My son called yesterday and today we visited and discovered they have no in-store shopping yet. He was able to get several marvel card packs after standing in a short line before being served at the front door ☺️.

Pokemon cards are way overpriced, Im so for spring lgs but only if theyre honest. This one just wants money.

I can only speak on the MTG cards. They had a lot of really old packs. Im talking reeeaaallll old. Singles, sleeves, boxes mats, biders etc. Its a place to buy, not a place to play. For sure a cool place though.

My not-so local comic shop. Been going there for decades. Cool clerks, good selection of comics and action figures, and kid friendly for the younger readers.

Love this place went there today to fine Godzilla figures and they had so much to choose from . I cant wait till we can go in to shop . Every time I am looking for hard to find toys we go here. And came all the way from Bay Point.

There is no better card store in SF than Cards and Comics Central. Their staff is top notch, giving advice and information as it pertains to me and my needs.They are doing curbside service during COVID and its been very cool. Prices are affordable too!This place has earned a customer for life. You wont find a better spot!

Good selection of Magic. Multiple workers who were friendly and helpful. Lots of other stuff too but my kids and I only interested in Magic this trip.

Cant go inside of store wont sell me any vintage cards because all stored away. Wont sell most of his products because hes limited over pricing on what he sells. And its been a while since Ive emailed and havent received no reply back.

I got a small squishy here and when to another store and I got a big one fore 4 more dollars but there is still good stuff

This place is about as close as you can get to amazing and perfect and the best place for magic cards I have ever seen!!! I Highly recommend this store, when I visit the Bay Area I will come again. The clerk was amazing he recommended me some cool cards and was extremely friendly.

In response to Baseball History, This customer(child) was totally obnoxious from the beginning. I have been in the business for 30+ years and have not experience a child with such attitude. He would refuse to give me any sort of list of the books he was looking for. Our older inventory is in storage. He would give me one book at a time. I explained to him that it would be more efficient to give me a list of the books he was looking for that I check our stock . He would refuse to do so for some reason. When I pulled the silver age books he was looking for he totally mishandled the books by picking them up by the corners causing the books to bend. For a customer who claims he purchase books and an Amazing Spider-man #1 absolutely does not know how to handle books. I asked him several time please handle the books more carefully. He ignored my request. The one book in particular (Captain America 111) regarding tanning was a white cover book. For a 50+ year old book it will have light to moderate tanning in this grade(OW) in this grade. From the beginning this customer kept pointing out all of the flaws. Based on my experience the book was in F+/VF conservatively. As in his review he confirms this book to be in VF with moderated off white cover. This obnoxious child is a bottom feeder treating businesses like a flea market seller. In the 30 years I have been in business this is the first that I have encounter a child of his age to be so arrogant and condescending. I guess there is always a first.

Fun place. Lots of books with great prices and friendly staff. They enjoyed the Paige Turner Reading is Sexy t shirt. They also had older books dating back to 1930 and 40s. Among some cool books and graphic novels I got a Very Best of WCW Monday Nitro DVD for a dollar.

This shop is awesome...!!!They stock vintage stuff from back in the day as well as stuff from Japan and new stuff as well.Hard to find Robotech/Transformer first genThey have it all this is definitely a nerd Paradise !But oh my God are they expensive but theyre expensive for a reason...They have stuff youre just not going to find in normal stores.Special editions.First gen on many different subjectsMecca and cards.If youre a collector of any kindthis is a must go toIve been there one time and Ill tell you one thing....it wont be my last.But do yourself a favor bring at least$100 bill..... because youre going to want to buy everything !And that way at least youll geta couple items.....🙂

This is probably the biggest comic book store in the city. With the widest selection Ive seen in the city. The staff is friendly and willing to take the time to show you where things are. Definitely one of the friendlier comic book stores.

Their selection is UNBELIEVABLE! They have everything from vintage comics and toys to the really expensive collectible figures from Sideshow and Hot toys. After looking into Bay Area shops for Japanese imported figures, I think this one was the better ones in terms of size and selection but not organization. Plenty of Play Arts Kai figures and SH Figuarts available but hard to pinpoint them. They definitely have a good selection, I was able to see some more uncommon figures available. Prices vary but seem typical. Ive never made a purchase here yet though since I havent found anything Ive been looking for at a sale price but I do like stopping by to try and find one!

I always love goimg to thisnplace. I dont buy comics but im more into fugures amd stuff like that, which they seem to always have what i wanted. Hust got me a bbn pinhead bishojou which was pretty cool. Some of the dudes who work there are hella cool.

I got my first Hot Toys figure from them a couple of weeks ago and had been there only a couple of times prior but they have shown already that they are truly fantastic. Since there are sooo many high priced figures on the wall to choose from I felt uneasy at first asking to see one but was immediately made comfortable after they showed me one and the employee himself asked if there was anymore I wanted to see. Even though I wasnt purchasing anything that day in particular he took the time to get a ladder and bring down a few figures to look at. Ace customer service!

If youre into collectible card games, comics or other pop culture items, this is the place for you. But be prepared by saving up a lot of money, because there is a very wide selection of items to choose from. For my particular situation, they had an expensive item I wanted to buy in storage. The item was not on display, but I was eventually able to buy the expensive item. The place may seem cramped on the inside, but the customer support by the store staff is helpful and excellent. The only drawback is that from the outside, a person cant tell it is a comic and collectibles store unless he or she knows what they are looking for and actually looks at the window displays(there is a lit-up Cards and Comics Central store sign and various pop culture items on visual display). The stores exterior is very nondescript. But once you enter inside, you will have an experience of a lifetime.

Always has a lot of awesome action figures and some older stuff ,of action figures from the 90s.

Surprised at how rude this place is. They use the word child in a condescending way to try and put younger people down. I was trying to find a gift for someone as well as fill in my runs. I gave them a very clear list. They spent about half an hour back looking for them, stating multiple times that I was wasting their time. Then they showed me a collection they had recently purchased. It was a stack of silver age Captain Americas with no bags or boards.Their prices, (as I stated) were very overpriced. I also explained to them how I was not looking for key issues becuase I was not looking to spend a lot of money. They did not listen. I was holding the book correctly - They claimed I was bending it. If your worried about the condition then put the comics in a bag and board. I think that its just a level of disrespect that is the most surprising. Its not even the comics. They overgrade/overprice their comics, and make you feel bad if you point them out on this. Note to Cards and Comics Central: Next time treat your customers right if you want them to have a positive experience.

I cannot speak highly enough of my visit and purchasing experience. They were patient, incredibly helpful, and went the extra mile with a bag helping me to carry my purchases home, and even tips on the getting back to the bus (38R near 14th Ave, fyi).

I found the service pretty good though there was one time that they had a hard time counting change but thats pretty common among young cashiers -- the comics are all bagged and boarded in advance and they have a great selection of the latest from DC, Marvel, IDW, and more! The place always seems busy and its the only store I know in San Francisco where I can get bags, boards and boxes. They really need to update their website, with ads from 2008??

Had a lot of fun at their FNM event last week. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and customers made it one of the more enjoyable events I have ever been to.

My favorite comic book shop in the city! Freaking awesome selection for Heroclix, Magic the Gathering, action figures, busts/sculptures/figurines, and new/old comics! Which are the reasons I go here. Staff is really knowledgeable and helpful! Checkout process is a bit confusing every time because they always seem to be busy whenever I go in, but I guess busy is a good thing for a comic book store :-)

Awesome spot to get comics new and old as well as an extensive selection of collectables. Perhaps the largest inventory of nerdy collectables of most comic shops in the city.

They helped me find exactly what I was looking for and their prices were very good even for collectibles.

There was a very large variety of products here. There was a big variety of comics to choose from as well as figures, games, etc. All of them were very fairly priced as well.

Lots of comics, collectibles and playing cards(like Pokémon, Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh), Saturday is their busiest day, with tournaments(if still going on).

This place has an excellent selection of comics (including back issues) from Japanese manga to American weeklies. It also has excellent prices for figurines and collectibles. Board game selection is also quite decent.

This is the best card shop and comic store in San Fransisco. It has all type and kinds of comics. They also have cards and card sleeves such as vanguard, buddyfight, Magic, pokemon and more. This is the best shop in the world try going there I guarantee you that you will like it!

These guys run a no-joke toy shop, SUPER LEGIT spot for rad collectible figures, soooo many japanese imports. Nice dudes too, if you dont see what you want theyll go out of their way to figure out if its hiding in the back, great place

Im not much of a Marvel or DC fan but I was after the Gundam Kits here and saw low stock on the kits mostly of HG and a couple MG, there are a couple more kits aside from gundam that I cant identify to my knowledge (if anyone is interested in other model kits)But they do have a couple more gundam related stuff on their shelf at the front (far left side if your facing their cashierMy rating is just based on the gundam kits

Good place for comic books and card games such as magic the gathering, pokemon, and yigioh. Prices can be iffy but has a lot to look at as well as a lot of figurines and toys.
