Friendly new owners added a touch of deviant & organized arts/crafts in a pleasant way. Ocean & tropical main themes. Good prices, good quality, lots of fun in their mini-cottage craft classes. Easy to find on Fruitville. Huge parking yard w/lots of big trees. So many beautiful things, it was dangerously good for me!

I absolutely adored this place, the staff was SO friendly and kind, they had a wonderful and unique selection and an extremely lovely and talented artist behind the counter. Not only a beautiful shopping experience but also a lovely vibe and overall feeling in general. I made a purchase and was given a small gift in secret. This is a lovely place and I highly recommend visiting!

Great lol gift shop and actual place to go in and paint ceramics in the back with cheerful workers and helpful I would recommend this place for a souvenir visit or just a afternoon of painting

What a great place to see local art, take a class, or buy a gift. The owners are very helpful and go out of there way to make you enjoy and understand the history, work, and classes. It is a must experience in Sarasota!

The Artful Giraffe is the best! My daughter has the greatest time picking out the mold and painting it. The turnaround time is really fast. Its the perfect place for something fun to do or a thoughtful handmade gift. The store is wonderful as well with many great things to choose from. We will be back!

What a fun and interesting place! I have taken a couple of classes and have made several purchases here. I took the Salt Scrub class. We made 3 different products and had tons of fun. It was well worth the cost of the class. I also took the Cheese Making class and had a blast with the instructor, Joanne, and the owner, Noel. We made 2 kinds of delicious cheeses and had so much fun that I didnt want to leave. If you like funky artsy people and place, then you have to visit The Artful Giraffe.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. We had a day of bad weather while on vacation, and decided to stop in to paint some ceramics with our 2 boys. Wonderful staff, very fun and friendly, patient with our kids. Great selection of items to create or buy, and prices easily fitting any budget. They offered to pack and ship our ceramics once theyd been fired and glazed, showed up at our house in perfect condition. Highly recommend for a fun non-beach day in Sarasota!

We visited here last summer for something fun to do. We loved it! We painted ceramics and then paid to have them shipped back to us (we were from out of state). The lady who worked there was super friendly, helpful and really great. Just make sure to call ahead to see if they allow painting on the day you want to go. I didnt call ahead when I went to show my sister how amazing the place was and there were no studio hours that day....all in all great experience, just should have more info on their website or Facebook about their hours and openings for open studio.
