Perfect small family run spot with all you need

Forget the big stores. Glen Park Hardware is your mom and pop one stop shop to get items you need. I stopped at 3 big stores to find out they did not have any supplies before walking in to Glen Park Hardware. I learned that they really practice social distancing too only allowing 5 people in the store.

Really well furnished neighborhood hardware store, considering its size. Super helpful staff. Highly recommended.

I should feel lucky that In present San Francisco our neighborhood has One of the few left operating neighborhood hardware stores. But when willing to pay the extra 30 to 75% surcharge that is typical for this endangered vendor It or they usually make up for the bloated prices with Dependability. That’s sad for the second time I’ve been turned away by a sign on the front door that reads our systems are down CLOSED. Making it just an overpriced hardware store

Helpful, had what I needed

Got a key duplicated. The key did not work at first. I came back and they made me another one. The 2nd time worked. It is a small hardware but to us neighbor, itbis a gem. Very convenient for a quick fixing.

A little small. I thought a 1in ball valve would be common enough to stock. Probably has a good enough Supply for the neighborhood though.

I called them or stopped there several times to ask for Torx screwdriver 8, they didn’t have any. Pump for bike, they didnt have any... today I called to get a fuse for Xmas lights... no surprise they don’t have any again.The point of a small store like this is to have any items so we don’t have to go to a big retailer to get them.

Knowledgeable and friendly. Much quicker to get in and out than a large hardware store. The only problem is that their hours arent the most convenient (they are basically open only when Im at work, aside from Sat. Closed Sunday.)

The folks at Glen park hardware are very helpful and they know their stuff. I needed a nut for a special screw assembly for a baby carriage. I went in with the part and they had what I needed. Thank you.

Great place to quickly pick up that last minute item on your weekend project.

I made a key here, they had fun blanks with animals (I got one with a penguin on it) and got potting soil for my indoor plants. Seems like a nice family run place, the staff was very helpful when I was looking for things. Its a small shop.

Just re-opened Nice and more organized than he previous store that was such an institution in the neighborhood for so many years. Glad that it will still continue to be part of the neighborhood

Very helpful with fining what you need and we were in and out in a few minutes.

I stopped in to buy some packing tape. There was no price tag on it, but I figured it would be reasonably priced...it’s just packing tape, right? The clerk rang it up and said , “That’ll be $12.10.” After I picked my jaw up from the floor, “I said $12 for tape?!” This is price gouging. This is why this place will be out of business in a few years.

The couple that run the Glen Park Hardware store have to be the sweetest, nicest, most helpful people. I love shopping here.

Glen Park is blessed with some great independents but the jewel inthe crown must be GPH.Thank you for your many years of service.

Friendly staff, had the tiny needle nose pliers I needed

They never answer their phone. What is the point of even having a store when you can’t provide customer service? It’s not like parking is ample there so before I go I like to confirm if what I want is actually there.
