollars a month. Each time I have to wait upwards of 30 minutes to get access to the elevator as well being rude and unprofessional. When I speaks to him he walks away like I said nothing. Each time I come my experience is worse and worse. When I try to remove my items during normal business hours he gives me every excuse in the book why I can’t continually move my items in one day. Telling me I need to keep coming back and back. I am trying to collect my items from my storage unit and I have been trapped to the point where I have to keep paying for no reason.

Seattle Vault is great. The facility is a (recently) converted office building and the units are new, clean, secure and climate controlled (and in wet/moldy Seattle that is a good thing) FYI: there are a few units located outside if a really large size is needed. Location is fantastic for anyone in the downtown area (including Capital Hill) either walking or driving and they have a loading dock and freight elevator to make moving things easy. They have online bill payments and a great staff that can be accessed in person, by phone or email to handle questions.Highly recommended compared to the other options in the downtown area...

Staff on-site is extremely helpful and professional. No matter what your needs are they have the sizes you need. They are the lowest price storage in the down town area and very conveniently located, close to bus and train station. I wouldnt go anywhere else in town and Im picky about the companies I deal with.

I gave the keys to Bob, and he said hell take care of it and that I should receive an email five minutes later with the bill. I didnt receive an email until the next day and it contained an extra after hours fee even though I returned before 6pm

Seattle Vault was extremely helpful in getting me moved in and into a storage unit to hold my stuff. I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility.Access to almost all the units is via a large freight elevator, and there are ample trollies kicking around the space. Pricing is very competitive and the location is hard to beat if youre in downtown Seattle.

They have more help now and will be open for many months before its torn down for another skyscraper. Enjoy the convenience while its here. no issues.

Employees need to go back to class, to learn how to give good customer service instead of the ridiculously bad service that you can receive in abundance.

This place is great, The people who work there are friendly, getting my unit was quick and simple. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because the units use a cylinder lock that can only be used on that type of door latch. Once youre done with that place it is highly unlikely youd find a use for it.

Not great accessible hours, you have to pay for one of their locks and the service isnt the best. Their Uhaul service is good though and that was a good experience.

Great place to store your stuff.

Was a customer for two years with household in storage. The move in day and move out days proved to be the most absolute rude encounters with a business ever. I have told all of my co-workers and friends to avoid this location.Initially thought some of the bad reviews (in 2014) were from some disgruntled customers. Now I see that they were right.

We walked in to reserve a storage unit at 5:20pm today and they close at 6:00pmThe attendant Bob told us that he didn’t have time to rent a storage unit to us because he had other work to do and that renting a unit takes him 20 minutes , so we called a place down the street that also closed at 6 and rented a unit there

Had a truck scheduled to be picked up at 9am, store is not open with a bunch of customers waiting outside. Ruined our move day thanks a lot

Super hard to find the location with all of the construction going on. They were also late opening the place so dont book before 10. Ultimately, they made it right by comping my ride, but if youre in a time crunch in the AM go somewhere else.

Closed when I arrived to pick up my U-Haul truck.

Overpriced compared to Public Storage.

I had a really poor experience; the elevators had to be operated by an employee, but I could never find anyone in their office to help me out.

So they use to open late a real pain now they have guy that closes early 7pm but all the signage says 8pm apparently he does not go by store hours just his would be nice if you could the business ours so that if you have to run into town you could schedule it
