Very interesting spot! This board game shop has a whole wall of board games and even a small library that customers can play onsite. They also host board game events every week.Well, I dont play board games, anyway. I came in for a quick breakfast. I had a chicken verde tamales with guacamole salsa sauce. Its very tasty and reasonably priced, love it! Moreover, their pastries look delicious too and they brew victrola coffee.

The Missing Piece is a pretty cool place. During the day when they have their little shop open, you can get food and other such delicacies. They have a wonderful coffee selection and a very warm and friendly atmosphere. This place is extremely well lit and the owner there is extremely nice. I would definitely highly recommend this place as a place to hang out with your friends and to pass the time. In a dark and dismal world, this place is a nice little shiny beacon of hope and togetherness.Food plus games equals awesomeness on the next level. :)

Im so excited that there is a new game store in town! The store has a really laid back and open floor plan with lots of tables for gaming. Their game selection was great and I really like how they organized their stock. I chatted with the barista a bit. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products.

Great board game cafe! We have so many good options in Seattle and I feel really lucky we have another one. TMP is bright, modern, but still has a homey feel.Im not a coffee drinker but they have good tea options for cold weather, Italian sodas for when its warm. Love the sandwiches too--my favorites are the smoky chicken bacon and the Cuban. Also, A+ chocolate chip cookies. Good size, chewy and not crumbly/crunchy, good chocolate chip ratio (yes Im picky about my cookies!)Tables are a good size for gaming and Ive spent many hours here already hanging out with friends and playing games. The weekends are a bit busier so I prefer going in the evenings during the week when youre pretty much guaranteed a table. If you do want to go on the weekends you can reserve a table or one of the beautiful private rooms to ensure you have the space you want for the time you want 😊Gamers--you can pre-order games, try their free to play library, or sell used games at your own price. All good stuff!

A great game store to purchase games OR play games from their library. I ate delicious food (I had a tamale) while playing a game Id never played before (Parks Memories). Friendly, clean, and well organized. I will definitely be returning!

Nice board game cafe. The owners were very nice and welcoming. They serve coffee, tea and other drinks, as well as some pastries and sandwiches. I was here with a meetup group and they were very accommodating. You can reserve tables online for your group which is very helpful.I just wish they had a little bit bigger selection of games for purchase. I still highly recommend!

Good spot to spend time with friends and family and play board games. Their selection of games is huge and it’s free to play there as well as for sale! I’m not a fan of their coffee - either my latte is too cold or not strong enough till it gets to my table (so I stick to drip coffee) but we always go there for games!

The Missing Piece is a great new board game cafe in the West Seattle / White Center area. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the space is clean and organized, and the coffee is fantastic. They have a game library that is free to use in-house, as well as a number of cafe tables and a wide variety of food and drinks. I come to this shop exclusively now!

Was only in West Seattle for a short time, but was really glad I was introduced to The Missing Piece! They had recently opened, and the owners were incredibly nice. Love the space! The croissants were incredible, the coffee was fantastic, and they had a very impressive board game selection. They even showed me the private rooms in the back. Im a bit of a board game nut, so its nice to see that the owners really knew their stuff. When Im back in town, I look forward to playing some games here.

This place is great! I got fantastic recommendations! Both for a kids game and for myself. My kids picked out a game and then the staff helped us find it used (bonus!) Plus recommended another game for them. Of course they love the recommended game the most. My coffee was tasty, the staff was helpful, the selection was well curated, the environment was open and friendly. A total gem!

The Missing Piece is a fantastic place for a cup of coffee, and a delicious pastry or warm panini. They use Victrola Coffee Roasters, and are experts at churning out great coffee. The store is bright, clean, and welcoming. They are serious about social distancing and making sure their customers are safe during the ongoing process pandemic. They have a couple private rooms, clean unisex bathrooms, a substantial game library, and really nice tables and chairs space out to allow in store play and dining.Their game offerings run the scale from kids and toddlers, all the way up to expert strategy and euro games. One of the coolest things is they have a week stocked used game section, that have been inspected, shrink wrapped, and priced to sell!I highly recommend both the coffee, and food... and frankly the environment couldnt be better!

Great Victrola coffee! Im not a huge gamer by any means but they have quite a selection of new, used, and you can trade games too. Someday, things will open up and you will be able to play some of those games on their tables in there. Ill be there for the coffee!

The Missing Piece is everything you want in a coffee shop and board game cafe. It’s clean, upscale, yet homey and welcoming. The staff is kind and personable. You can tell they put a lot of time and thought into everything. Their teas, coffee, and food options are all so good! One of the better chocolate chip cookies I have ever had, and the tea was so amazing. The tea is unlike anything I have ever had, I’m going to have to make it a regular stop for my tea and snack needs! Go to just get a coffee, stay to learn a new board game. Absolutely stellar venue!

Big selection of games, both new and used. If you want to sell any of your games they even do consignment. The food is tasty, I’m a big fan of the croissants and the grilled cheese. Also, they do board game themed special drinks which is fun. I had a ‘Century Spiced Road Latte’ that was delicious.
