Loved this place! The facility was clean and nicely kept. Just recently vacated, because I am moving. Shaemus made that process quick and easy, 5/5 for that employee!!!

We have had a storage unit here since 2011. We have been very pleased with this facility, the staff and the oversight demonstrated for this storage facility.The staff has always been well trained, helpful, knowledgeable and customer focused. Jake has been helpful and responsive to a recent request.We have referred several friends and neighbors to this facility and they have all expressed their pleasure with their units.

We waited a while just due to coronavirus cautions of one person being in the building at a time (totally understandable), but Steven J provided the best customer service that absolutely made up for it.He showed me the Unit before I rented it, and the unit was very clean and kept up well. He was incredibly kind and welcoming, all my questions were answered, he was super accommodating for personal needs even though we were a little late to our reservation, and all the details were explained so that I understood every bit of what I was signing up for.Steven J is an amazing asset to this company and deserves the best that PS can offer. This place is HORRIBLE! It does not even deserve one star. They called me today to let me know a payment was due. I have placed my account on Auto-Pay no less than three times with this company, and for some unknown reason, their system keeps failing. Today, I was told that a credit card was declined. When I asked which credit card (I have several), the property manager refused to tell me. He said to call my bank. When I tried to explain to him that I could not call the bank if I didnt know which bank had declined the charge, he hung one me. I called back. I asked him to provide me with the name and contact information for his supervisor so that I could talk to someone who might actually be helpful. He refused twice, and again hung up on me. Between the constantly increasing charges and the rude and unhelpful staff, I would recommend you choose another storage facility close by. There are several.

I just started storing at this Public Storage and when i came back to store my bike, I realized that I had forgotten to bring the key to my unit lock. I live far from the storage and by the time i go an come back, the office would had been closed. When Steven, the associate who on duty that day, found out my dilemma, he offered to keep the bike with him in the office and just for me to come back the next day to claim my bike when the office opens again. It was close to Thanksgiving and i work from home and i was having a hectic day that i cant just get up and go. I felt bad that it took me till after Thanksgiving to get down to the storage office again.I was so scared that they would confiscate my bike for not coming to claim it, but thanks to Steven my bike was still there and was protected from any sort of complications. Steven kept his promise that he would take care of my bike and he went above and beyond to call me everyday to touch base with me to remind me to get my bike. Who would have such tenacity to just assure you of your belongings? If his manager is reading this, please dont reprimand him for providing me such a great customer service experience. To those who have not rented a storage unit here at the Thomas Rd and 70th Street location in Scottsdale, you have to try them,,they open early and closes at 9 pm not all storage has this type of access hours. This is actually one of the reasons why I chose this location. So to that Lady who gave Steven a nasty review please just stop the lies and the blaming game. Have some funds in your bank card so your Autopay option can work. The system is not a dummy that it will purposely not take your payment 3 times. Come on...Your screaming at others are not gonna get you a free rent for your unit. Also if you can;t appreciate it that Steven was following security protocol by not disclosing your bank card information over the phone, then you have no appreciation of his duty to protect your confidentiality. Plus how can you not know which card you used to pay? Please look in your account information online. Stop the act of pretense and just move out if you cant pay. We all are going thru hardship right now so what else is new? The moral lesson here guys? Dont believe every nasty review you read...study the facts and analyze the intentions of those who always want to speak to the manager like the manager doesnt recognize the false accusations and misinterpretations of what truly happened during the conversation with a Public Storage staff. Remember that all calls are being recorded for a reason and this type of scenario is one of them. Dont let irate customers define you for your hard work and dedication to your job. Keep up the good work Steven!!! You got this!!!

Brian is an asset to Public Storage. He is helpful, knowledgeable and sincerely cares about the property and your storage needs. He is by far, the best manager I have ever dealt with there and Ive rented units since 1998! Whatever you are paying him, increase it, he is worth it!

Great service . Fast and efficient

The staff here are absolutely wonderful! I rented with them for about 7 months, and whenever I had any questions or concerns they were very helpful. David was nice, and I never had any problems with the facility. All of my stuff was secure and accounted for upon leaving, and the prices during my stay were great!

David went way above & beyond to help out in every way possible. I wish every corporation had employees as helpful & kind & understanding as this gentleman was to us.Thank you David for EVERYTHING that you did to make my experience as less painful & smooth running as possible. I rented a space at this Public Storage location when I moved out of Arizona at the last minute. This location is very clean and the management is fantastic. Brian, the manager at this location, is absolutely AMAZING. He is very personable, welcoming, and hilarious! Moving a bunch of junk in/out of a storage unit is not typically considered to be a fun task, but Brian made my entire experience seamless and enjoyable! I highly recommend this Public Storage location if you are in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area!

This place is awful! I recently upgraded to a larger unit, because it was cheaper than the smaller unit I was renting. They charged me 100 dollars to move into the new space even though it was only 69 dollar space with insurance. Instead of moving me out of my old space, they moved me out of the new space. They said the refunded me 75 on accident and I needed to repay it. They put a lock on my unit and made me pay another 75 dollars. I just got their refund and its for 11 dollars. So Ive paid 165 for a 65 dollar space. They blame it on their system. So awful and unprofessional!I would go somewhere else.

Was a past renter a few years ago, needed a locker again, decided I enjoyed my first experience and would come back.Brian helped me resign for a locker for the next period of time. He found me a good unit, carefully going through all the paperwork, protocols, and helped me make sure everything worked. I appreciated his help and the excellent level of professional service he provided.

My experience with David (Dave) was top notch! He was patient with me and as a Senior citizen and I can attest to the fact that not everyone IS patient with older people! Helpful would be putting it mild! He is great!

The lady (who works at another facility) who I initially talked with over the phone wasn’t too friendly. However, the on-site manager was as nice as nice can be. My only issue is online I am quoted $25 to begin rental agreement online, my actual cost for a 5’x8” was near $60. With insurance required, a lock purchased and other small nominal items. Otherwise I’m glad my stuff is in storage with nice people and too that it’s in a quiet area.

Was looking for a last minute storage unit. Brian was more than helpful to find the one we needed. He went above and beyond! Very professional and a hard working individual.Edit: (9 months later) Moving out was a breeze. Brian once again was more than helpful and with his great sense of humor we were out in no time.

Brian in Scottsdale on 70th street was superb! He helped make out transfer to a bigger unit fast and efficient. I highly recommend public storage for your extra belongings!

Great space and service. I had my stuff in storage for a short period of time, but move in and move in were seamless. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Overall a great experience. Ron was extremely personable and a great conversationalist. It feels like a racket that insurance is mandatory but that is for every storage facility. I would recommend this location.

Last week my husband and I were helping our son move out of his locker. We ran into several snags and had a dead line, time wise, to be gone by closing hrs. David was on duty and came to our rescue. He went over and above his duties while staying within the rules of the grounds, to help us. He was not only helpful, but very courteous and friendly. In today’s world, it’s rare to find employees who are there just for the pay check. Thank you David. You certainly are a valuable asset to Public Storage.

Initially, everything went well when I called to reserve my unit. Then the day before my scheduled move in, I received a call from the property telling me that my reservation had been cancelled because I did not confirm it. I told them I had in fact called to confirm it the previous day, and I had phone records proving so. Somebody dropped the ball and now I was basically out of luck. They stated that there was nothing that could be done as the unit had been given away. I would either have to pay 3x as much money for a bigger unit or move to another facility. This was not acceptable. I felt that I should be given the bigger unit at the same facility for the same price. After much discussion I asked for a supervisor. I spoke with Sherri, and explained the situation in detail. Sherri was able to resolve the situation and honor the original price I was quoted. Sherri was also there when I came to sign for the unit on my move in day. She was extremely professional and friendly. She took her time going over the details of everything and made sure I was happy and a satisfied customer. Sherri gets five stars but I will only give the facility 4 because of the issue that Sherri had to fix for me.

Service at Public Storage was impeccable. Brian gave us a tour of the space before we got our lock on. He was quick and professional, and his personality was refreshing. Definitely a keeper!

So far so good. Ron in the office worked diligently to keep a reservation for me as I was moving from out of state and this is a very busy season for them. My belongings remained dry during flash flood rains last week. No bugs and a secure location

Great customer service here! Sheri and Katie are so helpful and nice . They take a lot of time and care witheach person who walks in the door. They really go above and beyond and make me feel that mystorage needs and my things in storage are well taken care of.
