Great little shop which had a decent selection of dive equipment, t-shirts, caps, Haviana flip flops amongst many other items. They carry the Salty Crew shirts which originated in Santa Barbara. Prices were reasonable and employees were helpful and courteous 😊👍👍👍👍

Jethro’s passion, experience and hospitality is first rate. Even novices like me get treated very well. Other shops should take lessons from the attitudes and service from Blue Warner Hunter…. highly recommend the shop.

These guys are a pain to deal with. It took weeks longer than I was told to get my gun and fins. Jethro (the owner) said he would have it in stock in a few days. After many calls without a call back, I have taken my business elsewhere. They have horrible communication skills. Do not shop here. There are two other shops in Santa Barbara with way better ways of treating and communicating with their customers.

Horrible communication skills. I missed out on surfing the best swell of the season while they had my wetsuit in for 3 weeks to repair a busted seam. Last I was told, the repair was half completed - the seam was supposedly glued but still needed to dry and be stitched - and would be finished in a day or two. I called back after not hearing from them for over a week to learn that the repair was never even started.If you value honesty and/or communication, I suggestion taking your money elsewhere.

Fantastic dive shop. The owner Andy is very knowledgeable and friendly. The equipment he sells is high quality, and he is prompt on tank refills.

I bought my son his first real speargun last summer at Blue Water Hunter and he has already taken multiple rock fish, his first yellowtail and 2 halibut, one of them being 15 pounds! This would not have been possible without the help of Blue Water Hunter and their expert staff who gave him a wealth of information and helped with his confidence. Thank You Blue Water Hunter!P.S. Walked in on a Saturday without a plan and hoping to do a lobster dive. The owner was tremendously knowledgeable and helpful. He helped me plan a day trip, get my remaining equipment and made it a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this shop right on the marina .
