Super cool Asian style ice cream shop. They dont have as many options as some more popular ice cream places but this is by far my favorite place to go now.Wasnt too over priced and the area outside is really nice to sit at.

This is a great Dessert Cafe my granddaughter discovered. The owners are so nice and what we ordered was delicious! Its the cutest setup and the menu has lots of variety to choose from. I definitely will be heading back to try other varieties of cones and flavors.

Very tasty ice cream and incredibly creative flavors and cones. This place should be a franchise! We had the black cone with milk ice cream and our son loved it! We also tried the purple cone too! Each cone has a little surprise at the bottom (I won’t ruin it for you though). The only thing we didn’t like was the cheesecake. It was too dry. Not creamy enough at all. Glad we only had a slice and not a whole cake! Other than that the ice cream was really delicious! Not too sweet, just right! The owners are very nice and the interior is very clean and well organized. Highly recommend!

Soooo goooooddddddd i had gotten a taiyaki fish cone with mango taro serve chocolate stuffed and poky and i also ordered 2 taiyaki for 3.50 i think it was it was so worth it you want a good treat go check this place out

We loved our dessert at dessert in the desert… Great tasting soft serve served in incredibly delicious and unique types of waffles and waffle cones. Run don’t walk here as it is better than most other dessert stores we’ve visited in Phoenix and Scottsdale…

Creative little Asian inspired dessert place. The taiyaki stuffed fish were delicious. And super cute. Im not sure how theyd be if you got them to go but sitting there and eating them while they were hot and fresh is probably the way to go!

Great dessert place. I got the milk ice cream in fish cone. The milk ice cream was one of the milkiest Ive ever tasted. Fish with custard was crunchy outside and chewy inside. Friendly people, tasty dessert

I absolutely love this place! We both got Taiyaki and some cheesecake! I got the taro and milk flavor while my partner got the matcha and black sesame flavor and they were all delightful all around. I really adore the aesthetics of this place and their desserts are sooooo good! Definitely coming back!

The Fruity fiesta waffle is absolutely delicious. Light and tasty considering all the ingredients with a nice balance of sweetness. Perfect for two! Gotta go again and try some more flavors!

Finally, bingsu in AZ. Nice service and they dont shy away from unique flavors like sesame!

Very different yet pretty good. I ordered a fish cone just to see what it was all about. There were many menu signs placed all over, so my eyes were everywhere trying to figure out what they even served. Its Dessert in the Desert yet there were potatoes and even Cheetos as an ice cream topping...? I had them put cream cheese in my fish cone and I asked for chocolate ice cream with sprinkles. The ice cream tasted pretty good, but it did not taste like chocolate. The fish cone was delicious. It was a fun and cool treat for a hot summers day. My husband and son ordered the Oreo milkshakes. They said they were alright shakes, but the shakes had a lot of ice chips in them. A big plus was It was inexpensive, especially for Scottsdale.

This was a great find. Employees are friendly and the interior is very clean and modern. I appreciated that they used buzzers to let you know when your order is ready so that theres no crowding and wondering if someone else took your order by mistake. Ice cream was superb, will be back!

A very cool new find! Korean style dessert shop with some very interesting and delicious menu options. Ice cream is light and refreshing. The fish cone is something like a dense chewy and crispy waffle. You can fill it with custard, nutella, bean paste and of course ice cream. Lots of fun toppings to try. This fish shaped cone was really good. They also make a very good light and fluffy cheese cake that is delicious. Highly recommend if you are looking for something new in the dessert category.

Interesting idea but not very well executed. The ice cream flavors were questionable and the cheesecake was bland and tasted like nothing. The food took forever to get and it was less than satisfactory. I would not recommend this place.

After experiencing Taiyaki filled with ice cream while in San Diego we looked for a place out here in Az. and found dessert in the desert.. . It is Better than what we have anticipated . Great selection of options to add to your Taiyaki experience. Also many more delicious looking desserts we plan to return and try. We found our new dessert spot. Friendly people

Absolutely loved this place! The taiyaki and ice cream was so delicious! My friends and I all got the taro/milk ice cream and it tasted so well balanced. The taiyaki is warm, fluffy, and crispy. I got a homemade one with just Nutella to save for later because I loved it so much! Also, the staff here is extremely polite, cleanly, and welcoming. I hope we get a location closer to the west valley, but until then Ill definitely be making the trip!

Visiting from out of town, saw a PERFECT 5 STAR rating and checked it out. It was AMAZING. Our recommendation is to get the fish-shaped cone with red bean and black sesame ice cream. My waist line is glad we dont have one near us.

This place was a pleasant suprise! Went here for something sweet after dinner and ended up getting several things, all of which were delicious. Staff was friendly and everything came out fast. Perfect place if you are looking for a sweet fix!

The quality of the food is awesome and even though it was super busy everything came out quickly and just tasted amazing. Cant wait to come back and try more of the flavor offerings.On top of good food, service was fantastic and friendly and to top things off they seem very conscientious of the current pandemic and they took care to keep everything clean and wear ppe.To say the least, so many layers of awesome to this place.

Visiting from out of town so we really had no idea what to expect so being blown away was a super special surprise!!! The gentleman behind the counter was so helpful, we followed most of his recommendations which created a special ice cream treat to which we have never experienced before, awesomeness!!!! This is one of those places which we will talk about in the years to come when we are reminiscing about our Valentines Day trip to Scottsdale!

Delicious and unique! I had the matcha & black sesame swirl and my fiancé ordered the red bean taiyaki. Both were outstanding! The red bean taiyaki had a perfect texture with a lightly sweet filling. We will be back. The owner was very courteous and friendly as well!

Went there yesterday and ordered Traditional Taiyaki (red bean, custard, and Nutella) and a Cloudy Taro. It was absolutely delish! It was a very small wait for the Taiyaki because they made them fresh, which was worth it ❤️ The pace looked clean and orderly. The staff were wonderful as well. I’m definitely going to come back and try their fish cone :D

**update** They have Squid Games Dalgona lollipops now! Try your hand at punching out the shape with a little pin they provide you.What a great new find. Currently it is take out only so be prepared to eat the ice cream quickly...which wont be a problem because it is delicious! The soft serve ice cream comes in cool flavors like taro and mango. I tried 2 Tayakis which are the fish waffle-thingies filled with custard and red bean. My family doesnt eat a lot of sweets and we loved that everything was delicious but not *too* sweet. The fish are soft crunchy on the outside and chewy, pillowy on the inside (like the texture of pao de queijo or Birch Benders pancakes so thinking it has something like cassava in it). They also have colored waffle cones.I was told that its an Asian fusion dessert place with some Japanese and Korean influences. They had some fun K-pop on the TV and they did a great job with keeping everything clean and sanitary in the age of Covid.We were really happy to find this place since my daughter got braces and was craving soft serve ice cream that was a step above fast food joints. We are already planning our next visit and look forward to trying their cheesecake and shaved ice.

You need to stop by if you want great dessert! This place is AMAZING! Everything we had was just unique and delicious. I had Chocolate ice cream in a Nutella filled fish cone with Fruity Pebbles on top and it was just such a great treat. My wife had the Tiramisu snowmilk flaked ice which we ended up sharing, it was quite a portion and amazing. The owners are just so sweet and were very helpful, offered us samples instantly for anything we were curious about.

This place is the best sweets shop ive ever gone to! the staff is nice, the ice cream is super soft and not too cold, and the design is really aesthetic! the server gave me 2 pocky sticks as a little apology on my ice cream when i asked if he remembered me fron the day. He is so nice and silly, i wish i could go every single day! Its just too bad that i dont live here :(

A wonderful couple who offer an array of Asian style desserts. I had the fish cone with mixed matcha and black sesame with a side of mochi whilst my husband had the cheesecake. Both were devoured.
