One of my favorite coffee shops to visit. Such a warm and inviting space and the staff very welcoming.Ordered a honey comb latte which had honey and caramel.....really good. My husband ordered the hibiscus iced tea and it was also flavorful and refreshing.We also ordered two breakfast croissants. The spinach and ricotta was soooooo good. The turkey and cheese was good too but could have a few more minutes in the warmer. Still, we ate it all.Primarily indoor seating available. One table outside. Definitely a nice ambience all around. Will return!

Very good coffee. Comfortable indoor seating. Not too many options for food (no fresh croissants just muffins & cookies- they do have a couple of fresh savory items from a local bakery). Clean. Try their filthy chai! (Two shots of espresso mixed with chai latte - oh my!!!)

Cool little coffee shop in Gulf Gate. Trendy and modern vibe. Theyre always so kind to my children in there, I cant give them anything other than a 5-star review. Great coffee, great service, great people!

Visiting from Jacksonville, FL. I love venturing to local coffee shops whenever I travel anywhere. The pictures online of the shop were the deciding factor in coming here over a different spot. Walked in and loved the ambiance! The music, the art on the walls, the smell of coffee in the air—all very nice and welcoming! I really liked their fox logo, too! Left with a t-shirt, a sticker, and a delicious iced Honey Comb latte.

We stopped in here multiple times. The people that work here are excellent and very helpful. The coffee is perfectly made and there are a lot of options. If we lived in Sarasota, this would be our regular coffee shop for sure! Really enjoyed the atmosphere in this coffee shop.

We got coffee here when visiting from out of town and the coffee is great. The workers know all the regulars by name and it was nice to see. Natalie, I think, spent 10 minutes directing an Uber driver to the cafe to pick up an order and went outside to wait and wave him down. Awesome customer service and amazing coffee. Will be back next time in town.

Went to this coffee shop multiple times during my trip to Sarasota and was never disappointed. They have a great selection of espresso drinks and multiple drip coffee choices (my favorite). I’m a decaf drinker, and it’s hard to find a decaf that tastes like the original. This place—not the case. Honestly, it’s the best cup of decaf, cold brew I’ve ever had! Others traveling with me all thought the regular was awesome too.

Cozy spot. Good coffee. Fairly priced. Great service. Got a tasty mocha latte with an extra shot of espresso to go, but hung out for a bit onsite. They also have locally sourced pastries and a few sandwich options advertised, but I didnt try any of the food. Cash and credit accepted. P.S. there was only one person working at the time I went, and she was doing everything, so a bit of a wait while she made every individual order. Not a problem at all, but just in case anyone is tight on time, keep that in mind.

Cozy, comfortable, and delicious coffee. I only wish there was a little more seating because it has gotten pretty popular and does get a bit busy in the late mornings and early afternoons. They have punch cards, so you can occasionally get a free drink. They also give you a ton of foam on your cappuccino, which is how I like it! Also, they have crayons and paper for coloring. Im an adult, but find it pretty relaxing!Update: After being a regular here for over a year I can confirm this is my favorite spot in town. The employees and the owner are extremely kind and friendly, and that really makes the experience even better. Its such a welcoming space.

Very cute little shop, friendly staff, great atmosphere even during this weird time. Only downside was I should have tasted my coffee before I left as I asked for vanilla flavoring to be added and I dont believe it was and if it was,then they didnt use enough to be able to taste it. Absolutely my fault for not tasting that it was sweet like I wanted it before I left. Still a good strong coffee though and Ill still go again for sure.

I have been visiting local coffee shops recently. I spent my morning at the Clever Cup today to catch up on school work. This has been my favorite thus far! 🤗The young ladies were super friendly and welcoming. The shop was cozy, clean and comfortable. I loved the clever fox decor and nik naks. Oh, and of course the BEST hot latte, with flavor might I add, I have had to date!!!☕❤☕🌞Clever Cup is a MUST to visit!! Enjoy alone or with a friend! 🥰👏

My favorite coffee place in the area so far. I hate uppity pretentious coffee shops but I like options and this place has it all. My husband and I stopped in on Labor Day and I got a pumpkin spice iced latte and he got a honeycomb latte. Both were fantastic. There were a lot of options I wanted to try so I will definitely be back. If it wasn’t for COVID this would be a place I would stop and read or get some work done. So glad to have found The Clever Cup!

Since I dont drink coffee or tea, I tried the hot chocolate. It was yummy & went with my chocolate/cream cheese muffin quite well!

A nice little café with non dairy option for your coffee. They also offer vegan pastry. Nice and service minded staff. They also offer free WiFi. I highly recommend this place.

Espresso drinks, best in the area. Coffee was garbage. We had the light roast and medium roast, both went down the drain. I would suggest not to deviating off the menu, the results arent favorable.

Delicious cold brew.I love that they offer coffee ice cubes! Gluten free muffins were delicious. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. And everything was a fair price. I’ll have to come back to try their oat milk.

Finally found a strong chai without honey in it. The place is ocean friendly and the people are very sweet. There are vegan options as well, lots of discounts, and water readily available. Nice stop to get work done, talk with friends, etc.

Excellent hidden little gem in Gulf Gate! I was recommended to The Clever Cup Coffee while getting my oil changed across the street. From the moment you walk in youre greeted with a friendly hello from the staff. It has a nice, open floorplan with comfortable seating. The coffee is excellent! I will be heading back there this weekend with the girlfriend to get the full breakfast experience as they had some food options that looked really delicious!

Loooooooove this place! Okay so, its in a pretty rough part of town, I get it, but the inside is extremely clean and beautifully designed. 11/10 coffee shop atmosphere. The menu is pretty extensive so you can get pretty much whatever coffee or tea concoction you desire. Friday nights they have open mic night. Its loads of fun!!!

Super friendly service. Love that they have a selection of games and books for people to play. Everything looked delicious and was brought out and served promptly and with a smile. Our barista was very easy to talk to, answered questions, and provided lots of options. My only criticism is that the seating is dreadfully uncomfortable. Its hard to linger over a cup of coffee and conversation in chairs that are very uncomfortable. A little padding would go a long way. Overall, a very nice experience and we will shortly be back.
