Jin help me throughout the whole selection of my bathroom remodeling. As I came in the store, it was a little intimidating and I was hoping that I could find someone who can take the time to work with my bathroom remodel. Look around and if you find something that suites your likings dont be afraid to talk to one of the sales agent. Their products are imported and priced reasonably. One of the English speaking sales person should be able to gladly help you.

I am really happy to have a great service, especially with Mr. Ray Kuan and East star reasonable product lines. They keep constantly updating products with most modern designs at lower cost

Large variety of high end tiles and cabinets. You can find items in all price ranges.You also have the option of custom cabinets. Nice place to visit if you are remodeling!

First shopping experience was really good. Got shower sets for restroom. They had a great collection of hansgrohe and most of them were in stock. Everyone inside the shop wore masks. Very reasonably priced which was very important for us. Definitely would be making more visits here for other restroom products like standing bathtub, vanity and tiles. Hoping to have the same experience.

Great for a wide selection of prefabricated countertop slabs, vanities, hardware, etc. They have lots of things in stock and ready to pick up. The selection is on trend. You cant beat the prices, but if you want high quality items, youll probably need to search elsewhere.

Very bad customer service. The people here don’t care what happens to your orders and put minimal effort on customers satisfaction. They will ignore you and pretend as if you where not there.

Staff is very helpful. The selection is limited to a few models with multiple interchangeable parts.

Where do I start?? I think my pictures will tell the story! They have everything you need to build a beautiful bathroom and kitchen.Im currently picking out fixtures for a studio in SF. I found grey modern cabinets with silver handles. I picked grohe kitchen faucet and large rain shower head.The zephyr kitchen ventilation is my favorite.I picked light grey bamboo flooring and light grey ceramic tile for the bathroom. I still have to pick out the back splash for the kitchen. Theres so much to chose from.The customer service is great and the variety is phenomenal!Im think you need a contractors license but well worth hiring one to pick the best for your home.

Waste of time! I saw some cabinets they had on their website, and I decided I wanted to check them out at the store. I went to the store and saw the cabinets in the model kitchens so I decided to go home and do measurements so that I could order them. I went back the next day and I was first told they were on back order. I then started to ask about how long to get some, they then admitted that the cabinets were discontinued. I got up and left. I guess they thought Id end up buying something else. I bet that they wont bother removing it from their website. They could at least put a note on the model kitchen that its no longer available. Wont be going back there again.

Terrible business practices. They didn’t honor the quote they gave us and said the price went up despite the quote being valid for another 2 weeks.

Check here before buying anywhere.See Jet Chen. He drew up plans for my kitchen with expertise and didnt add on filigree like the girls behind the counter tried. No Return policy so be sure.

The showroom is well laid out in an organized easy to shop manner.They had a pretty wide selection of counter top choices. With more than a few what appeared to be decent priced deals. No high pressure sales people. But enough staff that was helpful when help was sought out.The loading help & process was fairly speedy. Although 1 of our 2 man team pawned off lifting his side of 4- 300 lb. countertops onto me and basically just helped balance it while the two were rolling it out of the warehouse. Which is here nor there and not the end of the world for me but it was awkward because of the language barrier. Basically he didnt have the English skills to say you lift it, Im not going to. And I dont speak whatever asian language they speak. Although I tipped the one who did do his share of lifting a $20 which is how I say thanks for the help in asian and $0 thanks for nothin to the slacker half of the team.It would have been an issue if it was an older or injured or weaker customer tho. We werent the biggest customer of the day Im sure. ( The place was pretty busy)But we did drop over $3000 on items that weigh upwards 1700 lbs total, so it seemed reasonable to think wed get friendly helpful assistance loading it onto our truck.Mabey the slackers back was out or something. Who knows?They could have carried more cheap quality stuff in my opinion also.But I suppose warehouse space aint cheap so no room for it I guess.

Remodeled three kitchens and four baths with East Stars help for several investment houses upon the recommendation of my Chinese contractor. Michael Zhang and Ray were so helpful in the design, ordering and installation process. The cabinets are good quality, the countertops are beautiful and the sales staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The prices cant be beat and the inventory is vast. I had no trouble exchanging or returning items (unused) that I made a mistake in ordering on several occasions. The workers that load up the materials can be a little curt and sometimes you stand around not knowing if and when you will be helped, but the workers open all items so you can inspect them before leaving. A fantastic one-stop shop with excellent selection and prices. The additional items they carry (fixtures, sinks, toilets, shower doors, tile, vanities, etc.) are a cut above standard Home Depot fare, better made than IKEA, and for a very reasonable price, will be installed promptly by East star referred installers. Have recommended this place to many of my friends and have seen several designers come to East Star repeatedly to outfit luxury apartments and SF high rises. Plan on spending an entire morning or afternoon browsing inventory and bring plans with thorough measurements so you can make the best use of your time.

So much stuff for the construction professional. Its a candy store for the likes of me.

Good place to go for tile, flooring, fixtures, and cabinets. Only thing no return policy if you dont like it. But prices are competitive.

This is contractor building supply store. Dont expect their sales gonna help, they are only there to take orders. However, the value of their cabinets and tiles are excellent. Great pricing overall.

This is not a place for the faint of heart. You should have some knowledge of construction materials or design or come with someone like a contractor or designer. There are some mock up kitchen and bathroom designs in the spacious showroom and row after row of countertops and tiles. There are not salespeople to guide you or show you around. The salespeople are there to take orders and possibly negotiate sales. This is not a place for little kids, despite my seeing some parents letting their kids wander around unsupervised.

Lots of choices and good price

Most items are from the far east. Very reasonable prices. Quality is what you paid for. But if you look throughly, you can find some very nice items for you home improvement.

Unsatisfactory, items wanted, not in or discontinued. Sad.

Was so pleasant to make business with this place i need a special size Rubi tile cutter and they were very reliable to help, before me was other customers been help, when he pay he was about to left when Ken told him to dont forget the change, thats what it call my attention, KEN NGO was very pleasant to work with you, honest people its hard to find nowadays. Tiles were dirty when opened.They gave me two different color grey slabs for counters. Had to toss and buy them all over again.I ordered bathroom slab for two bath rooms. I asked for white and got cream version.Won’t come back, dark horse of my full remodel.

Very good selection. It’s also a very efficient place to buy things. You won’t have to wait long for your order and they inspect and help you load it. I bought a toilet bowl and a faucet. I had to return the faucet because I bought the wrong kind and that was a very easy process as well. Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable.

If you want to buy cheap kitchen cabinet then this is the place. There are alway little crack at door where hardware screwed. The bad thing is you cannot return once you picked up.

East Star has a big selection but the sales person couldnt find their book to show us all the different range hoods so we walked. She walked after us and said that she could order whatever we wanted but it would have been nice if we could have looked at the book then and there so I dont know if well make it back or not. But nonetheless you have a great selection there and pretty competitive prices to. Im still looking for that range hood though.

Bought some tiles from them, color was grey, but when I got home and checked it the lable said graphite, went back and they exchange it with no problem.

These guys and gals are absolutely fabulous. Besides having a great choice of inventory with great prices, to choose from, they are all kind, courteous and know their stuff...one of the highlights of my project was meeting them!!!

Overall a decent place to shop. I picked up two quartz slab and had to toss.The colors were not an exact match. Too heavy to deal with, quite upsetting.

Have to say I have mixed feelings about the company. They did a great job at creating the layout of my kitchen so I have to give them credit for that. The turnaround time for kitchen to be ready was one month so I guess it wasnt that bad. The real problem came when I got the call saying cabinets had arrived. I scheduled the pickup for Saturday at 9am, since I have a one hour commute I cancel my husbands day of work, asked a friend for help, rented a truck and dolly since its poring rain outside.... get to the store only to be told cabinets are NOT ready. When I call back furious the lady doesnt even apologize she said maybe it was a misunderstanding!!!! I can have them ready next Saturday!!! Since I spend more than 3k in the cabinets I guess I have no choice but to pick them up, but never again will use them or recommend them.... so if you use them in the future ask and call several times to get your orders right!!!

Terrible install, they cracked the slab when drilling the hole for the faucet...now there is a big crack between the hole they drilled and the sink, looks terrible. Backsplash is too high, so now the plastic covers do not fit on the electrical outlet plugs and the switch for the garbage disposal! They did not install the counter with enough of an overhang on the edge facing the stove, so now the plywood under the countertop shows.. seams are uneven..looks really bad... I have found some nice building materials there... Just dont use their install services!

Do not buy anything from here. I got a toilet with defect, their responses was they dont refund or exchange. Got it yesterday, went in today. They sent me away to deal with manufacture myself. When I called the manufacture, they said the company I bought from handles the defect on the porcelain.The customer service is junk, you can find comparable stock throughout the Bay area with the same price range. There is no need to support a company who does not support the product they sale.
