We recently move back to Long Island and we have been eating at this diner. The food is really good and you get good portions and the prices are reasonable and fair.The people that wait on us are the BEST. Our favorites are David, Jose, Maria, and Sally. All of the waiters are very nice also the owners Kathy and her husband are always very nice. We love going there and we highly recommend this place.

Never thought I would be writing a review for a Diner, however the service and attentiveness I received at this Diner was impeccable. The Diner itself is clean and spacious. The server David whom assisted me was very polite, and friendly. He served as he truly enjoyed his job and he made my granddaughter smile. You cant go wrong with the food at this Diner as everything tastes good and the portions are huge, however David made me feel as if I were at a 5 star restaurant. Ive been to my fair share of fancy restaurants and the service was mediocre at best compared to David.

Burger was over cooked. Menu needs updating. Pickles and slaw looked bad when it was brought out. The only positive was my waitress. She explained what all the burgers had on them since there were no descriptions. Lastly, the owner does not want to pay the small percentage fee to the credit card companies, so if you pay with a card, there is no place to leave a tip. You have to leave it in cash. Luckily my buddy had cash to leave the waitress. How an owner does this to their staff during this time is beyond me. I hope the servers find better jobs.

It was just unbelievable, what an amazing food and service!!!!. This restaurant was simply wonderful, So delicious food and for a great price. Vladimir is the best server ever, very attentive and friendly. I had the best dinner during my stay in Seaford. I highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely 10 stars.

Parking lot can handle large amount of vehicles, the dinners are overly abundant that you easily have a second moral to take home for another day, and the wait staff ate kind and thorough.

The food and service was very good. I had a brisket sandwich with au jus and fresh onion rings. It looks like the back portion of the dining room was remodeled in the last year.

Had a gnat in my water, brought out a plate of coleslaw and pickles and the pickles were like mush, and out of the four plates to put them on one was filthy with food from a previous patron. Ive been there before and enjoyed it but will not be going back after last nights experience.

Poor service all around. The waiters catered to the people they knew. It was very rude, to see them serving them first when we arrived before them. We got no bread.. It was disappointing.. we left only 10% tip. We shouldn’t have given any…

The food here is PHENOMINAL! I was there for my Birthday and I ordered the Chicken Breast. Parmagian and they gave me so much, and it was all soooo delicious. Their desserts are amazing! Go treat yourself.

Food was good, service was good. I personally have a problem when you want to leave a tip and they only allow cash. Fortunately I had a 20 on me and left a tip but if not they said there was an atm behind me. I guess their monthly fee is more than my fee but I wouldnt have used the atm(which Im sure they get a little $ from) to go get money for a tip. Sad ending to a decent meal. Wont be going back

The service is excellent. The portions are overwhelming and we always bring food home for another meal. We had the Captains Platter with half a lobster, 2-huge shrimp and Salmon steak with all the fixings and dessert, we also had a glass of wine each filled to the top of the glass plus dessert and spent $85 including a 20% tip. Perfect!!! Cant wait to go back again soon.

Had a GREAT HAMBURGER, with avacado a light beer, and delicious french fries. The business has a nice decor ,clean restroom. Ate there on a Wednesday at 2 p.m. I would recommend this good diner. Thank you, Bob

I used to go to this diner every Sunday , the food WAS good the service WAS great and the place WAS very clean . Up until about two years ago the place stated going down a hill. My cheeseburger would be raw , the service wasnt all that great and the cleanliness of the dining room was disgusting . The dishes would be given to me stains . The glasses where always filthy and , the water tasted like it was from a pool. I definitely DO NOT recommend this diner to anyone .

The East Bay Diner is unbelievable it always is its consistent they give you way more food than you pay for thats a fact the service is wonderful and the selection they have is unbelievable now its talk about the best part and thats the prices the prices are so reasonable its ridiculous go there I dont care what you order I dont care what youre there for breakfast lunch dinner the East Bay Diner is simply amazing and you wont be disappointed I had a mushroom cheese and bacon omelette and with coffee came out to $12 and look at the picture it literally was almost falling over the plate

Food is always excellent! Dining in September is fine tables are left empty for social distancing and there is a tent outside to eat. I felt very safe and comfortable. They make the best Seabass ever! Kathy is always wArm and welcoming when entering the restaurant. Great specials and we always go home with a left over bag.

Out of dozen + outside dinners most were raving about fish..my meal was italian linguine with breast biggER than plate and excellent. Comes with 2 sides plus of soup and salid and huge platter colslaw. We were cool and ate under canvas roof top tent. Open sides, no canvas for great air circulation with very large rear parking area.Later discovered, inside very clean ,and large. .many seatings and follow state rules.plus has regular menu burgers huge, menue choices etc. Check it out.We were 2 tables put together. outside cool tent.plenty service,great day....too much food served....

This is the best Diner on the planet! The prices are right and the portions are huge! The servers are always Pleasant and polite. And the owner walks around regularly to make sure that everything is okay. My wife and I enjoy this restaurant regularly. They deserve 25 Stars! I highly recommend them!

Service was good, despite the place being packed on a Sunday morning. There were 5 of us and everyones meals came out hot and fresh. My veggie omelette was delicious and packed with flavor. Also came with home fries and it was too much food to actually finish.Bottom line is that I would absolutely visit again and would recommend to anyone looking for a diner with delicious food.

Food poisoning on the first dining experience. Why they are using plates from a plate warmer with cold food? Why is the food left in the food temperature danger zone knowingly and served to patrons? The prices aren’t worth the offerings. The food that came out looked on a plate like something they wouldn’t feed their own mothers. Simple things are screwed up. Creamed spinach is only cream cheese and wilted spinach. So why is there’s yellow & Green instead of white and green? Why are the hash style homefrys GRAY???

My family loves this place for the great seafood and courteous staff. Its usually crowded, but they offer free chicken wings while you wait for your order.My late father in law loved the food and the generous portions. He had a hearty appetite at 90.

Always a classic. The food here is fantastic. I always go with a burger. Easily one of the best burgers Ive ever eaten. Its a Long Island diner so you can get whatever you want. Also weirdly theirs a bar but thats whatever. Get a burger, you wont regret it. Wish they had hotter hot sauce though.

Plenty of food always busy but quick service. Sometimes food is not as good, but most times we are very happy with our plates. They have a really good Chilean Sea bass that comes with soup, salad and dessert.

The decor looks like a movie set for 20,000 leagues under the sea, the food is spectacular, the portions humungous & the service friendly & rapido.

We go here all the time. Since the Covid crisis the diner has only a limited menu. The service was also not up to its usual standards. We will not return until things are back to nornal.

I just had dinner at the East Bay diner with my mother in law and wife. I must say the wait staff is the most professional you will see in any food establishment on Long Island. Our waiter tonight was Vladimir he was the nicest most caring waiter you could ask for. The portions were amazing enough for 2 meals. The meal comes complete with a soup salad and dessert with coffee my wife had the Salmon she loved it I had veal Palm with srimp as good as any Italian restaurant in the area The chicken soulvakioas was amazing and was overflowing on the plate what a great place to dine. I could see why at 5 30 the place was Packed. I will continue to go to the East Bay Diner thank you for all you the great smiles you bring to your patrons.

I live the modern ocean decor. Especially the jellyfish lamps. Coffee was very good. Breakfast was overwhelming. I didnt care for the potatoes. Eggs were perfect as so was the waitress!
