The food was delicious and very appealing to look at.Due to being close to Cedar Point this place is always packed. Once we ordered it took a little while for our food to be brought out, but it was worth the wait. My kids loved their pancakes!

Susie and Jamie were amazing, really helped us to end our cedar point trip on a GREAT note. For that I thank the both of you.. Susie was super attentive and knowledgeable of all the food and drinks. The community is lucky to have her! Jamie was like a Coffee/Drink ninja with how quick and efficient she was.. Normally there would at least be two people on that job alone it was just her and it was almost like she duplicated herself to get the job done. I always say its important to acknowledge when some ones performance is more then exceptional. You are a grinder and I shows 💪-Thanks again!

Really Busy even in October. The waiting room was small and packed we waited outside. They have a big menu and many options. The drinks were good. The service was speedy. The inside was really loud. They did have us separated inside very well though. Lots of Gluten free options.

The BEST breakfast in Sandusky, Ohio! Period. Point. Blank. Visited here while on vacation. I was told the wait time would be 20 minutes, but the waiting time actually took 5 minutes for a table for 4. The workers are so sweet and they tend very well to customers. Our food was so good I truly believe everything on the menu is top notch. Whenever I and family return we will be back!

Eat here, not there.UPDATE: 2ND visit wasnt as great. Chicken was overdone and chewy. The omelets of my girls were bleh, I couldnt eat one she didnt want to eat, thats rare. Price was way too much for what we got. It was busy I know, but that will define a place. Overall, meh. Might be a third visit, but remains to be seen. Losing one star on this one.

Great breakfast place (didnt try any lunch items). I was in town with some friends to go to Cedar Point and was glad to find this place. The blueberry pancakes were great and everyone enjoyed their food. I wish I lived closer so I could try a bunch of other menu items. Or waitress was great and it was nice being able to pay using the QR code on the receipt. I wish more places had that option for payment.

This breakfast was delicious!! It was some of our favorite food on our visit through Sandusky. The menu has a great variety of nutritional food as well as Gluten Free options. The Pancake House has partnered with local farms and the Eat Local attitude has made their food stand out above the rest! Highly recommend sitting at the counter for accommodating and friendly front row service!

Wait staff was kind. Food was delicious. Husband got potato pancakes & Commodore Perry Bloody Mary. Loved them. Next time well remember order applesauce. I enjoyed my blackberry mimosa. Nice touch with our brunch. Even though we waited for an hour, it was worth it. Will go again when in town.

After visiting Kalahari Resort we came across this little gem. Nice interior decor! Food was fantastic and will definitely go out of our way next time we are in the area. A little pricey but in this case Im willing to pay for this quality breakfast. Do not hesitate and enjoy!!

We came from Mansfield to eat at this wonderful establishment. The food is out of this world! There is so much to choose from. The entire staff was very friendly and seemed very happy to be working there. We had iced coffee after our meal, amazing! They know there stuff, prices were great too! We will be back again and again, as theres a lot of good food on the menu.

We visited the Pancake House for the first time during a visit to Great Wolf Lodge. It is literally just outside of the Lodge. The decor and the staff were wonderful. Very friendly folks. Great selection of tasty pancakes and other traditional breakfast fare. They also had some very unique syrup flavors. Maple BBQ for the win! They also sell cocktails, which I didnt get to try this time around. Look forward to going back again soon.

We were blown away by this little jewel in Sandusky. We camp here a few times a year to go Cedar Point, so were always on the lookout for a good breakfast spot. And this one is, by far, our new favorite.All of the dishes were fantastic. Their specialty coffee beverages were delicious. Perhaps a little sweet for my taste, but thats a running theme here. The restaurant was clean and food came out quick. Our server, Brooke, was very friendly and made us and our young children feel very welcome.Were just tourists in the area for the weekend, but I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often. 5 stars for sure.

Excellent local breakfast (and more) restaurant. Their cold brew coffees are exceptional and the food is great too - fluffy homemade pancakes of course, but delicious breakfast meats, thoughtful/healthy options that actually taste good for those trying to behave, a great kids’ menu, and a very friendly wait staff. This has got to be one of the cutest breakfast spots I’ve ever been to! Our server, Maliyah, was absolutely delightful. The food was so tasty and the service was attentive from all the staff who came to our table.The outdoor patio space was beautiful, as well!Anyone who says that this food has no taste or is blind must have no tastebuds. 10/10, delicious, amazing, surprising! I was expecting Denny’s level of quality from this restaurant that used to be Perkins. But I was blown away! The food is delicious, presentation was so unexpected. Service was quick and still hot despite it being Father’s Day, and very crowded. Alberta is a gem, so friendly and made us feel right at home. Great pancakes, great waffles, great bacon, great potatoes and eggs, theres nothing this place seems to lack for breakfast. If you are a breakfast lover this is a great place to go. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table of eight but it was well worth it.

A very good breakfast place. Even though it says pancake house, the waffles are the best. The special cocktails taste great and the staff is super friendly. The only down side is is that the food quality is varying. Went there on a weekend to great food, only to come back on a weekday to okay food. We then went back on a weekend to find great food again, though it should be that way all throughout the week.

A local gem. Brooke and Jamie at the bar are awesome…sit there and skip the wait! Fried green tomatoes are delicious and their food is fresh and creative. Exceeded our expectations and, as people who love to cook and eat delicious food, we’re critical when it comes to restaurants. Do yourselves a favor and skip Cracker Barrel, you’ll be so happy you did. Our only suggestion, get jalapeños and pepper jack cheese!

This place was recommended by two people while I was visiting Cedar point. Very happy with the service throughout. Wait time was stated to be 40 minutes but got seated in only 30. The server, Mina, was absolutely great! She was very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious and hot. Drinks were great as well, and yes the pancakes were also great. Will definitely stop here again, hopefully during our next visit to Cedar point.

Service was awesome. Reeses Peanut Butter Pancakes were great. I did not care for the potato pancakes. However, the owner/manager offered me something else. They did not charge me for cakes, gave us a to go order of regular pancakes and, did not charge us for the potato cakes. Definitely will be back! Thank you for awesome service!!

In this time of short staffing and inability to keep employees, my experience with Sandusky Pancake House was phenomenal. We were there Sunday and it was extremely busy. Not only did we get in before the wait time, our food came out accurate, quick, and delicious! Our server, Brook, was amazing! She was friendly, courteous, attentive and always one step ahead. I cannot say enough good things about her!

Nice cozy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. I really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. The gravy had great flavor, and biscuits were very tasty. Ill make Sandusky Bay Pancake House a regular stop whenever I am in the area.

Great food! We stopped here during our trip to Kalahari and I used the Tesla supercharger nearby (within a short walk) so we stopped here for breakfast. The staff was very nice and they had a nice outdoor area to enjoy eating it the open air. Overall, the food was delicious and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!

We really enjoy going to the Sandusky Bay Pancake House. The food is always good with fair prices. We go as often as we can. We never have to wait to be seated as the dining room is rather large.

Went went on a Saturday morning before going in to Cedar Point. They were busy but the wait was quick and the food and service were awesome! Highly recommend the pancakes and any of the coffee or mimosa drinks!

The food was good. The folding tables seem dangerous. My son somehow managed to almost sever his finger in the folding table. Some of the guests were unsavory. The people sitting behind us were using the N word and talking about slapping women real loud. Unacceptable language for any ethnicity or decent human being. My kids were scared of those people because of the language they were using. Our experience was less enjoyable.

Ate here Saturday 6/21 on the patio. Brooke was our server and could not have been more friendly and great with my kids. Quick service and hot food a plus. Highly recommended. If the weather is nice definitely sit outside if the space allows. We always like to try to eat locally versus chains and this is definitely the breakfast spot to hit if in the area.

Wow! Just had an amazing breakfast at Sandusky Bay Pancake House. The atmosphere really is that of a hometown restaurant. The menu was huge with a wide variety of offerings, but I couldnt pass up the Eggs Benedict. The plate and servings were huge. Our waitress was very nice and kept our drinks full (which to me is a sign of good service - so I tipped accordingly!). I only wish I had room for one of their desserts. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. 5/5 for atmosphere. 5/5 for service. 5/5 for food quantity and taste.

On a very busy Tuesday morning, my girlfriend and I went to the Sandusky Bay Pancake house before going to the water park. I got a Denver and she got Belgian Waffles. Let me tell you, these portions were HUGE and worth every dime. Jamie was a great server who was very attentive to our order even though she was very busy. This place is worth every penny. 5/5

Overrated.Potato pancakes were brown/gray & the waiter asked whats wrong with them when I said I wasnt going to consume that. Would you eat potatoes that are brown? You have to wash off the starch before cooking them!Bacon tasted like rubber. Potatoes were bland. Not really sure why everyone recommends this place. Never again.

We arrived about 8:15a.m not a large crowd nor wait. Were greeted and seating quickly party of 5. The waitress was prompt to attend to our table. The food came out quick and hot. The taste of the waffles and pancakes were good. Not too heavy, cooked light and fluffy. The scrambled eggs were cooked just right. As I added in items that did not just sit in a pile. Our bacon and ham cooked well without drying out the meat. Overall good food, good customer service. We would definitely come back to eat at this local establishment.

Our first experience here was not good, but Steven did everything possible to correct it. Tried them again yesterday, and had a completely different experience. Just went there for the first time In Sandusky Ohio. Let me tell Ya!! them Cinnamon Pancakes were AMAZING!!! Super good The lady that served us was Also very nice and polite. We thought it was kind of warm where we was sitting and she went to turn the air on for us. but the place was packed. but for the first time eating here it was really good. everyone should try this place at least once.

It was the worse place I have had breakfast in a long time. I had the corn beef hash (I love corn beef hash and never had a bad batch) and it tasted like hamburger helper without any sauce, terrible. Half of the potatoes were really hard. They have Texas toast instead of regular toast for my eggs (too much bread). And to boot, for two of us we paid 50$!! Ridiculous pricing!! Waitress was very good and the caramel macchiato was the best.

Absolutely amazing. This is by far the best breakfast experience of my life. Customer service is 10/10, they were extremely friendly and kind. The menu is huge, there really is a large variety here. Coffee was great. I had a cinammon roll with it, and it was delightful. I ordered corned beef hash, sunny side up eggs, and toast. Truly incredible. The corned beef hash was crispy, hot, and it tasted heavenly. The eggs werent overcooked, so they had a nice thick runny yolk that went great with the toast. Everything together made a delicious combination worth more than 5 stars. If youre considering eating here, please do. You wont regret it. No need to thank me, this is the best place for breakfast in Sandusky.

We ate on a busy Saturday morning and our food wasnt particularly hot when we got it possibly because of how busy they were. Our waitress was very nice but the food was just okay, and the Bloody Mary and mimosa were not very potent. Nice place but the fare did not live up to the pricing IMO.

This place was fantastic. I had an omelette and the kids had eggs and pancakes and my husband had pancakes too. The atmosphere was fantastic and our waitress was really good. We will be back if we are up that way again.

This is the fanciest pancake house Ive ever seen. Breakfast plates are $12-$15 each, coffees are Starbucks quality and run around $6 for something rather small, but the food is high quality. The wheat bread is some of the most delicious bread Ive ever had, and service is excellent. If you want a really delicious breakfast, try this place.

I came here around 11:00am with my mom and Customer service was really good. Food is amazing and fresh. Tables and silver wear and seats were clean. Waiters was friendly and nice and helpful and different waiters was helping each other out. We got our food 5-10 minutes after sitting down which is impressive because they were busy. I definitely recommend to go here and I would definitely go here again.

The Sandusky Bay Pancake House offered my friends and I fast and affordable service. Further, the wait staff was very friendly, the menu was huge with lots of different options for even the pickiest eaters, and the food we did order was wonderful! Wife loved the power skillet, she had never had that kind of combo before (quinoa, sweet potato, eggs and spinach). My 2 eggs however left something to be desired.Sometimes with portions it can be hit or miss.To be fair, I did look around at some other plates and saw that their sandwiches were legit, unfortunately I didnt t order those items.
