It started out great. The customer service with the gal that was opening was wonderful and the quiche and coffee were great. I give this a 3 because the owner (or manager?) came in and raised her voice at my friend and I for not having our masks on...while we were drinking coffee. We obviously obliged and started only taking our masks down when we went to sip our drinks. However, I hadnt even finished my drink and they asked us to leave in the middle of our coffee date because there is a time limit for how long you can sit in there. Even though that was not told to us at the beginning and there were no signs with this information, nor was there anyone else waiting to get coffee or sit down in the shop. It says dine in on Google. Maybe give people are 10 minute warning before you kick them out of your coffee shop first? Or dont publicize that you are dine in if you are not friendly to people that choose to dine in.

Great coffee, great pastries in the case and awesome people. They have a ton of cute, handmade gifts as well! One of our favorite shops in the city.

Delightful little casual coffee shop. Nothing fancy. 8 2-top tables and a small window/bar seating area. Feels like a great place for conversations or to cozy up to work remotely.

The best oat milk lattes ever! The owner really does her research to make sure everything she sells tastes good. I also love the vibe here. Just wish this pandemic was over so that I can hang out and socialize at my favorite coffee shop.

Cafe Lu lu is a really fun cafe with wonderful house made breakfast burritos that include a vegetarian option as well as delicious hot and cold drinks. My favorite is an extra spicy hot chai which is made to perfection by the most wonderful baristas!

This is my favorite coffee shop Seattle. I dont know what dark magic they perform, but their coffee is the richest, smoothest coffee time after time without ever having the hint of being burnt. I dont live in Seattle, but I make it a point of going here every time I come over. Today I had two large lattes because I had the time and I love this place so much. Highly recommended!!

Delicious coffee and now sells WINE! They also serve Cafe Racer breakfast burritos and the most delicious bagels with cream cheese. Service is excellent and very friendly. Very popular because they treat you so well!

This coffee shop is small but full of personality. The artwork on display changes about once a month so it has a different atmosphere all the time. The service is great, the coffee is excellent and I many of the regular customers are very friendly. This is one of my favorite spots to get some work done.

Their white chocolate mochas are so smooth and actually taste like white chocolate (unlike other coffee places Ive tried). On top of that, I think this is the most reasonably priced cafe Ive been to. You can get a mocha for under $4. 5 stars!

Cafe Lulu is like a home away from home. I am always welcomed with friendly smiles and excellent service. Great pastries and love the egg tasty bagels. Sit at the community table and have a lively conversation and make new friends.Update for Covid:I would like to praise the owner of Cafe Lulu and what a wonderful job she has done to keep us all safe during this pandemic. You can still get all the same pastries, bagels and coffee drinks served with a smile, but the smiles are behind a mask. If you dont have a mask with you, Cafe Lulu has extras. They have lots of hand sanitizer, the employees are constantly washing their hands and you can open the door using your foot so you dont have to touch the handle. There is a limit to how many people can be in the shop at a time as well. However, there are a couple places to sit outside and one spot for 2 inside. Everything a customer needs to feel safe and still enjoy themselves. What is even more commendable though is how much the owner cares about making sure her employees are safe. In a previous review someone mentioned a time limit to sitting inside and being told to put their mask back on and feeling like that was rude. They claimed no one was waiting for the table. But what about the employee who was stuck inside for the hour that the customers chatted with their masks off. I say Brava to the owner for speaking up and protecting her employees. This adorable cafe has my support.

Such a cute cafe nestled in a great neighborhood. You may order coffee, tea, pastries and quiche. I savored a doppio while I answered some emails.

Just a small coffee shop that serves bagels and oatmeal. I did a google search on best breakfast and this place came up. Google searches suck. This is NOT a breakfast spot. No offense to the cafe. Its just that expectations were not met.

I love their coffee. It seems like a great place to stop in on your way to the bus stop. The seating is not terribly comfortable and it feels a little cramped, but I bet its a great place to sit with a laptop on your own (I saw several people doing so). I usually get coffee with a friend for an hour in the morning once a week. We do some knitting but the space isnt great for that kind of activity. I do like their breakfast options. Bagels, oatmeal, and much more.

What youd expect from a neighborhood cafe. There offer a variety of hot drinks, a couple iced drinks, and some food options. The bagels were good, you can get it with either cream cheese or peanut butter. Friendly service with a nice atmosphere.

Very slow staff. Bland, stale food. And I’m sorry the One thing a coffee house should have is bloody coffee and yet they’re out. Lastly, the owner seems to be a bit of a bully.

I never write reviews but, I took the time to do this because this Cafe is truly special. There service is great its like I was a VIP. I read some reviews and most talk about the coffe but the real star of the Cafe are the dounuts holes. They are amazing. Their warm and soft and with a light coating of fine sugar thats not overwhelmingly sweet.

Coffee is good and they baked goods are tasty. Its a bit pricey ( burrito)They just renovated the place and will serve wine soon

Overpriced and crowded. The coffee prices, especially, are way too high for their disappointing espressos. My rhubarb croissant was stale and uninteresting. EXCELLENT soyrizo breakfast burritos from Cafe Racer, but youll pay a premium to get them here.

Café Lulu is my favorite neighborhood coffee shop in Seattle, and I havent lived in that neighborhood for years. Karen (the owner), her employees, and her regulars are all such great folks. Scared of the carbs in bagels? Dont be — theyll whip you up a great egg scramble with custom toppings.
