Ordered a file cabinet that was not in stock, they said it would take 6-7 days but could be delivered in 2-3 days so paid for it, waited over 10 days , called to check on it still with no answer, a week late went to same location to cancel order and get my money, it took a long time , actually they had no clue how to do it, and asked for a receipt, they gave me a paper with no information on it hardly was able to read it even with glasses, it had no name no amount , no info period, after I got home it got delivered two hours later, which is fine, took it following day to return it, the guy in charge , Bruce would not even let me talk, so kept quiet , but I insisted on getting a receipt substantiating i returned the Cabinet, something he did not appreciate, and it showed on his attitude and manners. Now thats customers service.

Walked in with 2 brand new packs of pens still sealed and wanted to do even exchange to a different color. Both colors were equally priced at $5.99 per package and both the same identical brand.Manager refused to do equal exchange. He offered to give me a only a $4.00 credit (keeping $7.98 of my money plus tax)...and then wanted me to pay $11.98 additional for his pens).Again, same product, same price just a different color.It would have been easy fix and have cost nothing to do the even exchange. Office Max is obviously not concerned about their customers.We have a lot of choices on where to spend our money both online and store front.I will no longer shop at office Max.Highly recommend shopping someplace else with better customer service.

Wonder how much longer they can survive. Selection and depth is getting thin. Like that I can touch feel take home but Amazon is really taking over office supplies

Their system was down and they only way to pay for anything was to use cash. The employee helping us was very apologetic... But the manager was nowhere to be found... Very disappointing experience.

The ladies at the print center are very friendly, explain the steps, time it’s going to take, etc. very pleased with this specific location. It appears cleaner then most, not noisy and they even have a little waiting area for quick print center jobs.

This location does not have a very friendly or helpful printing department... a lot of attitude over the phone.

I bought a desk here that was on sale. Hunter, a staff member, walked me through the process and did a great job. Once I selected the desk he had my transaction completed in 3 minutes with free shipping scheduled since it was a holiday purchase. Great service.I am going to skip using Staples. They take forever to do anything.

I came in to try to get my laptop fixed. I ended up having to call Acer to check the warranty. While the warranty people were not all that great, a lady named Sandie was extremely helpful. As someone from out of town, she made me feel somewhat at home.

Shauna is the best employee the print center has ever had. Not only is she amazingly beautiful, shes a hard worker. She gets whatever I need to do, done for me in a hurry. I love going there just to see her.

This place has the worst customer service. I am forced to go there because of LOCATION ONLY. Every time I go in its such a task for anyone to actually answer a question.Get some staff thats helpful and actually into customer service.Please. For everyones sake. Smile.

Consistently disappointed with products and service- the worst is that they dont care. Its not a wonder that they are closing stores, its a wonder any are left open.

I went in to replace my modem after a very frustrating back and forth conversation with my internet provider. Eli and Joe helped me and were very nice, trying to do whatever they could to make my day easier. Such a huge contrast in customer service compared to the hours I spent on the phone with my internet provider.

The only reason I came to this store was because their site had a product advertised for lower than any other store nearby and I didnt want to wait for Amazon (even though I get free 2 day shipping). When I went in to purchase the price came out to quite a bit more than the site listed. I asked why and the clerk told me its because they have to ship it to the store... IT WAS ALREADY IN STOCK, THATS WHY I CAME HERE. This is why these companies (like Office Depot) are going out of business, nobody wants to have to deal with this bait and switch crap and employee incompetence. Good riddance OfficeMax, Ill plan ahead and go to Amazon from now on. Way to sacrifice a potential customer for a couple bucks.

Guy answers in a mumbled voice office mxxx ... Im like hi do you have VGA cords? PGA cords? No VGA...Victor Golf Alpha... For a computer monitor...Long Pause...Let me put you on hold...comes back...No we dont have those... What a joke, Office Max will be out of business by 2020.
