False advertisement!When I walked in I was immediately greeted with “last call“ and Instant pressure to hurry up and choose! It was very unpleasant and it really upset me. I have never posted a review and I’ve been to some terrible establishments before.What you see is not what you get. Shot glasses were 6.99 and my total was 7.53 (for one shot glass) and the night before that two men were very upset because they couldn’t understand why their purchase was so high when as stated it was MUCH lower! They say it’s sales tax, but it’s absolutely a total rip off they are pocketing extra change on top of over priced Items.The worst and most uncomfortable part of my experience here was the creepy tall thin man that works as a cashier, Halloween started early for these folks. He looked at me in such a way that just felt weird, I am not laughing or making a joke about this. These guys are terrible at there jobs and need to hire outside the family.100% you will be paying way more than normal tax. It ruined my night.

I stayed at the legacy resort next door and was having a great time until I entered this establishment. I proceeded to ask the owner who is the cashier where the shot glasses were and he stared me with his eye that I could tell he was disgusted or thought I was trash I believe because I walked in with my friend who is African American. I was no more than 3 ft away from him when I asked him about the Tequila selection and he looked up and made eye contact with me but said nothing. This stare went on for what seemed to be forever until I said umm Tequila..? Which is when he flattly said what about it? You going to buy 1? I then went through the motions of buying good from this establishment while in complete silence the only thing that broke the deafening silence was only broken by his wandering eye as he kept glancing at the other Customers who funny enough were of African Decent is the most uncomfortable Ive ever felt inside of a store is the most uncomfortable I felt in front of another man I 100% do not support this establishment or the way that he chastises certain customers Ie people of color its deplorable and I am surprised that there arent more of these reviews on here I hope that after mine is posted there will be.

Good selection of drinks and snacks, only downfall is cashier grew too impatient real fast when I had to transfer money real quick to my debit card, seeing how they don’t Apple Pay, or any of those virtual phone payments. They need to update their system. And I definitely did not like the look that one cashier gave to my friend and I as we walked out from microwaving our food… looking at us like we stole something. Get outta here with that shiznit.

Every time I have been to this location after the great experience customer service great owners and staff wonderful and helpful. The store is a little expensive but you paying for convenience otherwise you have to leave area to go to a store or another place like Valley Liquor. Whenever Im staying in Hotel Circle I always go to Valley Liquor, an I just found out they deliver to hotels within Hotel Circle for free if order is over 35$, which you cant go wrong there😏

That place charges to much money for everything. Its the one store that has a shuttle .. which is nice .. but not when things are super expensive...

A bit pricey for what you are getting. But has a variety of beverages, food, and snacks. Super friendly staff though.

I normally like this place despite the elevated prices on all their inventory; this is actually to be expected being the area is prominently hotels. The staff could use some training in customer service; the establishment doesnt excuse the lack of friendliness. It is hard sometimes dealing with those coming into your business that are already intoxicated, but your business is to sell liquor. Your website is not reflecting the correct operating hours, tonight I arrived at 2353 with calling the store just 8 minutes prior asking if you had Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey to find your doors closed, lights off with the open sign on in the window. Not acceptable, if you are closed before midnight, please update your hours thank you.

$27 for a $15 12-Pack is a little excessive.

Being Quarantined in the Crown Plaza Hotel for 10 days over Christmas was a nightmare. We are non drinkers but called Valley Liquor for snacks & misc items.These guys brought us anything & everything we needed and they were fast & would call to make sure the front desk brought it up to us. Thank you Valley liquor

Whoever does the stocking of this place, I commend you. The shelves were immaculate and everything was neatly placed. The selection of beer was average, nothing spectacular as far as beer goes. The wine section seemed more extensive, but I didnt check that out. Theres plenty of liquor behind the counter as well. The gentleman was very friendly. One gripe I did have was the price. Everything was easily 15-20% higher than if I were to go to a liquor store right up the hill. I get it though, theyre right in the middle of the hotels in Hotel Circle, so they cater to tourists. They also have souvenirs in the back. Neat place, just a bit too pricey for my wallet.

The selection is amazing. the whole place is clean. The fresh stuff: salads, fruits, deli items definitely old. Like wilted old. But be prepared to pay twice if not two and a half times as much as regular grocery store prices. 😳

If I had only one word to describe this place it would be: EXPENSIVE. Nice store though. Surprisingly cigarettes and lighters seem to be cheaper than some other places weirdly.

Convenient shuttle from Comfort Inn to and from Travel Mart. Reuben the driver was wonderful, friendly, talkative and prompt! The store was clean, neat and well stocked. The cashier was friendly and helpful as well. Thanks Travel Mart!! Highly recommended

Always polite and open! Remodel is awesome, bright and clean. I have been going to this place for decades, and always has fair pricing, lots of smiles and great directions. OH and lets not forget its convenience to everything Mission Valley, Fashion Valley, Old Town, major transit and the beach.

I like the owner but they are very expensive

This place would be better if their e-cigarette options were reasonable . They’re extremely over priced and has no disposables. They tried to charge 30$ for the device which retails for 13$And the pods for 26$ which retails for 7$ everywhere else. That’s over triple the price which is insane to me . The restaurant next door however is amazing and has great customer service !

They not only deliver everything they have in store, but they also offer a free shuttle to and from their store and Crust Kitchen next door (the food is excellent) to anyone staying or living in the nearby areas. You can order free delivery to your Hotel/Motel or your home/apt., etc., in Mission Valley, Hillcrest and nearby areas, and they will deliver anything you forgot to bring on your vacation (soap, shampoo, lotions, shaving and makeup needs, clothing, gifts, souvenirs, etc.) as well as beer, wine, liquor (with I.D.) and even food from their store and Crust Kitchen next door!!! You can pay with cash or credit/debit card. Delivery is usually within 10 minutes to Hotel Circle area! I always tip for delivery. This is a hidden gem in San Diego!!! I highly recommend Travel Mart as your Go To, whether vacationing or live nearby!!!

Thought this place was a joke pricing a cold sandwich at 17$ where you could buy this same sandwich at a typical convenient store for 6$ at the most. Ill be smart next time to not fall for this trap!!!
