I needed to mail documents to a client in the UAE and the experience I had at Box Galaxy was excellent. They priced out all of the international carriers and took extra time to make sure the address was correct.I also shipped a personal package that they repackaged to make sure it would meet USPS specs without any fuss. Ill happy return to BoxGalaxy for my shipping needs.

Ron did a fantastic job for me custom packing, and modifying a box for a flight that survived the airport handlers. Their prices are reasonable, the service was great! I would use them again in a minute.

I would give this place negative stars if this were possible. Be very careful with Tim. Let me explain. Most of the time, things will make it to their location just fine. The problem arises when things are lost or broken. Tim will ship goods at very low NMFC class levels. Because he takes your money up front, after you bring your goods to him, you are unaware that he essentially brokered a deal with large shipping company valuing your goods at about 10 cents to the pound. (thats less than tomatoes btw). I spoke with an agent at American Group, Tims shipping intermediary, and learned that Tim ships nearly everyones goods for interstate moves at these low NMFC classes. Why? Because he only has to pay a fraction of the cost you paid him to the shipping companies because hes essentially saying your goods have almost no intrinsic value. He takes the difference and is gambling everytime anyone uses him to ship goods. He doesnt offer you insurance because I am not even sure items at such low classes are even insurable. Most of the time, this trick works well and no one knows what is going on because no one cares to know...they received their goods. Its when goods are lost, or damaged, that you learn what he is up to. It has been over 9 months since my goods were completely damaged. All Tim has done is pretend to empathize with me while placing blame on the moving company. Now that I try calling him, he states that he is unable to hear me because of spotty cell reception. When I demand to speak with him, he then states he will have to call me back because is the only one in the store. Tim, Im on to you. As promised, I will not stop until I have my money back or that my goods are returned to me. In summary, he charged 1200 to ship my goods that fell off a truck at the time of delivery. Goods are damaged (see below) and Road Runner can only give 10 cents per pound in damages because of the NMSC class Tim used to broker this shipment. Buyers...BEWARE!!! If you think your goods are worth more than 10 cents a pound (which would be most as people dont move goods that dont have value), then RUN the other way.

I mailed a 24in by 24in painting to my parents in Michigan. Not an inexpensive endeavor as far as shipping goes (about $70 to ship with FedEx), but having Box Galaxy pack it up was definitely the right choice. They did a wonderful job and my parents said it arrived safely. They were impressed with the precautions done when it was packed by the guys at Box Galaxy. Thanks Ron and co!

Ron with Box Galaxy has packed and shipped several of my paintings for me. He and Box Galaxy have been a great resource to me both for packing my art and for being able to buy all the shipping supplies I need for items I send on my own. They have the best prices in town for the shipping supplies I need, especially for items that I’d have to buy quite a few to get a good price through Uline, whereas I can just buy one or two boxes here when I need them. Also, everyone here is always helpful and friendly. Big plus!

Rented an U-Haul and picked up in this store. It is Dec 2020, middle of a pandemic with more than 3k cases in San Diego and no ICU capacity and the representative didnt wear a mask.They charged me an insurance that I didnt asked for and didnt inform me about the delivery fee when returning after hours.

I love this place so much. Its crazy how well informed and helpful the staff is. both times Ive visited and purchased, always has me excited to come back again! They are super friendly & will answer literally any questions you have until you are satisfied lol.I love all the variety of boxes and shipping material you can pick from, too. They even special order sizes for you if they dont have ones at store. Even though prices are a bit higher than what Id hope for, the service really makes up for it. thank you Box Galaxy staff!! always happy to come by and support you all :)

I was packing for a client and based on the list in my head box galaxy helped me pick out the perfect amount of packing supplies, exact. Just in case I there in an extra room off bubble wrap which I didnt need (they were right) and they showed me to return it with a small restock fee. These guys know pacing and they carry excellent supplies. Moving is stressful enough, get your supplies here and make your life easier!

They stock moving and shipping boxes and supplies of all types. The prices are slightly better than other places Ive shopped. The display room is clean and well-lit, and the staff is friendly and efficient.

Great selection of all size boxes for all things. Cheaper than the UPS Store or Postal Annex, but not as cheap as Home Depot or Wal-Mart. But if you need an odd-sized box, or some packing material in bulk, this is a great place to go. They also have packing services available, and you get quantity discounts by buying in bulk.
