Scheduled to get contacts. The eye exam went somewhat well but I felt like my eyes were not quite up to par. When my trial contacts came in they only had 5 days of contacts instead of 7. Whatever. Im pretty chill so I didn’t really complain. During the week I continued to think that my contacts were weak, especially in my right eye. I told the dr this and she just told me ‘ contacts are not going to be as good as glasses’. I’ve given these contacts a month of usage and there is stuff every day that I KNOW for a fact I should be able to read and I just can’t. I’ve worn glasses for years and I’m sorry. I know what I should and shouldn’t be able to see. I already spent $250 on this just for it to be wrong.I’d call them back to fix the problem, but now I don’t trust them with my eyes. This is stupid.

It is the first time I need glasses and I went to several places and here was the first really good experience. Cassandra walked me through the whole process, what to pay attention to and how it all works. They have a great selection and awesome customer service!!!

I didnt see the regular doc, I saw the weekend doc. Clinic was unable to confirm benefits, saying that the insurance company showed a visit in September of the previous year, so I paid out of pocket. I expected this, as they had warned me by phone, but, at the counter, the receptionist only collected partial payment and I had to remind her to collect the part that insurance would usually cover.During the visit, when I shared my concern that my contacts were sometimes popping out, the provider didnt speak to the dry eye shed just commented on or suggest a different fit might help; she told me that, after decades of wearing contacts, Im probably just suddenly no longer able to recognize when my contacts are in backwards. To her credit, she did provide samples with a different base curve. When I returned for my contact follow up, the receptionist told me that they hadnt collected full payment at my initial because the clinic didnt realize that I wasnt eligible for benefits. When I reminded her that theyd run 2 transactions last time because *I* had remembered that they didnt think I was eligible for benefits, the receptionist asked me to produce the receipts (which were in a file at home because Im having to submit to insurance on their behalf)! Only after I confirmed that both transactions show up in my bank transactions did the receptionist follow up with the doc, who then found the misplaced receipt.Later, when I called my insurance company to figure out who was using my benefits, the insurance company indicated that I am eligible for benefits and they do not show any visits on record in the last year...no idea why the clinic would have received any different information.Maybe the regular doc is less condescending. I dont recommend seeing the weekend doc.Maybe self pay patients will have a good experience. I dont recommend this clinic for insured patients.

The staff here was very helpful. We had a friend visiting from out of town who forgot her contacts. They helped her get what she needed. Thanks a lot for the great service!

Only giving two stars because my first experience was good, even though that was a year ago. Went in this year and no one knew what they were doing. All staff members were rude and unhelpful. They made it apparent that they didnt want to be there and wanted to help me even less. I would rather drive the hour and a half to the other vista optical in Kent then visit this one again.
