Another good way to see all that beautiful Santa Barbara has to offer is to go whale watching! The Sea Landing has a wonderful staff and crew to make sure you have an awesome experience whether you see something or not. Food and drinks are available for purchase on the Condor Express during your tour. Inside and outside seating and handicap accessible. Bundle up because it will be cold!!

Amazing experience to be had from this place. All of the staff were accommodating and informative and made sure that we had the best time we could. We were late 7 minutes with the rental that they allow according to the person that explains the rules from a mile away. Then they trying to change almost $100.00 more.Also $50.00 more for speeding in the area that is allowed they are not police, to give tickets, just trying to rip you offBe aware!!!

3/4 day is perfect!!We just got back to land and had a wonderful time. The deck hands were friendly and attentive, and the galley food was very good also. It was non stop action soon as we got out to the fishing grounds. A special thanks to the deckhand Martine for all of his extra help on the trip.

It was a really great experience getting certified by SEA! If you can, take Angies class. Shes truly the best instructor you can ever get. Everyone working there is professional and knowledgeable. My certification went nicely without any problem. Plus, they match Amazon if youre buying gears. Im glad I decided to do this.

We came here after my family and I was rejected from Santa Barbara Sailing Center. Sea landing had better prices and treated us with respect. And gave us a lot of information that later can be helpful to us. I will be coming back again for sure. Will be coming again here and renting more from this place then the other place at Santa Barbara sailing center.

My family and I went on the whale watching tour. This was the worst experience Ive ever had on a boat. They said the wind might pick up but it wouldnt effect seeing any whales or dolphins. What they didnt tell me is that everyone on the boat would be sea sick, meaning you cant sit down in the cabin away from sun and exposure, throwing up over the boat and getting 3rd degree sunburns. We stayed out an extra hour on the water which made the experience all that much worse and drawn out. They gave out passes to come back for free but didnt off a penny back to anyone for a absolutely horrible trip. No whales no dolphins no fun!! My family is now recovering from the worse sunburns they have ever had... This is our worst experience in our life on the water. We will never go back out with this company. They should of canceled the trip but instead decided to get everyone sea sick and to deliver a terrible experience to their customers so they could pay their bills that day. We all became victims of the captains bad choices.

They crew was very nice and friendly. We didnt get to see any whales but we saw lots of common dolphins. We were given a stamp to come back for free which was really nice. 😁😉

Get ther early if you are taking a chartered boat. The marina is at the far end and parking on that end is limited for vehicles without trailers. Please be aware you will pay for parking. The charter was great! The crew was excellent and the bite was good.

Went out fishing on the Coral Sea. The crew were nice and helpful. We have a good time fishing there.

Second time fishing here with family and friends.Today Rock, with Captain Raffa/Raffi Jon and his elite crew.. He made a call early that we were not going to go the channel islands and we were going to fish up and down the coast today. An it paid off, never caught so many Barracudas and Calico Bass,plus other assorted fish as well. I just want to give them a Big Shout Out..I will definitely be back once we eat all this fish!

Not so friendly crew member.I took my 3.5 year old with me during the past labor day long weekend, and wanted to show him the whales and dolphins. Two hours into the trip, my son started not feeling well, so I held him up and try to make him feel comfortable. Unfortunately he eventually vomited and some of the stuffs spilled over the bench. I immediately asked for the plastic bag (just in case he vomit again) and paper tower (to clean up the bench).Then a male crew member came over, and ask us to leave the cabin right away. My son was so scared, and refused to move. I was heartbroken, and tried to calm him down. What really surprised me is the exact crew member threatened to throw all our stuffs out from the cabin. I was outraged and felt helpless. Eventually I promised to clean up the bench myself if my son vomits again.That was really a bad and unpleasant trip. I would never recommend Sea Landing or Condor Express to any family with kids.

We got a giant paddle board for 4 people for 50 dollars an hour. They told us we should get 2 hours in case we didnt come back in time which was another 20 dollars. It was a fun experience and worth a try. The only thing is that when you go in you have to leave an id. When we got back they forgot to give it back to us. They called the next morning to let us know though so luckily we were still in Santa Barbara.

Went out on the Coral Sea for 3/4 day fishing frenzy! We hit our limits early, but were allowed to continue fishing and shared our catch with others. Josh was there to encourage, help with tangles and newbies onboard. Captain was quick to find and follow the large reds all day. Fantastic day with delicious fish tacos for dinner (along with a freezer stuffed with beautifully filleted fish). Thank you.

Amazing kayaking experience

Took a half day trip yesterday and the crew was amazing, the fish were biting and it was such a fun and safe trip to take with my best friend. We each caught our limit!! Super professional crew, very helpful and right there when you need them but not pushy or rude. Best fishing experience I have ever had! I would 100% recommend these guys to anybody interested in going fishing, whether you know what youre doing or not they will make sure that you get fish and you have a great time.

Took the morning whale watching tour and it was well worth it! We scored the perfect day with quiet waters and a warm breeze. Saw lots of humpback whales displaying an array of whale behaviours. Several times poking their heads up and unexpected breechings (full body jumps out of the water).A large group of Dolphins came and swam with us for a while, Jumping and splashing alongside and in front of the boat.Sea lions were also abundant in the waters and harbour. A very good trip with wonderful sightings.The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We lucked out with a lighter crowd on the boat - I know how unpleasant it can be on a packed boat but we were quite prepared to stay on the outside for the full trip. We stayed outside for the majority of the trip anyways.Well cooked by the end of the day, but this is our own faults for not packing sunscreen. Don’t forget sunscreen & sunglasses if you’re planning on heading out!Very happy with this company. They hosted a fantastic whale watching experience.I would have loved to see a Blue whale but it’s luck of the draw on the given day for which specials is in the area. Maybe another time! :)

This is a yearly favorite grampa and grandsons fishing trip. The crew is always spot on. The galley makes the most fantastic breakfast sandwiches, and burgers for lunch that has ever sailed the seas. I the wife would ever let me really retire, I would be there weekly. Keep it up Stardust. :)

I had a great time fishing with Sea Lading, but I was thoroughly disappointed with their customer service and how they do business. I called Sea Landing and made reservations for 2 after given a quote...$57 a person? And thats it? Yes, sir...only $57 person for the half-day. Only when I arrived the day to fish, I was hit with unexpected expenses which were never explained to me over the phone, such as the fishing license, pole and tackle rental fees, etc. Another hidden fee: I can clean you fish for you if you want. Okay! I replied. Only later do you find out its $1 per fish they clean. Not a big deal, but reveal the expense before you offer a service! Theres also no free water on board...you have to pay to be hydrated. How simple it would be to provide free access to portable water? I was especially disappointed to see one of the deck hands, Rafa, liter his cigarette butts in the ocean. I saw this occur at least 5 times during the course of my trip. Oh....and I was told its a cash only boat. Only...when you ask for change, they say they dont have it. Even when you see money in their hands at the end of the day (when they collect lunch/drinks dues, cleaning fish dues, etc), they tell you they dont have change. They do this so that they can collect more tips. For example, my bill for lunch came to $39. I had a $50 bill. Did they have change? Nope. Another thin I didnt like. They told everyone wed be back by 3:00pm; only the captain took us whale watching, so we didnt return to the dock till 4:30. Not that I mind the experience of whale watching; however....I do greatly mind having to cancel my 5:00 dinner reservations at the Biltmore (cant show up smelling like fish!). So overall....I enjoyed my time fishing (and caught a few for sure), but....I hated their disrespect for the ocean (Rafas butts), I disagree with the hidden fees, and I abhor their contriving way of collecting tips.

A good time at Sea Landing Big fish

Learning to dive can be a pretty scary thing, and apparently theres a lot that can go wrong if youre not careful or mindful of safety. I got open water certified in July/August and the folks at bamboo reef were very thorough in all aspects of teaching, particularly safety. My instructors were extremely patient and made sure everyone in the group mastered the skillset before moving on. Every step from the pre-class orientation to the check out dives was executed flawlessly.

Its the best place where you can rent jetskis boat trips and bunch of other stuff. The employees are friendly and nice. And after a short instruction for the vehicle you are ready. Just great.

The office staff was helpful and moved quickly. Great day out on the water. Spent a day fishing and we were able to spot humpback whales and dolphins along the way. The crew of the ship was great, helpful and hardworking the entire trip. The ice sold here is a e pensive so do yourself a favor and pick some up on your way in.

My experience with the crew of the Coral Sea was nothing less than luxury! The skipper Corey knew his stuff and got us on the fish. I cant speak more highly of the crews ability to keep a clean ship and have such positive attitudes towards the customers, I personally have worked on charter boats and know the crew on some boats just dont care enough, but Patrick and Chillie sure cared! If anyone wants to go on a nice trip with good people and great fish go out on the Coral Sea out of Sea Landing!

I can only speack for the fishing experience I had on the coral sea...it sucked... Deck hands making fun of other passengers... Very rude personal. Even captain guppy got on his load speaker and insulted some people on the boat... Lets not mention the old man who fell over during rough seas but the entire crew was in with captain guppy sitting on there butts. Absolutely horrible... Will never charter another fishing trip with these guys

Truth aquatics has been my favorite West Coast dive experience for the past 25 years. Their professionalism expertise and friendliness make them the best on the west coast as far as Im concerned. The boats are top notch, the crews are fun, knowledgeable and very helpful.

Went out on the Stardust Sunday 3/22/15. Had a GREAT time. The Captain kept us on fish all day in spite of the current and wind. The entire crew have a great positive attitude and always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. Didnt matter if you were a novice or a salty dog everyone was just as important as the next. Ive been in the service industry over 35 years and nothing could top what I experienced on the Stardust. Tight lines. And the burgers YUM.

We rented kayaks from SEA landing and had a pretty fun time paddling around the harbor. Getting set up, however, was not so much fun. After we paid, the attendant disappeared into the office, leaving us to figure things out. My friend and I were both inexperienced when it comes to kayaks, so we really could have used some help strapping in our seats and putting the kayak in the water, but none was available, and there were no employees on the dock. We had to ask a random guy who was painting his boat where to launch. Great location and relatively cheap, but there is definitely room for improvement when in the customer service department.

I fished the Coral Sea a few weeks back and was blown away by the whole staff and experience. From my initial reservation issues with Jamie being handled beautifully to watching Frank and the other crew handling tangle after tangle like nothing I was beyond impressed. The captain kept the boat positioned amazingly with almost everybody fishing straight up and down; plus these guys must have been handling about 30-50 tangles an hour amongst the novice anglers. It seemed like they never let up and would often finish out a tangle when a lesser crew would have cut everything. Definitely come prepared to tip these guys well; they will earn it and then some!I brought a mix of avid anglers and first timers. Everybody caught a full bag of fish and had a blast. The beds and amenities were awesome too! Im a fan for sure! Thanks for making using my old passes so easy Jamie!

First a disclaimer: The dive company is awesome. They are separate companies but the same name so easily confused. Our dive boat and crew were great, the boat, crew and food were top notch.The dive shop however was a different story. First, the man helping us shouldnt be in customer relations. He was unfriendly and rude. Maybe just a bad day but he acted like we were a burden when we were trying to give him hundreds of dollars for dive gear and rental equipment for a four-day boat dive trip. While he was helping us, others came in and he blew them off like they were also a burden to him. It started with my brother forgetting his C-card and when we tried to make something work with him he had no interest in helping. I completely understand his concern regarding liability, but his lack of interest in trying to make something work was mind blowing from a customer service standpoint. We couldnt reach NAUI because it was too late at night. We ended up having the instructor on our boat rent the tank, then validated my brothers cert on the boat in the morning and it worked great.The second frustration was upon returning we got our 10# of soft weights mixed up with another divers soft weights. Both were lead bead but the ones we were trying to return were made of a different fabric. Instead of working with us they billed us for the rental of the 10# that were missing, then ALSO made us buy the 10# for an additional cost of $53.I run a customer service company and if I treated my customers this way I would be out of business. However with SEA Landing they seem to be just fine with this level of customer disservice. Next year we will take our business elsewhere for rental.

Great experience renting kayaks with Sea Landing! A self-service entity- one simply gets a life jacket and seat support-and with minimal directions sent out toward the platform to get kayaks and paddles. Devon offered to help if we needed assistance (we didnt - despite the fact that some in our group were newbies over 60 years old, and the other half not too far behind!) The kayaks and gear were in good working order, and the use of the platform to launch, though a bit unsteady (dont have more than one person stand on it at a time), was easier than launching off the coast with breaking waves. There were nine in our group, some sharing kayaks and splitting payments, but the cashier was patient and helpful- never a terse word or sign of annoyance. Fair prices and great staff - thank you Sea Landing! The women from Crossroads Church in Buellton will be back!

One of our favorite landings to go fish for rockfish. The deckhands are very helpful ans on the spot takimg care of tangles, retying hook, hekpimg out with snags etc... If you looling to catch bigger fish, make sure you come to this landing and fish on the Stardust or Coral Sea.
