When I moved to the Sarasota/Venice area, I searched online for an amazing philanthropic fashion boutique to become involved in by using my gifts and talents to help women and children. Indeed, I found exactly (actually more than imaginable) what I was looking for and I am thrilled beyond measure to be honored with a volunteer position... Designing Women Boutique, you have my heart!

It’s disheartening to see fur coats sold anywhere, second hand or not. If one would consider the brutality behind the making of a fur coat perhaps they would choose something different. I was disappointed to see that the store had no scruples in this regard.

This place is lovely and the staff as helpful as I needed them to be. Contrary to what the other (Chinese) lady claimed. I too am Chinese and I was treated like a Queen. I think she ought to stop whining, get a life and look for the obvious good in this place.

I have volunteered for over eight years with DWB -- that alone should say something about this organization. It is without a doubt the most beautiful consignment boutique inSarasota. the merchandise is very high-end and youll always find a bargain!

The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. I felt that the selection was quality. You could see that there was some high end merchandise. I will definitely go back to shop there again.

I was the only asian woman among the shoppers and only one associate was nice to me. The lady by the furniture. The rest just ignored me. And when i checked out, I asked a question to one of the cashier and she just said, what. Does not have any manners. She stared at me and i believed that most of the emplyees working there (aside from the nice associate i mentioned) are prejudice. They entertained the caucasian shoppers that came in, informed them how the ticket tag works,, etc etc..but they never did that to me when i came in. I bought an item though it was pricey. But i am not going back there nor i will recommend them to friends. They are not friendly at all...
