Its been 3 weeks now and I still do not have my reading glasses. Nothing complex with respect to the prescription - just normal reading lenses. I was also charged (not covered by my insurance) for an additional test that I was unaware of until checking out. Additional charge of $49 that supposedly I agreed to when signing my patient forms. How terrible not to advise customer of the additional test or charge. Would not recommend this location or company. Very disappointed.

Visiting Scottsdale and stopped into Pearl Vision for a repair. I met George who was able to repair my glasses right on the spot…No wait! Highly recommended!

The doctor was rushing through the whole exam process, didnt really explain much to me. I went home realizing I couldnt read with the contacts she had me try on.

Had a great examination. Highly recommend this location. The staff was very kind and helpful and I will definitely be coming back!

Really bad experience. Will never suggest going here. I recently had my eye checked. They gave me a new prescription and I used this and went to Costco and got new glasses. I am having constant eye pain on my left eye and just figured out that my readings arent correct. I went there and they dont admit their mistake. They blame it on Costco even though they see my vision readings arent correct. They werent ready to reimburse my cost incurred or do a new prescription glass for free. Such a bad place. Wouldnt recommend for eye exams.

Family of 4 went to this place for many years . We did go to a diferent place in 2020 just to return back to this location in 2021. Found out ownership changed, late 2019, and it reflects in frame prices and selection. I know they are located in Scottsdale but to charge $350 -$400 on a frame is inane. When I asked the front guy why the increase in price he casually answered This are brand names . Thats exactly what I wear and Im used to pay a premium on my frames but their price are borderline robbery . Funny thing is they had another customer that was just finishing the eye exam and was looking for a frame. When he found out the prices, he used a lame excuse and left ( wife needs to approve frame). I just told them the truth , you guys are a rip off. They could always blame Covid for the price increase ( its a trend) but after I left I went to their direct competitor and their prices are at least $100 cheaper on same brands

Ill start off by saying none of this companies information online is accurate. I have been seeing the doctor here for years and Avesis directed me to him at this location once again. Upon arriving I find out that the doctor I normally see no longer works there, and they would not tell me where he went. I then call avesis and they provide no information about why this doctor is listed at this location and they have no clue where he moved to. Out of frustration I concede to an exam and it was ok, but really not what I was hoping for. The part that really got me was when I received the glasses they were much worse than what I started with. At this point I just want a refund for complete lack of representation of quality, product and experience. They refuse and now I am out of pocket a considerable amount of money because this place wildly over charges. I dont normally write reviews but this really upset me. I recommend going anywhere but here. They need to get there stuff figured out.

Everyone I came into contact with was wonderful, starting with the lady at the front desk. Dr. Lambert was wonderful during my exam. George was extremely patient and helpful as I picked out my new frames. I picked up my new progressive glasses today and I am very satisfied.

Scheduled two eye exams. One for me and one for my daughter. First of my insurance said the location I went to was covered. I even called before making my appointment. I get there and they claim they don’t take my insurance so I’d have to pay up front. Then they ask me to go to another location after to order our glass. Same owners yet this one takes my insurance??? So we order our glasses. Get told two weeks. It’s been three and neither of us have our glasses. So I call and ask them what they are doing to remedy the situation. George has no clue where our order is at status wise and doesn’t seem to care that I’ve paid in full yet have no product that both of us actually need.I am really upset with the lack of urgency and the fact that they have no contingencies to figure out why our order is not being completed.

Great Staff, I am traveling to Arizona for the week broke my eyeglasses and the Manager was able to fix them for me right on the spot. Highly recommend!

An upsetting experience to say the least. Our family has been coming here for years and it has always been a fun friendly environment where we felt like we mattered. Things have definitely changed. The staff was very dismissive, almost like we were bothering them by asking very simple questions. The exam was ok but again felt more automated than it usually does. Once we decided on glasses it became a nightmare and we decided to take our business elsewhere. Anyone looking to feel like cattle should definitely come here. We really hope they get things together for the sake of this business.

If I could, I d give zero start! I have been a loyal customer for 4 years and referring many of my coworkers and this month I spent 400$ for 2 Pairs of glasses and a pair of contact lenses and at the time of payment I forgot to use my 50$ coupon the Pearl Vision had MAILED me. I went back and Dave manager refused to redeem my coupon, the worse customer service ever! coupons are suppose to attract customers not to reject customers. I will never ever go back there and its the worse store in SCOTTSDALE!

I had a great experience here. I had broken my glasses on the weekend, got an appointment for Monday and when I asked how quick they could get my new glasses in, David told me he would talk to the lab and get a rush on them. 2 days later my glasses came in and I could see again. Great customer service and David was a great help.

All of the staff was very attentive, professional and friendly. As soon as you walk into the office you are greeted with a smile and feel very welcomed. The doctor was great and explained everything in length. David helped me select a pair of glasses that best suited me and the staff was eager to assist in providing an opinion to narrow down the frame selections. Hands down the best experience I have had during an eye appointment. I would recommend Pearls Vision.

I had broken my sunglass frames but luckily had a backup frame of the same make and model. I needed to swap out lenses between my sunglasses, new frames and the ones I was currently wearing. David took time out right away to address the issue and had me out the door in minutes! They were nice enough to handle it right away, but to do it free of charge was unexpected. Thanks David, Ill be back soon for a full workup!

I stopped by Pearl Vision Sonora at FLW and 101 today. My Dad has glued a screw into his reading glasses when it wouldn’t stay in, but the lens still fell out. So, he still couldn’t use the frame. Their awesome staff, Haleigh and George Lini O.D. Helped to dislodge the bad screw and found, in a challenging quest, a new screw to repair the frame and reattach the lens. Thank you for your diligent effort !!!!!! Success feels good ❤️

Had my examination at the Pearle Vision in Sonora Village. Wonderful eye doctor, Jason Pick. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking for an eye examination contacts or glasses.

Dr Campouris is so pleasant and friendly. He is very knowledgeable and he takes his time to explain your eye exam and any questions that you have. Hes so cool. His staff is great too and they are so efficient and they get you in and out on time.. Such a great place to get your eye examined. I highly recommend.

***Revision*** So I moved out of state and my sons glasses were supposed to be delivered to the state that I am in. Mine and my moms were picked up before I left but his came in later. We never got them. Greg said that they were shipped. UPS said that they were delivered. Nobody knows to who what when or where. Okay things happen unfortunately BUT, check my history. For the last 3 years I have been a very proud customer of pearl vision, which may not mean much to others but when you come spend over a thousand every time you walk through the door, you tend to want a level of service that makes you want to come back. Mind you I insure all of our glasses but because they were lost along the way the insurance wont cover the replacement. First, Greg has no customer service skills. He is very dry and his demeanor makes it seem like he didnt care too much to help me. The only solution that he could offer was me to repay for the glasses. INSURANCE DONT PAY FOR GLASSES 2XS and while it was not a lot to pay for them the fact that I just paid for them and he wanted me to pay again in HOPES that I will receive the next pair, not fair or acceptable. The attitude he had about my loss was just so piss poor I decided it would be better to take my business to Walmart, at least I will get what I paid for!***Now the rest of the team, in all of their amazingness, Dr, Pick and how he handled my 70 year old mom and autistic son with his sweet loving self and THE QUEEN of glasses Veronica they made my experience one of a kind, but Greg shattered it to pieces. So now my 5 star review has become 1 because the final execution was handled by a piss poor attitude from Greg! (If Greg isnt his name, it starts with a G!)

Terrible experience! Front desk gave me attitude about my appointment not having been scheduled when I made the appointment the day before. After waiting to be fit in the doctor gave me an ok exam. Was short and rushed but assuming because they tried to fit me in. Still this should never have been an issue to begin with. After the exam I spent a while trying to find the right glasses for my face. Weeks later I received them and they were worse than the ones I had before. I asked for a refund or for them to fix the issue and they wanted to charge me to have them refunded or to fix the issue. Everyone I worked with the entire time I stepped foot in they place treated my terribly. Will never return to this store again. Also the facility was disgusting and the bathroom looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months.

The customer service at this Pearl Vision is hands down the best I have ever seen. I made some mistakes in what lenses I needed and they worked with me every time. No questions asked. This will be my families vision stop from here on out.

The staff was really cool. Doctor Matthew Campouris is very professional, very real, but you can tell he cares and showed great attention to detail you just don’t see in other doctors anymore, You can tell he’s a damn good doctor. This is clearly the best place in town to get vision services. I have acquired about 6 pairs of glasses from them in the last year. I acquired Two (2) pair that are custom tailored for me to fly my airplane. (Day & Night) This group of professionals provided excellence in service, integrity, products and value at every turn.As a New Yorker myself, it is rare that to find and be provided this level of excellence outside of Manhattan, yet, I return here to Scottsdale for the excellence this team provides. I had a pleasant experience getting my new pair of glasses at this Pearle Vision. I enjoyed the wide assortment of frames that they had. I was able to find a pair that I liked. I found the staff to be helpful and professional. I plan on returning to this Pearle Vision for my optical needs.

I scheduled an appointment online with Dr. Campouris because he was highly recommended by several colleagues of mine. Upon arriving they informed me I would be seeing a different doctor. Not the end of the world, a huge waste of time, but I could get over that. When asking where I could go to see Dr. Campouris they said they didn’t know. After doing some research I found out he is up the street in DC ranch. There is no way they didn’t know where he was. The whole thing seemed extremely shady to me. Needless to say I’m never returning to this store again.

Poor customer service. My husband is here for an appointment and waited almost an hour after his appointment before he got taken back to get eyes checked. Then after the initial visit, we waited another 20 mins and again no communication. No communication at all! This is very poor service and very disappointed. Don’t think we will be back

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at an eye place! Everyone that I encountered was unpleasant and rude. The exam I had was rushed and many issues I wanted addressed were brushed under the table. The glasses I just picked up from that exam are considerably worse than the ones I had prior. They told me to try them out for a little longer and have felt sick ever since. Wont make the mistake of going to this place again!

Always get terrific eye care services at this Pearle location! Dr. Campouris, Melody and staff have taken great care of my family for over 7 years! I highly recommend this group of caring professionals!

Deleted my old review because this place doesnt deserve a single good review from me or anyone in my opinion. They not only lost 2 of my frames but they said they could do nothing about trying to remedy the situation. We only ever came here because the old Doc was referred by my brother in law. We asked where he went and they did absolutely nothing about guiding us. I get it, its business, but why in the world do they not care about what the customer actually wants. Thank god for google!

Dr. Campouris was so informative and the best Ive been to yet! Melody was so helpful and funny, and the rest of the staff was friendly. Great location!

I’ve gone to this location for about two years now and have generally had a positive customer service experience. However, I called regarding a scratch on my lenses that have the scratch resistant coating. I’ve only had the glasses for three months and keep them in the case. The optician who answered my call was rude and condescending — she told me in a curt tone that I did not purchase a warranty, and she said there’s no such thing as scratch resistance. This pair of glasses alone cost $400 out of pocket, and along with a pair of sunglasses and glasses for my husband, we spent somewhere in the ballpark of $1k this year on eyewear. I don’t appreciate being treated that way, especially after spending so much at this store, and will not likely return here in the future. I regret referring a colleague here a few weeks ago and will advise her to go elsewhere.Update: David from Pearle reached out to me and rectified the above situation free of charge, which I do appreciate. As I previously stated, I have generally had positive experiences there and, because of his genuine concern about my customer experience, my husband and I will continue to visit this location. Thus, I am changing my review to five stars.

The doctor and the reception people were good they gave me great service. Only if the eyeglass people weren’t so rude. I was looking for a pair of glasses, I wasn’t even awknowleged or offered help . I was waiting for a while. During that time I am hearing a woman blab about personal things to the eyeglass person. I just got fed up and left . I guess they do not deserve my business. Only if zero stars were an option I would give them that.

After choosing eyeglasses and getting them home, I decided they were not for me. Took them back and exchanged with zero hassle, just paid the difference. Manny was very nice. Showed me a few frames, but didnt pressure me. Easygoing staff nice, clean, clutter free store. Glasses ready in an hour.

Honestly this place deserves 8 Door more stars I have been wearing glasses for over 25 years and never have I had such a fast exam and efficient cost worthy experience in 25 years this business has clearly gone out of their way to please me my parents and my very unfortunate circumstances great job I say if your a living human being please do yourself a favor and go here and only here.

I arrived early for my appointment and waited nearly an hour before leaving. Never once did the staff say a word about the wait. Its also hot with no water, making for an uncomfortable experience. I had lots of time to look at their selection of frames. Its a surprisingly small selection, all nearly identical, and all were very expensive.

Make sure YOU ASK how much the services cost, I spent $120 with Eye Med insurance they never got into the cost until after they are very high priced. My last eye Dr was $89 with out insurance and did more tests for that price. I thought with insurance I would save not the case with Pearl Vision they up sell everything! Walmart Vision was less and they are up front with what you will pay! Disappointed with the visit!

Dr. Matt Campouris is a great optometrist. The staff is friendly and I highly recommend this Pearle Vision! They will soon be moving to a spot near Staples in this same plaza.

Saw Matt for the first time and was extremely impressed with his knowledge and also his staff! I will continue to use Matt for all my eye needs

Update 12/4/2019Scheduled my online appointment with Dr. Campouris who is a friend of a friend and who I have seen now for 2 years. When I got there they informed me that it was another doctor. Being a little frustrated I asked why he wasn’t the doctor when he is specifically who I scheduled with. The gal who I was talking to gave me a blank stare and didn’t even apologize. Very upset this happened. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else because it was a huge waste of my time.I had my first eye exam with Dr. Campouris today and was very very happy with my experience. Wait time was very short, and the front desk was fantastic. The doctors personality was amazing and was entertaining the entire time to me and my husband who was in the room. We have our kids coming in to see Dr. Campouris this Saturday and have no concerns they wont be very well taken care of. I very highly recommend this doctor to anyone!!

DO NOT GO THERE! Worst customer service! Myself, son and husband all went here for our annual vision screening and to purchase glasses and contacts. EACH TIME, they argued about the co payment and EACH time they had to refund me the co pay because they were wrong. It took FOREVER to get the glasses and then with in 2 weeks my frames broke. IT IS NATION WIDE COMPANY POLICY TO REPAIR OR REPLACE WIHTIN THE FIRST 30 DAYS, regardless of warranty. I even called the national head quarters who contacted the owner twice, no phone call, no repair, NOTHING...

I dont believe every review, so I had to check it out for myself & this place & staff are awesome - nuff said!
