I purchased a dishwasher, microwave, stove and refrigerator for my condo. All appliances are white. The dishwasher and microwave were both installed. Even though I paid for the installation I was asked to pay $45 more. I also paid to have the old appliances removed.The installation and delivery for the microwave and dishwasher went well but I could not get an explanation for the extra $45 fee. I called the Santa Barbara store and Paul answered. He said the only person to answer that question is Josh. I have called many times to talk to Josh only to be told he is busy, on vacation, on his day off etc. it has been about 2 weeks and I still haven’t heard from him. I was also assured that the refrigerator and stove would be delivered in July. Now I am told delivery is in October which is unacceptable. I had to put the old refrigerator back and I cancelled the stove and bought it at another place with a guarantee date of July 28. I tried to find out if my stove was truly cancelled and credited as well as adding credits for the removal fees. I was told that the only person to help me there was, you guessed it, Josh! I can’t contact him at all. Customer service at the Santa Barbara facility needs a policy change. I am beyond frustrated!!

I LOVE this store, principally because I had the BEST sales person EVER. Jonnie Martel is professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I appreciate a sales person who describes the features and benefits of the various brands of appliances; someone who can explain why a particular product will best suit my needs and wants. Jonnie is that person. He made the job of purchasing all of the appliances for my new home a painless and pleasurable task.

Excellent service! They delivered the washer and dryer on time and installed them in less than an hour. They hauled away the old units and the packing materials from the new units. Very happy with the sales and service!

We went to a few other appliance stores in town but settled on WDC because Jonathan M. was super knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered the washer and dryer on Thursday and they were able to install today (Saturday). The whole delivery process was super smooth, from the confirmation text last night to the text that the truck was ten minutes out this morning. The installers took the old units and cleanly installed the new ones in just a few minutes. 10/10 appliance buying experience

Order was more than half a week delayed over what was promised when it would be delivered. When I asked the delivery scheduler about this she said, “Sales has no idea how to schedule” very unprofessional. Then the delivery team was one of the most unprofessional teams I have met. During installation, they tried to convince me that I needed a $5 part but said it would cost $120, “but since I’m already out here I can give you a deal for like $90” this was a total scam as the part was fine and even if it did need replacement it was no where near the price.

We ordered several top brand appliances with extended warranties from WDC. I would not recommend purchasing from this company. The Miele dishwasher was broken and the part was nearly as much as the cost of the dishwasher. The diswasher was hardly used. Waited nearly two months. Still not repaired. Bosch micriwave quit working. Called for warranty help. Was told they would call back. They didnt. Now they say they cant find anyone in the area to fix it. Next week before they will hear back. This is supposed to be good service? I dont think it is.,.

The service is very poor. I ordered a dishwasher at the store and paid for it and the installation. I was told that I would receive a scheduling call in 24 hours. I have not received a call and that was 3 days ago. I called the store 2 times and they assured me that I would get a scheduling call. Im going back to the store to get a refund because I do not believe that they will deliver and install the unit.

The worst EVER! The installers had to come to the house 3 times to install appliances because they did not allot enough time to do it at one time. They never came back to install 2 of our appliances, after several phone calls and weeks later we still have not been able to get them up to the house. I will NEVER use this company again.

The worst! Our Miele dishwasher broke and we needed a replacement. We came in and worked with a salesperson named Julian. We ordered another Miele that would fit in the same space as our broken dishwasher. The dishwasher was $1700. When the installers arrived they opened the dishwasher and noticed that it was an “ADA” compliant version which is much shorter than the one we needed. The installer said: “oh they screwed up”. We sent the dishwasher back and found another one somewhere else. We called the store and they agreed they had screwed up and they apologized. We just got our credit card statement and we were charged $200 because the “box was opened”. So bottom line: Julian screws up and ordered us the wrong dishwasher and then when we find out Julian charges us $200. Wow! What a business model. On the principle of the matter this behavior is outrageous. What a waste of time for us, the installers and everyone else at WDC and as a topper this situation has left us very unsatisfied.Update: Management contacted us and remedied the situation. This didnt need to happen but kudos to them for addressing.

It took weeks for WDC to send the dishwasher instal team, and I had to call them multiple times to get them to do it AFTER i paid them. The dayI bought it they told me the instal team would come within two days. Then when my new dishwasher broke down about 30 days after I bought it, they told me the repair that was covered by my warranty would take about a month before the repair person could come. So the warranty was useless and I had to pay for my own dishwasher repair. One of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had with any company ever.

Horrible, horrible customer service!! WARNING do not shop here. Very unpleasant experience. I am writing this for my elderly parents who just purchased a microwave. It was installed on May 13, 2020, by May 15, 2020 it stopped working. Called the store and they said an installer had to come out to check the installation. They sent one out on May 19, 2020 and the installers said it was installed properly, so they said the next step was to have Samsung come out to check the microwave, it might be a loose part. Two days later they got a call from a rep at Samsung, bad connection, sounded like an off shore caller, it was difficult for them to understand this person. But this rep said the earliest they could send a rep would be May 29th. My parents told her that was not acceptable, they just bought this and it should be replaced with a new, working microwave. This is what they use to cook. The rep said she would get back to my parents but they did not. Then my parents called the store on May 20th, spoke to a sales person but because my parents did not have the name of the rep, they could not get any information in order to help my parents. So the salesperson said he would see what he could do and get back to my parents. So far they have not. Then my mother called today, May 22nd, and asked to speak to the manager, he was in a meeting, and she left a message for the manager to call her back so this can be resolved, but he has not called back. I feel she is getting the run around. They dont want to replace this defective microwave. They want talk to her. Obviously she has made several attempts to resolve this. When you purchase an appliance and it fails the next day, the company should stand behind the products they represent. That is what a good business does. In closing, my parents will continue to pursue other avenues to resolve this.

Josh V. was a STAR! Josh is so knowledgeable and that knowledge was key to my choice of washing machine. He could have sold me a bigger, more expensive model-but it was not what I was looking for. He really is an amazing resource if you have questions in general about appliances and need help choosing the appliance you need. Bravo!! Told the management they should make him a partner!

I appreciate the help that was given when we ordered the dishwasher. But now that its installed, I would have appreciated more help about how to use it!! Its quite different from the one I had for more than 15 years!! I did ask questions from the installers, but they seemed to be in a big hurry (probably to the next installation), so they handed me some documents, and rattled off some information, then were gone! So, Im trying to learn as I go! I know I can always go back to where I bought it and get more information, thanks to Josh!

I had a great experience getting my countertops through WDC here in Santa Barbara. Craig was helpful every step of the way and had a wealth of design knowledge and ideas. My new quartz countertops are so beautiful and really pull the kitchen together. Through some of my other renovation projects its been hard to find the level of customer service and responsiveness that I found here at WDC, and I highly recommend them.

Josh Voth did a great job with our appliance order. He managed the entire process from start to finish and we are very happy with our kitchen appliances. He was able to give us great advice on what brands to buy for what appliances. For example even though we went with Viking Pro oven and range he said the Bosch dishwasher was better. We would definitely shop here again.On the plumbing fixture side Heather also did very good work even though our products were very delayed. I attribute the delay to a rookie employee (Andrew) who waited on us when Heather was out. Proper expectations were not set.

The sales team was helpful before we purchased our new dishwasher and refrigerator. The problem was appliances started having issues soon after we purchased them. Our old appliances that were 10-15 years old worked better than the new stuff. The dishwasher leaves everything wet and often food still on dishes. The refrigerator leaks water and the ice-maker stopped working after 8 months. I expect that buying new stuff would be an improvement or at least problem free. So I feel like we were sold lemons...

We researched competitors before choosing Warehouse Discount Center. Weve found WDC to be very helpful with three different remodel projects, the first a kitchen/living room/dining room remodel, the second a guest bathroom project, and most recently a remodel of the master bedroom-master bathroom. WDC has provided kitchen fixtures (sink, plumbing fixtures, refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, double-oven, range), and bathroom sinks, toilets, and plumbing fixtures. Great salesman great service. Terrible installation team. They put the refrigerator in place and left. No hookup of the water for ice no leveling. The bottom right door did not open due to the way the refrigerator was positioned.

Warning! I would do no stars if they let me! NO STARS! They do not deserve even one star! Do not shop here! Warning. 1) They ignore you 2) they sell you shoddy appliances 3) When they break (less than 1 month on my dryer) they tell you to call a number in INDIA! Horrible Customer Service! NO one is willing to help or stand by their items. Again, shop ANYWHERE but here!

Appliance department is pretty good. There is a guy named Josh that has been there a while and knows his stuff. Their plumbing and fixture department is a joke. My experience with Julian has now lasted almost 3 months. From day one it was very obvious that he was not familiar with any of this products but considering WDC is the only place you can order some of the brands that we selected we went with them. Ultimately we have spent around 14k on Appliances, countertops and plumbing fittings. Julian ordered the incorrect product 2x and then called me and notified me the part was in. The part was not in. It was a ploy to retain one of the two incorrect fittings that he wanted back in his inventory. He notified me that the part will be ready for me later this week. Fortunately I purchased this on my Amex and they have taken care of the issue. Do not buy anything from their plumbing department unless you need it next year and have an Amex. Julian has made a disgrace to his job as a sales person. You may as well click a button, at least you dont have to drive uptown and wait your turn in line to get help from an apathetic failure.

The worst idea ever. I have been waiting for 30 days for my refrigerator even though i was supposed to have it 7 days after the order and still have no idea when its coming.ALSO go to install the dishwasher and there is a special package you need to buy for each dishwasher and they did not tell me this when i bought it from there store and they dont carry it, you have to special order it.GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
