Need better employees. The old guy is less than helpful and clearly he hates his job. Dont go to this unless you know exactly what you want and how to use THEIR systems. If you ask for a help theyll just hand you a card with a website on it and say good luck.

Reading others reviews, it’s obvious Tim wasn’t just treating us poorly but other customers as well. We just wanted to print a PDF file, the printer was giving us an error. Tim was annoyed the entire time. Super condescending. Leaned against another printer a few feet away from us and waited for us to repeat the process instead of being proactive about the situation. My husband and I felt really uncomfortable. We were being polite and friendly with him. Will be going out of my way to another FedEx next time. I’m sure he’ll be glad since he clearly hates his job.

Tim was incredibly kind to myself and my mother. My mom can be very OCD and he was extremely knowledgeable on what she needed to get to pack the items she needed to send home. Thank you so much Tim! I use this location weekly.

I only give it 3 stars because of the ONLY employee out 4 that was actually helping all of us! I believe her name was Alla. A big thank you to her!

Fast helpful service but not cheap

The absolute worst, to not use this FedEx location! They are rude, incompetent, unprofessional, Fed ex should at least require their employees make it to the sixth grade. The people who work there should consider themselves lucky because this job is a gift.

Received notice of my pkg delivered to this location Monday. Went there 1.5 hours before closing and there was a sign temporarily closed. 5 days later, after multiple calls to their 800 number and I still cant get my pkg. No info about why closed or when it will reopen. In spite of 1-800 agents telling me they will transfer pkg, NOTHING has been done. Breathtaking incompetence!!!!

I was discriminated against because of my disability. They forced me to wait outside because I can’t wear a mask due to emphysema. Their sign clearly states (unless medically prevented) the lady who discriminated against me was a older white female with grey/white hair, working December 22nd 2020 at 11:40am. I think she should definitely be reprimanded for this action. I can’t believe this happened. I will never use FedEx because of this event. Highly disappointed.

Very clean place very polite and helpful staff

The Sarasota Fedex office is staffed by the most friendly and helpful individuals that can possibly be assembled. Jack Phae Matt Alla Oscar Tim ....these are all fine people willing to help and make your experience first rate.I cannot imagine these folks disappointing customers at any time. I would not hesitate to use this store and I would skeptically look at the negative comments. Ive had 100 % good experience.

Oscar is the best. Friendly, professional. He’s the only one I’ll deal with at this location. The others have PMS 24/7.

Easy enough. Im able to get everything done in a timely manner. All the machines are available for use without any wait. Never had any issues.

Another GREAT experience with Fed Ex Agent Matthew He got me in and out within two minutes on another package that I needed shipped out. He has personality and again greeted me by name. They need more outstanding employees like Matthew. Will be back again!

Tim is probably the most unfriendly person I have ever dealt with. Ovoid him at all cost. Mathew on the other hand is fantastic! If you go here it’s worth the wait.

As a online buyer, after this last package I got from here, I’m never returning back to this place. About 20 people waiting in line and not a single person had the sense of urgency. Oh and by the way the manager there doesn’t seem to care either, so I don’t care about them. I’ve seen dollar generals with better service than these “workers”.

It was already a stressful situation but I was expecting at least common courtesy and customer service. Obviously I was in a bind if I needed to overnight something, but how was my business an inconvenience? Isnt waiting on people your job?

Shipping stuff during the quarantine, some guy starts arguing about their social distancing rules. The staff was all super professional and firm, looking out for employees and customers alike.Theyve got rules about shipping toxic substances, but I was very impressed with their handling of toxic attitudes as well.

Shannon was awesome. She patiently waited for me to complete sending my many files. She was super sweet and so fast! Although I was frustrated at the situation she handled things perfectly.

Answer your phone. I have called several different times on several different occasions between the hours of 4 and 6:00 p.m. during different tmdays of the week and weekend these last 2 to 3 months and no one at EVER picks up the phone. Is this office in business or not it doesnt seem like it?

I can see a 4 way stop intersection in Huntington Pointe community in Palmer Ranch from my kitchen window. Almost daily I see a FEDEX box truck speeding past and also ignoring the stop signs. We have a 15 MPH Speed Limit! If this does not stop, I will inform the Sarasota Sheriffs Office of these violations.

As I approached the door it open and a young man asked what I neesed, I told him I wanted to drop off a shipment, he asked if I needed a receipt I said yes. He took the package and returned in a minute with a receipt, I never had to go in.

Good location, workers always helpful and friendly. Parking can be a little tight but just leave out the other exit near the gas station instead.

Ive used this Fedex shipping center for many years now. I have to say that they have been nothing but nice with me. The *KEY* is to come at the right times. They are open until 8PM I believe and open EARLY... I suggest you show up at non-peak times if possible. The ONLY reason I did 4 star is the wait even off-peak times is honestly quite a while.*TIP* - You can print a Fedex label at home or your office. If you come with a label on the box and packaged. All should be ok.

I used FedEx for years shipping my packages, but now that they closed their Cantu Ct. office it has become so inconvenient that I am having to rethink my shipping options. I hope at some point they will think again about the convenience of those that live east of the Interstate which is a large part of their business. Not only the extra distance is a problem, but the traffic getting in there and the fact that there is limited parking make it not worth using them.

Went to ship out a small package, and my transaction was quick, however, I had to wait 15 minutes while both employees assisted one customer with unpacking all of her items, and repacking them in different boxes. It was nice to assist the lady in saving a few bucks, but making everyone else wait for over 15 minutes while all of the employees were focused on one problem customer made the experience poor.

We were shipping 30 pounds worth of Lithium batteries. So not exactly a normal shipment. The rules for shipping these batteries are a little confusing at times, and one of the staff members, Bryan was his name I believe, was of great help when we asked him about what we would need to do. There was also a special shipping label that was needed for this package, which would need to be in color. Our hotel did not have a color printer, but he was happy to print out said label for us. Wait times were very reasonable, but we never came when we were busy.Honestly it was about as pain free as I could ask for when shipping something so large.

Had a very frustrating experience. A worker Matthew and the manager Jared seemed like they didnt not want to be there and did not care to try and help customers. I was trying to simply print off a photo and was continually told I couldnt do it the way I had sent it, even tho I have done so at multiple FedEx locations. They even said that this location was too busy to fulfill my request. Luckily, the Staples wasnt too far.

A horrible experience. I shipped a package from here, to where i live in California. my package is over two weeks late. And when i do receive a package its not mine. Its someone Elses. For some reason i got an Amp instead of my monitor, Knives,silverware, lighters, Ect...I Shipped it all off on 9/21/2017 and just received a package on 10/9/2017. not even the one i sent to my self.

Do not recommend-I was charged $7 for them to cut out a 4x6 square out of an 8X11 sheet. Took less than 30 seconds. Extremely overpriced

Im not sure if this is really Fedex or just Fedex branded store. Every time I went there the staff is not very friendly ,as if theyre annoyed of customers wanting to spend their money there. Few time I have had positive experience with human interactions. More to that is prices, which are more expensive than if you[d use Fedex online. Not impressed

If I could give no stars, I would.The manager on duty was the rudest person. I waited a solid 30 minutes waiting for help. When another staff member asked him to help me, he refused to help in anyway stating that he was working on a project for another customer, who wasnt even there, and will continue to do so and not help me because that person was spending more money. When I mentioned having a customer wait for help in store in order to do that was poor customer service. He agreed with me, and said thats what hell do anyway. I will never return.

Horrible Horrible Horrible! I called ahead of time to verify that I could have a very delicate item shipped and held at their location for pickup. I didnt have it mailed to my home because it was a surprise Christmas gift and I didnt want my wife to see. The guy told me no problem, and to just include my phone number on the label in case there was any issue, they would contact me. When USPS attempted to deliver this pkg last Friday, 12/18/15; not only did Fedex not contact me, but they refused it and sent it back to shipper. After days of trying to track this package down through USPS, I finally find out today (12/23/15) that it is on its way to Michigan back to the seller, and I will now have to pay for double shipping, and have the item mailed to my home directly. But the worst part is this will not be here in time for the Christmas surprise I had hoped. If Fedex wouldve just simply explained upfront that they do not accept packages from USPS, I would have never wasted my valuable time trying to arrange this through them. Even after it was attempted to be delivered to them, all they had to do was contact me by my phone number on the label and I wouldve gladly come and picked it up. Its absolute laziness and a lack of communication and effort on their part. I want them, and everyone else to know how unacceptable this is!!

Honestly my first visit their I had alot of questions because im learning to adult. but the girl who was there just told me i had to do stuff online which was obviously not true. so that didnt go well my first visit. BUT decided to go back and the lady that was there helped me so much i dont even care about the first visit. and my package got there faster than expected and back faster than expected. and she helped me set up an account and get addresses i needed. I wish i remembered her name.

This FedEx office is very unprofessional, unhelpful and disappointing. I work with a lot of FedEx offices and ship over 1,200 packages a month. I have worked closely with FedEx for over a year and it is hard for me to believe this is a real FedEx location with employees trained by FedEx corporate. I would never use this location again.

Terrible customer service. Waited on hold for almost ten minutes for some ridiculously easy questions to be answer about printing 12 basic sheets of paper. Woman finally picked up, then instead of answering questions said someone else had to answer them and that this other person was available immediately(because I explained I had been on hold for ten minutes), and put me back on hold. Waited for another couple of minutes, hung up, called another printing shop that picked up and answered questions immediately. Horrible.

Save your dollar..had to come out more than three times just to fix an order that was placed over two weeks ago. The staff talked back to me on the phone after questioning them why they took my credit card over the phone to charge it(which they never did) Turned out when I came in, my card number was written down on a sheet of paper and was sitting behind their counter for nearly over a week. Where according to the employee nobody could see it This business is beyond saving😷

Fed ex and what used to be kinkos. Staff are great and know what they are doing. Can very busy at peak times. They can do just about anything.

Customers are not a priority here. Staff is rude and will continue to do other tasks while you are waiting. Manager is very phoney, evasive and could care less about your concerns. Their headquarters & other management have the same uncaring approach and do not resolve complaints. Avoid this store!

This FedEx office center is like the classic beloved Kinkos -- but better. Free WiFi, generous workspaces, and more automation make it ultra easy to print and copy. (Note: Parking is tight and can be difficult.)

I had a few things I needed faxed and printed went in at 830pm and was greeted by a very pleasant man who helped me right away!! Great service fast and friendly.

Friendly staff member but surprised he was the only one in the store (out front @ the counter). My sister & I had to wait at least 20 mins. because they were short staffed yesterday 2-17-18. We were patient but a gentleman behind me got tired of waiting & left the store. Not cheap either. I had 3 boxes to swnd & came to $71. Not sure Id return to this Fed Ex store again!

Tried plugging in my laptop, couldnt get a connection on their LapNet - when asked, the clerk said he didnt know how to get connected. Next day - got connected, but now the b&w printer is down. This time a different, but just as clueless person said she didnt know why I couldnt print, but it happens sometimes.Both times I had to use the more expensive, slower pc basic computer rental - and print on the twice as expensive color printer. Honestly, if Kinkos is going to offer computer services, youd think *someone* who works there would know how to use a computer! Really aggravating, and if Im ever in Sarasota again Ill plan beforehand to stay well away from this place - what a joke!

I appreciate the packaging and quick turn-around printing FedEx Office locations provide. However, of the several locations Ive visited throughout the country, this one consistently has the poorest customer service (discourteous staff).

The printers were down in usual printing store so I chose to go here for the first time. I must have been spoiled by my usually place because these prints are awful.I Bought 17 11x17 color prints, they cost me over $30 which would be fine if they were quality. My darker images are very faded like the printer was low on black. The over all the colors are extremely dull and unappealing. There are finger creases in the paper from someone holding them improperly. Im never coming back here again. : [

The shops location is very bad. Its hard to get into the shopping mall. Its one way traffic makes you go crazy trying to back track to get to the store. The parking is bad, the traffic is worse and the area is tacky. I just found out by driving a few miles down the road to St.Armands circle there is a new FedEx shop located on the 2nd Floor in Sarasota. Its beautiful plus its new.

I took a $650 brother printer in there to be packed and shipped to Michigan. It arrived smashed. The shipping was $200. After hours on the phone trying to resolve the claim it was denied due to poor packaging !!! This is one place to avoid like the plague.
