They had displays out that they couldnt even order online for you. Ok not a big deal. But Amy, the store associate was incredibly rude. I saw the way she interacted with all the customers that came in while I was shopping and it was absolutely horrible. Probably the worst Id experienced. It made me feel like she wanted everyone to get out of the store.

Hated it. Walked in, nothing is stalked. Actually there is nothing anywhere. ( maybe going out of business?) Only half the boxes to buy items are stalked but none of the samples are out so you cant see the color of anything. If you cant see the product chances are youre not going to buy it. No one greeted me or asked if I needed help.

The woman here was extremely rude to me today, more passive aggressive than anything but she just seemed like she hates her job and did not want to assist me. I immediately left I felt so uncomfortable. 4/6

I have never had a bad experience at this location, I find Olga to be very knowledgeable in all of the different brands. Love how this store is super relaxed easy going.

I come to this location often. Let me just say it has become like a second home. The staff is very knowledgeable and always available to help and guide me in the right direction without being pushy. I love this store and will continue to shop here.

Hours are not correctly posted. Doors were locked for several minutes after they were suppose to be open. Very unprofessional. Go to the store at UTC mall. You’ll have a much better experience there than this location.

I have no idea WHERE the comments come from, I question the reality of them? I stopped in to Sephora on a whim, I have been buying products for years at my store back in Michigan. I needed a new foundation, they tested my skin color, I was nicely asked if I would like matte, dew, etc. finishes, she decided to show me each finish and I could decide, WOW, that rarely if ever happens at the UTC Mall store. It is truly sad that this store cannot do the The Full-Face Makeover it is sad, the girls at this Sephora are kind, BEAUTIFUL, and truly want you to not only look your best, but feel comfortable with your look. It would be nice if you changed your policy for this store to do the full makeup, many people are on vacation in this area it being Siesta Key and all, traffic wise it is much easier to go here than UTC, from all the million dollar+ condos in and around Sarasota waterfront.

No idea where these comments are coming from. Everytime I go to this Sephora (hate UTC mall btw its boring and over priced) the sales girls literally load me up with samples, and most of the time I dont even ask. Its quiet there and everyone seems helpful. Theres maybe one time one girl was slightly -slightly not as willing for me to sample, but Im a card carrier and obv buy so --its whatever to me. I like the place over all. The UTC Mall Sephora is terrible, its super crowded, loud and they are not sample friendly at all. One recent example, It took me a week to get a sample. They first said they were out of bottles. Then I called today and bottles where in. I drove down there ( the jcpenny location didnt have the brand I was interested in) and the gal said the bottles where out, I said I called and they were in, then she said she couldnt let me sample bc there was no bags, and if it spilled they are liable? I insisted i would just hold the sample/didnt care/it wouldnt spill, but then she said she cant bc they also dont have the labels and they have to label in order to give sample. I said Ill just take a pic of the actual bottle next to the sample as proof of whats what. Finally after all that, I said look Ill just buy the foundation, then return it tomorrow (making my own sample at home) to which I finally got the sample, with the label on it. (when they said they where out). Im not knocking any one I just find whenever I go to that specific location, its very very hard to get a sample. Yes Im not dressed up, yes Im young, but Ive dropped $120 on a face lotion a few times at SAKS, so Im in it to spend money if I like the product.I do agree with some other posts that sometimes I feel the employees judge the customers? I dunno-who knows. I will make the drive to the jcpenny location as a preference!

My daughter and I went in because I wanted some new foundation that wasn’t to cakey and she loves Sephora. The store didn’t seem too busy so my daughter asked the sales girl about finding the correct color for my skin and could she (the salesgirl) try some on me. The girl seemed really put off and without saying sure I would be glad to help she just asked in a rushed manor if my skin was dry or oily and when I showed her where on my face it tends to be dry she blew me off and she started touching my face with this little machine that beeped a few times and without ANY interaction with us she put a swatch of foundation on me and my daughter and I concluded we needed a little more coverage and the girl very rudely said which is it? you don’t want too much makeup but you want more coverage? My daughter and I looked at each other and I said you know what I am all set I don’t want anything. As we got up to leave she seemed to catch her self and started saying oh so a medium coverage? and we just kept walking her rudeness list her over 100.00 in sales. I will go to ultra from now on. When you work in customer service you could at least pretend you like your job and the customer isn’t a bother! Maybe we weren’t dressed like we have money but I work and I have money I actually just had surgery 5 days ago and I had a T-shirt and jeans on.I don’t need to flaunt it. This girl needs a lesson on customer service and a personality.

Awful customer service :( They need to teach the girls how to be nice and respectful. Super rude why would anyone want to go to this store. Just terrible :(Going to Ulta today if I want a foundation that only Sephora carries I will order it from company direct before I would set foot in this store.

Poor service and during a phone call to ask a question employee hung up the phone on me while I was midsentence. Better to drive all the way to UTC for better customer service.

This place doesnt even deserve any stars, period! I went Sephora a couple days earlier and this lady legit just walked up to us (me and my friend) and asked us are we are going to buy something. And I was about to ask her if they sold any of the Nars eyelid primar and she was like yes, we walked over there and saw that their is only one left, but no tester, so she opened a BRAND new package and tested it on us, not knowing that she had other plans. She tested it on my friend, but we thought it took a while to dry, so we (all three of us) went to look for another eyelid primar and yes we found one. The woman took the one that we opened earlier that was brand new, and checked it out. My friend said we dont want that one and she snapped at us and said why not! And we just looked at each other in shock, she took the primar and threw it straight in the trash can and said well you shouldve of told me before I opened a new one. First of all we didnt realize that and could you act a little more professional? Anyways I dont ever recommend going here
