Ive been coming here for close to 20 years. Its my neighborhood market. They have tons of Filipino and Viet ingredients. They have a hot Deli, deserts and catering to satisfy your hunger but they also fill the need of a neighborhood that is seeking authentic Asian ingredients at a decent price. Warning some days parking is quite scarce but that just means people are feeling the Fou Lee vibe.

Weve been going to Foulee for years now. It offers a huge variety of food for a reasonable price. They also have a hot food bar where you can get food to-go.The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a public restroom at the back and parking spaces in front. They accept cash and card but there is now a $5 minimum charge for Debit/Credit Cards.

Well stocked Filipino grocery store. Prices were frugal and within reason.Only two registers in the store, but those gals were quick and got through the lines of grocery shoppers in good time. Also, the hot food section looked fantastic. Ranged from whole fried milk fish and shrimp to crispy pork! Didnt take any of the food, but will try next time I visit.Be mindful of parking! It was a tight squeeze for my Honda Civic and availability was low.

Fou Lee has a wide variety of fruits ranging from actual coconut to dragonfruit, small bananas for plantains(platanos). they have pork and chicken humbao. You can order fresh bubble tea, this place has all types of coconut water as well as various types of soy sauce, bbq sauce, mae ploy sauce. You have a great choice all kinds of ramen, shrimp chips, stuff you wont see at safeway or fred meyers. Definitely a must go for anyone who likes variety.

I was craving for Milo and I heard I could buy it here instead of driving all the way to Seafood City in South Center Tukwila. I did get Milo, and mangoes, plus a few other Filipino and Asian groceries. Prices are far better than Uwajimaya and the assortment is primarily oriented towards Filipino customers. I would go here if you are looking for ingredients for Filipino dishes but dont want to drive all the way south (which no one should anyhow #covidlockdown). I give it four stars only because I was disappointed with the dinuguan from the hot food section. The meat was almost entirely chopped pork fat and exceedingly salty. I felt like I needed dialysis after forcing myself to finish the dish (hey, Im Filipino and conditioned to eat food to the last grain).

The go-to-spot for difficult to find Filipino grocery items and hot foods. Excellent selection of fried fishes, barbequed meats, lechon, pancit, adobos, etc. I also come here for some cuts of meat that are harder to find in typical American grocery stores. I also stock up on everything calamansi, and they have the best quality 100% calamansi juice in frozen packets.

Originally was going to give this place a 4 star rating solely based on their hot food because even though the people were rude, the food was AMAZING!But as I was eating one of the dishes, there was an unnerving crunching in my mouth... I was eating noodles... thought maybe I had gotten a piece of bone or something...It was GLASS! Just... HOW?! Did something shatter near the food and they just kept serving it anyway? It there a disgruntled employee? This is TERRIFYING! Especially since I was feeding this to my young KIDS!I hope they figure out what happened and make sure there is never a repeat! Won’t be coming back to see if they do though.

Great spot for filipino groceries and ready to eat hot meals and desserts. I can find all my Filipino ingredients here at good prices. This place has narrow isles and cashier is in the middle of the shop. During covid times it is hard to stay 6 feet away from other shoppers and constantly awkward to dodge people to reach everything. Best to go when it is not busy.

A small store, but loaded with Philippine basics including fruits and vegetables. They have a little deli that serves up hot Philippine favorites, with a couple that might startle you. And if your REALLY curious, pick up a jar of bagoong and the sauces that you see here. Youl like them. Sweet or salty...just go for it!Update. The new photos on the left of DATU PUTI SOY SAUCE Sarap-Linamnam & Mothers Best SPICY TOYOMANSI may be of interest to you folks if your considering a no gluten, no sugar intake diet. Why? Next time your at the grocery store, either local or Asian, check the ingredient labels on the Soy Sauces. Surprise! Note how many contain sugar, and wheat. You would think that soy sauce should just be made with soy beans water and salt, and thats it. No. In fact, even the so called organic Tamaris have one or both of these ingredients. The two in the photos are a Philippine brand soy sauce and marinade, and neither contain sugar or wheat. Of course, the two companies that make these sauces also make others that do contain sugar and wheat. But the fact that you can find these that DONT have it is somewhat of a godsend. And by the way. Both of these sauces are quite delicious, particularly the Spicy Toyomansi which is flavored with chili and Philippine Lemon, but isnt hot, just savory and an absolute kick to marinade ANYTHING. So. Whether your at FouLee Market, or any other Asian grocer, grab them both. Theyre a great addition to your flavor pantry, and actually a bit more healthier.

I grew up for a few years while living on Beacon Hill and remember going up and down Beacon Avenue and passing by Foulee Market. I only visited once or twice as a child, so visiting recently as an adult was a treat. They had definitely spruced up the place since I was last there maybe 15 years ago. At one point it was more of an open-air market and you can see remnants of it as you enter when you look at the roofing. The store is still charming and has a wide variety of produce, meats, prepared food, snacks, etc. It was easy for me to get swept up in the variety of Filipino foods for sale. Things I dont see very often. Foulee seems to be doing well and I hope it does well for many years to come.

Fou-Lee still pleases. Even though the building isnt new, youll find things that you wont see anywhere else in the Seattle area. Items popular with Filipinos can be found here, as well as Chinese items. Want your favorite chips from the Philippines? They have them here. Their produce is very good (there are only a few places in town that carry Upo or fresh Calamansi).. With Social Distancing, be patient, their service is pretty fast, too!

There was a lady in front of me ordering a small size box of chowmein. The person (tomboy) working in the deli got her fried rice. The lady said she did not order a fried rice. The person in the deli insisted three times that the lady ordered the fried rice. After the lady said she dont want the fried rice, deli staff dump the fried rice back into the pan with attitude. When it was my turn, I ordered the same small box of chowmein, deli staff reused the box where the fried rice came from and put some chowmein in it. Now I have chowmein mix with partial fried rice. I asked her if I can get a new box, she gave me the same attitude so I said forget it and just took whatever she gave me.

Popular Filipino supermarket on Beacon Hill carrying an assortment of locally produced goods and imported products produced in the Philippines or elsewhere in Asia Pacific, Mainland China and its neighboring countries. Homemade deep fried culinary delights alongside other well-recognized Filipino delectable delicacies are also sold in quantity everyday. Vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, and poultry round off many of its local attraction away from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Seattle.
