Go. Somewhere. Else.The owner is beyond unprofessional and nasty. Workers are very rude. Products are not up to par, and they WILL scam you. There are several better beauty small businesses you should shop. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place all together. Used to shop here for all of my hair needs, but never again.

One of the owners or sister came to my house to braid my hair ... because she told me she was an expert braider and no .. no she wasnt I asked for my money back and she told me no .... besides that some of their products are over priced

I have use there store many of time to get braiding hair every time it was the same lady working( I am personally mixed) . The lady had a but of attitude with me but had the nastiest attitude with my white mother and grand mother!! Do not recommend . And then on top of that she tried to accuse my mom of stealing !!NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!!

I went there for the first time yesterday. I found it to be stocked with everything. I thought the staff was friendly, and I was happy to see a beauty supply store for me in Scranton.

I will never shop at this place again, all 3 of them have nasty attitudes I purchased a wig and I didnt realize she gave me the wrong one so I took it back, one on them says oh no refunds or exchanges um exuse you? You guys gave me the wrong hair so after about 20 minutes they gave me my money back they never have nothing good and the princes are way to high, The owner has a nasty attitude do your self a favor and shut the whole store down!!!!

Visited on Saturday with my wife, cashier and staff was very friendly and courteous.

First experience here was horrible, the owner was on my behind they whole time I was trying to look around and decided hairstyle i wanted. It was uncomfortable made me want to rush and get what I needed to get and leave. Not friendly horrible customer service not everyone that walk in is a thief they need to learn to be more friendly and welcoming to their customer.

The reviews are unfortunately true, the store did not open on time and the service is lacking pretty rude in fact. If you just want a place to buy a wig this is fine. Do not expect much more.

Kind of wish it was a no star choice. Rude and ghetto is all i have to say. Not only that but the prices are ridiculous. Learn to be more customer friendly. People always saying support black businesses and then when you do you get treated like shxt.

The 1 star reviews are honest and true, My 67 year old mother and I were treated like criminals here, the women who work here will watch and follow you like a hawk! they are rude, sarcastic and very angry. I have so much more to say but I’ll leave it here. If you dare to shop here shame on you!

Owner is EXTREMELY HELPFUL.. Great quality of hair. And a VERY WIDE selection of hair care products.

I stopped shopping here because the customer service severely lacks. You would think a black owned business wouldnt follow their own customers around. I can get that experience at a white establishment. They closed early one day and the woman closing looked so annoyed by my presence. My money can be annoying too. Theres another store in Monroe County and those reviews arent the best either. Learn to run a business.

I had a bad experience with this place two different times i i paid good money for what was suppose to be a 100 human unprocessed wig it literally took hours to bleach the knots the quality of the hair is not 100 percent human hair it doesnt hold a good curl the wig just is all around bad quality never again will i spend my money here a complete rip off the owner of big apple is known for this i paid dam near 200 for a wig i cant do anything with oh and its extra extra thin total scam...

I wish there was an option to give this business no stars. This is the absolute worst beauty supply store i have ever been to. The prices are out of this world. Something that cost 4 or 5 bucks at Wal-Mart or Sallys is 8 to 10 dollars here. The cost of the hair is just ridiculous. 12 inch human hair is almost $40. And lets not even talk about the ghetto workers that this store has. I will never step my foot in or spend my money in this store. The hair store on Pittston Ave is much better and has a better variety. Her prices are also much cheaper.

SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE AND UNPLEASANT!! I go there almost every time I get paid, with a pocket full of money. I always buy something & the owner constantly follows me throughout the store. This time i went there she tried to accuse me and my friend of stealing and we both bought items. Every time I went there she was very rude and had a smirk on her face. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Woman there always with attitude makes you feel like you gonna steal always watching, you ask her a question she replies like are you an idiot type attitude... too expensive also

It really makes me sad to have to write this review.....my hope is that a lesson will be learned. After reading others I find I am not alone. First, when you are in a business of dealing with people you could put a smile on your face and make your customers feel welcome..A greeting when they enter with a promise that you will be there when they ask for assistance. Courtesy and kindness goes a long long way in this type of business. Second..there are enough security cameras in this place to save you the steps wasted as your customers are followed and made to feel uncomfortable. Someone else said we get enough of that in other establishments. And last, your doors should be open for as long as your stated business hours. On too many occasions I have come by to find the gate down and a sign that reads back in 5 or 10 mins. Yesterday it was 5. However, we waited approx. 30 mins. and no one showed. I love my Black people and really want to support Black businesses when I can. God knows the opportunities in this area are few. So, just a suggestion, if you really want to be here....Step up your game..please.Till such time I regretfully will be shopping elsewhere.P.S. lowering your prices just a bit might help too.

Worst beauty supply store i have ever been in. Not just because the prices are ridiculous but everytime i go in there i always feel as if im bothering them when i need help. Even when i called to see if they had something, she rushed me off the phone and told me to call back. Seriously? Theyre rude, ghetto, and just unfriendly. Then on top of the terrible customer service their prices are so expensive. No thanks ill stick to waiting until i go back to my hometown in Jersey to purchase anything i cant get at sallys or walmart

My wifey shops here on the regular. There are lots of selections and also friendly helpful customer service from the owner.

My girl went here for a wig and dust was inside the hair also the women hair are racist do not support this shop! Needs to be shut down!
