Bruce in the shoe department was very helpful with finding my girlfriend the perfect shoe and give me great advice for which push cart to buy. I will definitely be going back.

David, salesperson, excellent, gentleman. Brought in my putter to compare, said I turn over my right hand, he gave me four less twist options including an $80 Tour Action that did as well as my #1 choice, a $300 Ping. Also had my Cleveland 7-iron and told him I hit irons too high, should I have them bent? He was very straight with me (no pun), Ill lose forgiveness, so I concluded no. Instead I asked for club suggestions and he showed me two used and one new TaylorMade iron sets. In three swings I hit the TaylorMade M2 7-iron 165, up from 150 with my Cleveland, and the used set was $469 ... done! (And I later learned they cost less than online.) Free labor on new grips when you buy a set and they have hundreds of options. What can one say ... in a half-hour and $600 my game is something like 25% better. As David said, the right club sells itself. Impossible to challenge that logic.

Spent two hours trying different clubs with Bob, he gave me a lot of useful information, was extremely patient with me, is very enjoyable to talk to, and best of all, ended up getting me into a great bag full of clubs. Very happy with this experience!Thank you!

This review is specifically for the assistant manager Russel. The store is great and the sales people are helpful and knowledgeable. However the assistant manager treated us terribly when we were paying. My Dad asked if there were any extra discounts and he started a long rant about availability and other things that did not make sense. When we made a comment about his attitude he did not apologize but instead doubled down on his rant. After a great experience with the rest of the sales people we left feeling offended.

Steer clear of the assistant manager named Russel. I don’t understand how someone with poor customer service ethics can have that position in the store. Left with a horrible aftertaste after our exchange with him.Everyone else on the store was helpful and kind. They have the best selection of everything golf.

Some major errors occurred regarding shipping/receiving. Our product was sent to wrong address. Golf Mart went out of their way to address our issue. They took 1club out of a complete set for us so we did not have to wait another 3 weeks. When they say customer satisfaction they really came through.Thank you to all who help!!!!

The staff here is friendly and helpful even when they’re really busy. I had a pleasant experience trading in a club. The worker at the front couldn’t answer my question so they called the manager up to speak with me. The manager was very kind while addressing my questions and concerns. Then I went back to the gripping area the workers back there were swamped with work but still managed to help me in a pleasant and timely manner. Overall, this store is much nicer to shop at than other brand name stores around. The selection is great and the store is always clean and tidy. I highly recommend the Mission Valley Golf Mart.

Experienced staff. New items selection is very extensive, but they also have a large selection of pre-owned clubs (drivers to putters, and whole iron sets). 4 hitting bays, albeit some patrons dont adhere to the 10mins usage intervals. Very close to the freeway.

I got lost in this store! They have 4 bays were you can pretty.much grab any demo club and go to town. You can get fitted here and if you needed clubs regrip/repaired they do it as well. This stor is ALL GOLF ⛳!!!

Love this shop, great place to get a new driver dialed in. Just dont ask the shorter guy at the repair center any qiestions. Not only did he seem completely bothered by me being there, his condescending demeanor as I asked questions of things i was unsure of, only to provide as little info as possible. I wanted to move to a bigger grip on my driver, had never purchased a grip in my life. After expressing this i was shooed over to the grip wall where i was a bit lost. Went back again to ask a question, again, condescending attitude. Come on guy, im asking because I dont know, not going out of my way to make you do your job. He failed miserably on the one important question I had. Put a 9° head on a shaft that had an adapter for a 10.5° club. I was told that even though its a 9° club head, if its at the 10.5 mark the loft is 10.5. Wrong, sir. Wrong. Great store though, maybe the repair guy was having a bad day. Definitely a place I recommend.

Visited the shop in Escondido a few years back and had a great enough experience to purchase a new set on the spot. So a few weeks ago, thought Id drop some $ on the one closer to me in Mission Valley. The staff at missions valley had no interest if you werent buying an entire set and demonstrated a dismissive demeanor. Thought maybe it was a one time thing. Bad day for the store perhaps. Turns out my wife went to get me some gifts from there and had the exact same experience. I would be embarrassed to be the GM. Well never spend money here . They will get the same deserving verbal reviews when speaking with anyone looking for a good shop.

Well I cant say a whole lot because all I did was called and asked a couple simple questions. Call lasted maybe a minute and the guy on the phone was a complete A hole. His name was John I believe. Simply asked about having a couple shaft I need built and he would only give me one word answers and I had to hang up on him. I work in the golf industry, customer service at that, and this guy was way out of line for no reason. I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

This is a great store. They have a huge selection of everything that you could possibly need. They have used golf clubs as well as a few simulators to hit them on. The associates that work there are very helpful and knowledgeable. you can tell they have a passion for the game. the store itself is very large and well organized and clean with hand sanitizer available as soon as you walk in.

Always a great place to test out a new driver, roll some putts or just pick up a new golf shirt. Great to see golf at the top of everyones list.

My son and I went in to The Golf Mart to inquire about warranting a couple of his clubs, and we had the single best customer service experience Ive ever had - anywhere. Not only did he warranty the clubs with the issue, but the entire set of irons! Then Russell took the time to evaluate the club head speed in my sons swing to see if he would benefit from stiffer shafts. It turned out that he would so we opted for the stiffer shafts. I think it was a good call since my son had grown a lot, in size, strength, and skill, since last year when we bought his previous set with regular shafts - he just made varsity on his HS golf team too. I was so thrilled with the whole transaction that I had no problem going back in and spending a couple hundred dollars on a new (used) driver for my son. It was a fantastic experience and I look forward to going there again.😁

I have bought 3 sets of irons, multiple putters, wedges, and boxes and boxes of balls. The great thing about this place is the playability warranty with the clubs. I always swing better in the golf shop and the true test is always on your home course. Before I knew what I really wanted,...I knew I wanted quality but wasnt sure about bounce, lower MOI, etc. So i leveraged their warranty to find the exact clubs I liked. Since those days of using the warranty guess what? I know more about what I like so I dont have to exchange clubs as much! But knowing that you can...it is a good feeling especially when you are dropping serious coin for quality clubs. Minus one star cause parking stinks....but adding .5 stars cause you are next to Wendys and that is about as much as I can afford after buying all this golf equipment.Oh. I also like the fact that the sales people are not pushy...some people say..Hey I want all the attention in the world and these guys dont give it to me. ...that is a mommy/daddy issue. What these guys do provide is 4 or 5 booths to hit balls from. Good balls (not overly used and terrible), and they dont make you tape up all their clubs while trying them.Overall, this shop is 100% middle aged man, mid handicap approved.

Golf Mart in Mission Valley is by far the best golf shop in San Diego! Rowdy (the GM), and Russell (the AGM) are two of the nicest, dedicated, passionate, and knowledgeable individuals I’ve ever met at a golf shop. They have both gone above and beyond to far exceed my needs and expectations. The staff here from top to bottom is the best it gets. Bob, David, and Robin in Clubs have helped me tremendously. I’ve definitely put the boys in the repair shop through the ringer, but every time they are patient, professional, and knock out top quality work quickly. So thanks to Chris, Hector, Jeff, and anyone else in the back I’ve missed. Raquel, Mike, Alex, everyone up front... just super nice and cheery all day, always greeting you, always making you feel right at home. I love this shop. They’ve earned my loyalty by surpassing excellence in every way. I can’t say enough about all of you! I love this golf shop. There are a lot of good people there who are very friendly. I had my grips changed and they got them done in 24 hours. Also, they are very helpful at deciding what clubs to buy. I was repeatedly shown different options. Here take these 7-irons and go hit them. How did they feel? Can you feel the differences? He would go on to explain who in the tour uses what. They dont push you to buy anything to try to close the deal. It all feels its about helping you to find the right equipment. Undergoing renovations right now, but they have a good selection of used clubs. We came to change our the shaft of my daughters driver and the service was a bit slow. They did a nice job on the driver though. Took a couple of days and they never called to let us know it was ready, but we just gave them a call a couple of days after dropping it off.

I love this place. From Mike in the front, Chris doing club repairs and Tracy helping with all your gadgets, shoes and accessories, they are an awesome staff. Selection is usually really good and its a warm environment. Worth the drive up.

Nice selection of items available. Prices are high, but golf is an expensive hobby/sport so its to be expected. What I did not like was being made to feel like a staff member was watching me the whole time like I was going to steal something. Not a great way to keep customers.

Let me say first I’m not a golfer. The lady is the golfer. I come in here to buy gifts. I have always been helped and assisted to find what I need. Often their recommendations have been echoed by the lady, meaning I got it right. I can’t give this place a five as I’m not a golfer. However when I took the lady here for her clubs she was happy as can be with the assistance. Be aware I told him not to worry about price and we didn’t walk out with the most expensive set.It’s crowded and somewhat difficult to get to but I think worth it.

I agree with the review that references the repair shop. The employees could absolutely give a you know what if you have your repair work done by them. Every single time Ive called for an estimated time frame on minor repairs, the response is along the lines of were very busy and they dont know when they can get to my repair. I think the other review is correct in that they try to discourage you from bringing in your repair, as it just means they have to do more work.
