If your laptop needs a repair, look no further. My MacBook wasn’t charging properly and it had some internal issues. I took it to the apple store, not only they did not find fix my laptop, they made it worse and gave it back to me. They also suggest me to just buy a new laptop. Michael is a life saver! I thought my computer was a goner (after basically being told as such from Geek Squad! Never again!) I sent Michael an email about my laptop, and he told me that I could drop it off NEXT DAY. I was even able to drop it off to him after I got off work (after 5pm!) Within 10 minutes of having dropped it off to him, he was able to install my new SSD and solve the issues it was having, and then start reinstalling my Windows OS. Took just under two hours for the install process to be complete and for him to completely reformat my hard drive as well. All the while, I was receiving frequent and informative updates on what he was working on and how it was going (& how much longer he thinks hell take). Im incredibly impressed by the professionalism, the affordability, and the quick turn around that he offers. I will definitely go back to him whenever I have a computer issue from now on.

My PC stopped turning on suddenly so we brought it here. He called us a minute later and said that computer turned on for him and it just happens sometimes that computer will start working normal again after it was disconnected for a while. So we turned around and were at his place another minute later. He said he still wants his 70$ even though he didnt fix anything... After some conversation he was happy to take our 20 bucks in cash... I would never bring anything to him again. He basically robbed us.

Contacted him via text regarding a cracked screen on my laptop 2-in-1 that was causing confusion for the touch-screen (it kept detecting I was pressing the screen, when I wasnt, making the mouse go crazy). My wife and I came to West Seattle for a 3 week stay baby sitting grand kids and grand dogs while our kids were in Australia and New Zealand. Both of our computers developed sticky key syndrome and I tried to fix them with a YouTube video but to no avail. He had me come in immediately and worked over half-an-hour on one machine but found that the fix was going to cost more than I was prepared to pay. He set me on the right path to some cheaper workarounds just to get me back home and then did not charge me anything for the time he had spent. I have found very few service operations that are as accommodating and understanding as King County PC repair. His prices are more than reasonable and his service cannot be topped. I had a mysterious and annoying problem with my laptop screen flickering and had lived with it for about a year. Rather than buy a new laptop, I decided to try and get it fixed. I stumbled upon Michael as an option, and Im glad I did. I was surprised to see his business hours so open, but they turned out to be true as I was able to get a hold of him immediately after 10pm. I brought my laptop to him the next morning and he took a look at it for about 20 minutes to adjust the monitor connection. At first it seemed that this did the trick and the problem was less frequent, but soon it was obvious that it had not been completely resolved. I contacted him again, late that night, and he had several suggestions for trying to resolve the issue. Nothing worked, so I brought the laptop back to him early the next morning. Michael worked on it for almost an hour this time, digging deeper to check and reset internal connections. So far, so good this time and I have yet to see my screen flicker again. Amazing! I didnt have to purchase any expensive part replacements, I was only charged for the initial hour of labor, and now hopefully my laptop will last a bit longer so I dont have to purchase a new one. Excellent service! Mike was super knowledgeable, patient, and excellent at explaining exactly what was wrong, how he fixed it, and any future work I might want to consider but was not necessarily needed. Specifically, one of the M.2 ports was busted on my laptop, but since I had a second one that was unused, he said that I could get the port repaired, but since I had an extra one that was working properly, there wasnt a large need to fix the broken port.Mike listened well, thoroughly explained what the issue was, how he fixed it (because I asked), and has fair prices. I will not hesitate to go back to him or recommend him to others. Mike did excellent work and had my laptop back to me within a few hours (as I had expressed the need to have it back quickly if possible).

I cant say enough good things about KCPR. Mike really knows what hes talking about and his customer service is phenomenal. I corresponded with him via Yelp for two weeks while I was comparing quotes and he was always communicative (avg response time was 15 minutes) and patient.His quote never changed and when I told him that another repair shop said I needed a new hard drive and quoted me X price for the part, Mike immediately priced out cheaper options. I went with my gut and went with KCPR and Im so glad I did. I dropped off my laptop and 15 minutes later he messaged to let me know that I didnt actually need a new hard drive and that my laptop would be ready in an hour. This is incredible considering I waited seven days for a diagnostic from another repair shop AND they were going to charge me for a part I never needed.
