Best place to stop for breakfast on the way to class. Great bagels, plenty of sandwich filling options, and great coffee. Affordable too.

I come here occasionally for a bagel and coffee before class. Staff is usually friendly and the coffee and the bagel are both really good and I can easily just take them on campus. Price is reasonable for most bagels.

I have to say that the bagel sandwich I got was great and actually filling enough for lunch! So was the coffee. But this is not the place for someone in a hurry. After waiting like 10 minutes, I asked, and they apparently forgot that I ordered stuff (only another order happened after me so I was kind of surprised) and made the food in like 2 minutes. I was anxious at that time but the atmosphere in the shop was relaxed, so dont go there if you just want to grab something really quick because it will probably make you more anxious. Also just a heads up, the bagels here are smaller than what you would expect if you are mostly used to New York style bagels.

Wanted to give 2.5 stars but Ill be generous. Waitstaff not the warmest, with exception, but could use some improvement.Wait time is a little long; not too bad, but the bagel sandwiches, are a bit boring, not very creative. Same menu for years.

Please for the love of god, turn your toasters down. Ingredients are good, service is nice, coffee is usually good but the burnt bagels will slice your mouth open. Fyi, its got a bit of room to sit but is mostly used as a walk up place.

Super cute little place! Delish, fresh sandwiches (all made with bagels) for a good price and friendly employees. I also enjoyed my iced Americano, although it was nothing particularly special.

Decent prices for a variety of tasty bagels and topping options. The staff are friendly and the service is relatively quick. Sometimes the bagels get over-toasted, so you might want to say toasted lightly if you dont want e.g. burnt sesame seeds or burnt garlic all over your bagel

40% of the time they get my order right every time! Check your bagel before you leave, I guess.Edit: Bean and Bagel is a treasure that must be preserved! Beans and Bagels are both good.

The service here is absolute garbage. The other day, I was waiting for my order to be taken when a lady and her dog walked in... the dog got a handful of turkey before I was even acknowledged as a customer. I use to love going there for lunch, but every time I’m there now, the servers are progressively worse and worse.

I really want to like this place. I study across the street and it is so convenient and it’s pretty tasty, but I have to say these prices are kind of ridiculous given what you get. 2.50 or whatever it is for a bagel with cream cheese is pretty standard...if you get a normal amount of cream cheese on both halves of the bagel. There is consistently not enough cream cheese and it is not even evenly spread across the bagel. I got lox today too and I’m pretty disappointed - there’s not even enough to cover a half a bagel, let alone taste any if you ate it as a sandwich. C’mom guys - step up your game. If you’re going to have “bagel” in your name and you’re pricing them as you do, you should really give people their money’s worth instead of skimping. I hope you guys improve because I would be an even better customer (I’ve already gone a handful of times, and that won’t stop!)

Okay. This place is a hidden gem of the u-district. The bagel sandwiches are basically the best on the planet. The staff is quirky and friendly. A wait in line for some food here is always worth it. My favorite is a jalepeno bagel with a cream cheese, turkey, jam and jalepenos.
