I had a bit of a problem finding him as it was tucked away in a large building along with other businesses. We took the elevator upstairs to a suite and was greeted promptly by a sweet lady with a smile and allowed to pass through a secured entry. We felt a little out of place and we were hoping that we could sell our gems. Ralph seamed a little annoyed but he took the time to see what we had. He was to the point and gave us the information we needed. His display case had the most beautiful and brilliant stones I have ever seen and it told me that his knowledge and experience was precisely that of a true gemologist. Was selling two rings one white gold one yellow and both had diamonds in them. I went to a couple other places and was low balled beyond belief. Both places offered me the scrap price for the metal or less and nothing for the stones but wanted them anyways. I found Ralph & Associates online and I am so happy I found them. Ralph was very kind and very professional but still was able to build rapport and be personable. Not to mention he offered me literally twice as much as the other stores. His knowledge was more than impressive and he educated me on what I had. Great experience. I cannot thank you enough Ralph. I legitimately will not be using another jeweler besides Ralph.

I recently had a significant diamond that (sadly) got chipped... I opted to sell the stone and replace it. After talking with several buyers in the area, Ralph was the CLEAR choice. I suspect that smaller stones of a carat or two are probably bought and sold frequently enough that pricing between buyers is going to be quite similar. When you get into larger stones, 5+ carats, buyers are wildly variant with pricing-especially if the stone doesnt already have a GIA certificate. Ralph was very honest. Im knowledgeable about diamonds & everything he told me was consistent with what Ive learned. He was able to have the stone recut and fortunately saved most of the weight AND get a gorgeous cut. Now Im working with him to purchase another stone. Going forward I will definitely talk with Ralph before buying any diamond. There are a lot of intricacies in diamond buying and the most important asset a buyer can have is a representative worthy of their trust. I truly believe Ralph is the kind of person who would rather work harder to find exactly what his client is looking for rather than make a quick sale and be on to the next. THAT is what I look for in any business, but particularly in one as personal and subjective as diamonds (or any precious gem for that matter). Ive bought from several jewellers in AZ and now I wish Id have met Ralph many years ago...You wont find anyone better.
